Information on Tagawa Gardens

The staff at Tagawa's is beyond helpful and are always around to please. They do have a price problem, though.. way too expensive in today's market. I have had some problems with their roses as you have to spend up to two weeks "hardening" them off.. and then even then half of my roses (at $37/pop!) lost most of their leaves and have not bloomed once in over 2 months. I've found better roses at other places. Their selection of trees & shrubs are always awesome during the height of the season, but again, the prices are a lot steep. I've found myself driving clear across town to other nurseries when this one is actually in my backyard. However, you can't beat the friendliness of the staff and the "extras" that this nursery provides such as atmosphere and classes/events on the weekend! I just love going to Tagawa's and always get into trouble when I do. *wink* :)

Tagawa Gardens has THE most helpful and knowledgeable staff. They know their stuff!

Tagawa is the Premiere Gardening facility in all of Colorado as far as I am concerned. The selection is worth the drive...

The Staff is always available and the Management sees the need for experienced people and they staff up. Never a delay with a question or service!!

I can't say enough about the variety, quality and beauty of their plants! The herbs are awesome! Tomatoes galore!!

Their roses can't be beat!! You may find a cheaper price, but if you want what you want you need go no other place but Tagawa.

I have been coming to their facility as long as I can remember ... I have gone to other Greenhouses, but always go back to Tagawa for my purchases!

If you haven't experienced Tagawa, you need to!

My favorite in the south metro area. Great selection of just about everything. Water garden plants and materials are outstanding. They always have the newest annuals, best container plantings, lots of pots for container gardeners, and just an all around wonderful place to be at any time of the year.

If Tagawa's doesn't have it, you don't need it anyway. Only place around here that has good quality tools and stuff for roses.

Selection of roses is good in May and June, but gets pretty well picked over by July, and because they keep everything inside under cover I have seen a bit of powdery mildew on things by August.

Thier xeric plants are exceptional, and always in fine condition, but a bit pricey.

And, they have a 60% off sale on EVERYTHING on 12/26, every year!

An excellent collection of plants, indoor and out. Rose collection is a must see! An extremely knowledgable and helpful staff. Can be a touch pricey(goes with quality), but have excellent sales. Always have events or classes happening. Could improve tree and shrub collection.
