Company Comment, posted on November 1, 2001:
The new variety list goes up in late November or early December each year. I don't post a list until I can be sure of the material I will have to offer.
I've written a book on grape growing that is thorough, hands-on, with an organic approach, and covering more practical information than any other on the market today. It also covers more on table grapes than any other book in many decades. It should be ideal for home growers as well as commercial growers. This is a book of use to beginners, Extension agents, commercial growers, nurseries, Master Gardeners, and more. A description of the book is available on my website, or go to the publisher's website at: http://www.nationalgardening.com/bgcnews/oct02/index.htm
Lon passed away in January. You may want to note this. I have no obit information for him, just a short note from a family member who wrote to someone else who corresponded with Lon via email regularly. He was 63 years old. I have no other information available.
Great to do buisness with. Offers many varied cuttings
of grape vines. I have ordered for consecutive years now. All cutting have been viable and rooted well. Provides rooting instructions on his home page, and has a great book to help with all aspects of grape growing.
