Have been to this nursery several times in the past few years and cannot say enough good things about this nursery. The owners are knowledgable regarding their plant material (what a unique concept and rare these days!!!) and have a wonderful selection of sun plants, tropicals and shade plants. I think their selections of tropicals are a wonder to behold and I enjoy getting new and different plants for my pots every year. You will find the unusual and hard to find plants here, that's for sure.

I placed a spring 2007 order and the plants arrived in good shape and were healthy. Two basically minor complaints: (1) When the order arrived, I was surprised to see 3 plants not shipped and listed as out of stock. It would've been nice to have known about this on the front end, rather than 4+ weeks later. (2) Extremely finely shredded paper was used as a packing material, which made a mess all over my garage.

I ordered several plants from this company and was thrilled to receive plants that were large and healthy. One of them already had several blooms on it. Even my husband was impressed with the size and quality of the plants. All of the plants are thriving in my garden ,even with the 100 degree temps we had had the last week or so. I will be back to order again from this company!!!!

Wonderful experience with this nursery. Healthy beautiful plants. If you ever have a chance to visit in person I would encourage you to do so. Great place with great people!

I found Cottage Garden this year through a listing in a book naming the best garden centers in the Midwest. I went to their website, and found it easy to use, although I would have liked more photographs. My workaround was to read the description of a plant I liked, then search the Internet for a photo.

The plants I ordered all arrived in excellent condition, and were terrific. I was especially pleased with the salvia 'Hot Lips', the alternanthera 'Party Time', and the cupheas. I will definitely order from them again next year.

For the third year in a row, Cottage Garden\'s plants have been the best of the dozen or mail orders I have placed. While so many other companies sent me wimpy little plants in dried-out soil, Cottage Garden\'s plants were HUGE, healthy, and potted up in plenty of good moist soil to ensure their safe arrival. These folks are really champions!

Nice sized plants which arrived in good shape. Plant prices are good and shipping prices were good as well. Recommend.

I placed my first order with Cottage Garden rather late last season. They faxed me to let me know two items were out of stock, and what they did send was in good condition and grew well. I was very pleased with my order and am eagerly awaiting this year's catalogue. The only thing is, they desperately need a better webmaster - in Netscape, at least, the website is rather a mess. (Haven't checked it in Internet Exploder.)
