I can't say enough positive things about Conner's. It's been my 'go to' hosta haunt for a long time. One would be hard pressed to find a better bang for their buck. They have an outstanding selection and fabulous sized plants, especially on their older stock. Unlike many other nurseries, they do not divide their potted hosta. Unless I'm picking up a new/er cultivar I routinely get a plant with many divisions. I highly recommend Conner's!

I have bought hostas from Conner's for several years now and could not be more happy with their service, knowledge, number of cultivars and especially, overall size and health of plants! Until I discovered Conner's I bought the vast majority of my hostas from another well known nursery in Illinois. I soon found that I got the most bang for my buck at Conner's. It's not as fancy as the other place, but I much prefer getting a pot FULL of hosta for my money than one, or possibly, two divisions. I rarely buy from anyone else! I HIGHLY recommend Conner's Nursery, they get two thumbs up from this very satisfied customer!

40 of us from the nihs went on a bus trip to the peoria, il area and toured 3 magnificent gardens on saturday july 24th. our trip was supposed to be capped off by a stop at conners nursery outside peoria. we were all madly shopping our way through their 2 hostas huts when we discovered the a large number of their plants had foliar nematodes. upon bringing this to the owners attention we found out that some of her greenhouses were under quarantine also. she showed no apparent concern that her retail huts had the problem. we set down all our plants and left for home immediately. this post is a heads up for all of you who intend to trek to or order from conner's nursery. the illinois dept. of ag. has been contacted.

Hosta arrived in good shape and on time. They have a nice selection at good prices. This is the second year that I ordered from them and the hosta from last year look really good this year.
