The scoop on 'Snowpeak Iris and Daylilies'

This is my third year ordering from Denise. Each time she has always been quite generous with her rhizomes, at times including more than one of those I've ordered, plus great bonuses! The rhizomes are very reasonably priced and arrive promptly and are always healthy. Denise is very friendly and a great email communicator, someone I'd love to meet some day. I love that she carries Bianca's! I do not hesitate to recommend Snowpeak Iris & Daylilies to all!

Received a very nice order of Siberian Irises from Denise, bonuses included too. Shipping and communication were very prompt. Have already placed an order in for bearded irises. I have also purchased bearded irises from Snowpeak thru a DG co-op in 2006, they have all done very well.

I am glad you are pleased with both the siberians and bearded iris. Being small I work very hard to do what is right for the customer.

Met Dee Stewart when I scheduled a visit to Snowpeak. A stranger, I got the king's welcome, a personal tour, and lessons! Was very impressed with how clean and tidy her garden was and how well everything was labeled. She personally digs every order, too. And she brings Bianco introductions from Italy to the USA.

She spent several sessions on the phone and emailed me promptly, giving excellent advice, as I agonized over my order. It arrived promptly, accurately, incredibly fresh, with good healthy sizes, some doubles, and so many bonuses I almost dropped my teeth. Many bonuses were ones I'd reluctantly cut from my list. All are doing very well. I'm planning to buy twice as many this year....as soon as I buy more land to plant them on.....

Great selection of wonderfully healthy, vigorous iris rhizomes -- which arrived huge and plump and bursting with life. Prompt, secure shipping. Warm, personable seller with excellent communication. Wish I had more room for more of her iris!

I have ordered from this company twice this year, siberian iris in the spring and tb iris in the summer, and I couldn't be happier and can easily recommend them to anyone. The iris are extremely large and healthy, with some being close to clump size.

These are the biggest Iris I have EVER recieved... each one was a real clump. The prices are sooooo cheap you will never beat them no matter what. This is the best and only Iris company I will buy from, now to forever.

A really great experience with Denise and Snowpeak. We picked up several iris last week -- all of good size and with a truly generous (even by iris company standards) number of bonus iris included. I was delighted to be able to order such a fine selection of iris in the first place -- add fine service, good communication and an evident love of plants to that mix and I consider this a company I will order from again and again.

i loved the iris she sent last year. many of them bloomed this year. and denise always works with me and my budget.

Ordered some dwarf iris from Denise. I had to delete one variety from my order, when the total with shipping, got too high for my budget.
When I opened the box, I not only saw very generous amounts of the ones I had ordered, but she even surprised me by including many starts of the variety that I had felt I needed to delete. She made my day!!
They were very healthy, and disease free. They were well-packed, and shipped very quickly.

This is my first online order of iris rhizomes and I am greatly pleased! Denise was very generous and sent two bonus iris along with my order of 10, not to mention the ones I ordered were more like two for the price of one, as many rhizomes as she sent. They were nice and healthy too, and at a reasonable price. They have a great selection and I had a hard time stopping at 10, so I just might go back and order again right away. I know if I ever need more irises, I will definitely go back to Snowpeak Iris and Daylilies. I highly recommend this company.

I, too, have had an excellent experience this week. In this blistering hot weather we're having, my iris order arrived in excellent condition. Each one was labeled, and in perfect shape.

It must be hard to live up to ratings this good, but my first experience with Snowpeak was great. I okayed and received fabulous substitutes for a couple that were not available, and wonderful bonus plants. The packing was first rate and I've never received healthier looking plants, despite the past weeks terrible heat wave.

I can see why Snowpeak and Denise are so highly recommended!

I rec'd 24 cultivars as part of a co-op purchase. Denise was great w/ follow up communication and packed an awesome box of healthy, fat rhz that arrived right on time.
I recommend Snow Peak and will order again!

