| Positive | yielder Hastings Canada (Zone 4b) (6 reviews) January 17, 2010 | Very fast turnaround. One of the fastest, I've ever had. A great way to start out with them. |
| Positive | hillfarm Quesnel, BC (Zone 4a) (33 reviews) October 24, 2005 | Have dealt with Jim Ternier for quite a few years; since 1991 or 92 I'm thinking?
Anyway - great selection of open-pollinated, seed-saver-friendly vegetable & lately flower seeds. Very fair pricing; generous quantities; good germination. Many varieties particularily suited to colder/northern/short season areas.
I highly recommend Prairie Grown Garden Seeds. |
| Positive | marj1946 Calgary Canada (1 review) September 13, 2005 | This was my first year ordering from Prairie Garden and I couldn't have been happier. The service was fast and efficient. The seeds were inexpensive. Excellent web site giving back-up on the product. I am really happy to support a small family owned business that has excellent customer service and I will continue to use them in upcoming years. |
| Positive | haley5 millet Canada (1 review) January 5, 2005 | Have dealt with this company very successfully for many years and can highly reccomend them to any gardener who is interested in growing open-pollinated ,heritage seeds. Jim Ternier, the owner, does not deal in any GMO seeds and most seed listed come complete with an interesting history. Excellent value for your money and nice to be able to support an independant seedsman rather than a large conglomerate. |
| Positive | JOHNFREEMAN Seven Lakes, NC (4 reviews) October 17, 2003 | Sells less common varieties,low prices.Very fast,excellent service.
Seems to be a small family business well worth supporting. |
