Good hoses are expensive. Ours get a lot of use and on more than one occasion get run over by the tractor or something else that causes a leak to spring.
Plastic fittings just don't hold up. Although these are more expensive than others, these metal and brass fittings by Gilmour stand the test of time and have saved us $$ overall by being a truly permanent fix.
Very easy to work with - just a screwdriver and a good clean cut - you have your hose back in business.