Ordered 16 Siberian Iris this year for spring delivery. Prompt e-mails back confirming order and shipping date. When iris arrived all were large divisions (most 5+ fans, and one was 21 fans!) and well packed (water jel around roots, wrapped in wet paper towel, with everything inside a plastic bag secured with a rubber band). A couple of iris were sold out and substitutes included; but the subs were nice newer cultivars. Two bonus iris included as well. Only one small problem in that one of the iris's packaging broke and it arrived dried out. Reported this to Denise and she offerred to ship a replacement right away. I will definitely be ordered from Snowpeak again.

I ordered in April, and there were some problems with my order going through (it came through garbled). I was very happy to get a quick email back and a phone call when one of my choices was sold out. The iris were large, and the bonus was very nice. I will order again.

i ordered from the sale list at the end of the sale. all the irises that i wanted was available. i received really large rhizomes. denise is a great to work with. i will order again.

I ordered too late this year but Denise had most of what I wanted still available. She is tops with customer service which I love. Will always keep her website on favorites list.

First time ordering from Snowpeak Iris and Daylily. Received my order today and was VERY pleased. Well grown, healthy irises. Extremely generous with what is ordered and gifts included. Denise was very friendly and helpful and was able to schedule my shipment right when I wanted it. I love the selection here, some hard to find irises in the stock. I will be ordering again next year. By the way, I already have my entire order planted. ;-)

Received my incredible order yesterday. The rhizome size was good for us East Coast growers. Denise included several rhizomes of most of my selections -- for a couple of them she sent FOUR rhizomes. This is my second time to order from Snowpeak and I will definitely order again.

This is my second year ordering from Denise and I have been very pleased with the results. She was very generous with bonuses and extras, and while the rhizomes she sends tends to be a bit on the smaller size compared to some places they usually always take off and spread just as well as the larger rhizomes.

I have enjoyed dealing with this company. Denise is very nice, and answers emails promptly. The prices are great, too! The rhizomes are not quite as large as other companies, but I haven't had trouble getting them to bloom. For the price, you definitely get more than what you pay for!

They have the best prices all around, the quickest email replys and some really nice bulbs! I will order earlier next year to get iris' that were sold out on this years crop.

Ordered my first batch of Iris - am totally satisfied with email communication, prices, shipping, timing, quality etc. Will definitely be ordering again. They have a great selection as well.

This was my first order with Snowpeak and I'll order again. Just a few weeks after planting most of the rhizones are showing multiple increases. The product was fresh, clean & well packed for shipping. My e-mail query was answered in a timely manner.

I ordered from snowpeak for the first time this year. They responded very fast and sent the iris at planting time. Wonderful looking plants. One was a little small- so they sent 2.! They also sent 4 bonus iris. Great company.

I received my first order of daylilies from Snowpeak today. They were freshly dug, large, healthy, clean and well packed. There was included a sheet with culture notes and instructions. Not only did I receive extra fans of almost all of the cultivars, but she also sent free bonuses! I'm very much impressed by the quality of the product and by the personalized service; they are helpful and responsive to your every question. The company may be small, but they certainly can compete with the big boys. I'd give em an A+

I bought irises from Snowpeak. My experience with this nursery is excellent. I was informed right away when one variety which I have selected was having some late season rot and won't be available. I was given a choice to either get another replacement or refund for the plant. I chose the latter. One week later, I received the 13 plants that I ordered, plus 3 bonus plants, plus planting instructions, plus the refund check. I then noticed that the refunded amount was more than the price of the variety that wasn't available. What happened was that one of the iris I have bought had smaller rhizomes. As a result, Denise gave me a refund, even though she still included it in the irises that were sent to me. I am really impressed with the service.

P.S. Plants are freshly-dugged, large and in good condition. They are well-packaged, and the bonuses are generous too.

Ordered over 20 iris. Received a discount on the order as well as bonus Iris. All were healthy, and all have overwintered well and bloomed this summer. Would order from again...
