I have ordered from Floral and Hardy since the year they opened as a mail order company. I have ordered daylilies, hostas and heucheras. I think the service is wonderful and the plants have always been healthy. I will continue ordering from them.

This is the third year that I've purchased daylilies (mainly) and hostas from Betty. She has always provided me with great customer service and answered emails quickly when I've had questions regarding certain cultivars. My orders have all arrived on time and been in excellent condition and done very well in my gardens.

This year the daylily catalogue has increased dramatically in size making it even harder to choose a manageable number of plants! But the website has also been updated to provide customers with the ability to set up an account that includes a "wish list" category, which is a great help when you're trying to make final ordering decisions!! :-)

Betty is definitely a down to earth gardener herself. She has walked our garden clogs, she understands what TC and HVX stands for.

Third year ordering from this company, great selection of daylilies and hostas!

I'm so addicted to dayliles that I already have reserved order for 2009! Yikes!

What a difference a year makes! Last year was the first year for the new owners and at that time they were overwhelmed with orders and were brand new at the mail order game. My order last year left a lot to be desired with regards to packaging. The customer service, however was top notch and I decided to try them again this year.

I'm so glad I did! I was very happy with my order and the size of the heucheras was 5 times they were last year. They were well packaged and arrived in healthy condition.

I received my Hosta & Daylily order exactly when I was expecting it and the plants are in great condition & health. I would certainly order from them again. Pre-order correspondence was great and informative as well.

I have ordered from this company the past two years. The plants are shipped bare root and of course are labeled. She has a large variety of daylilies and hostas for sale. She also has a large selection of heucheras, heucherllas and tiarellas. The prices are very good. The plants I have ordered and received are of good quality and healthy.

In 2006 I ordered daylilies and hostas. It was a very wet spring and the orders were shipped out quite late simply because it was too wet to get out into the fields to get the plants. The plants were planted in June and all thrived. Being like most gardeners (impatient) I wished the order had came earlier. This was not the fault of the company just one of those wet springs and for those who have clay soils you know the problems a wet spring will cause.

In 2007, I ordered additional daylilies , hostas and a double bell flower. One substituion was made (which was agreed to prior to shipment). If you do not want substitutions the owner respects this as well.

For both years, the daylilies (double fans) arrived in healthy, good shape. The same for the Hostas and the bellflower. She sends a bonus plant (which she selects) out with the order.

She has good prices on her asiatic lilies too. I don't order asiatics lilies anymore due to the area I live in having a large lily beetle population and I am a hunt and squish person when it comes to bugs. I am presently replacing my lilies with daylilies which are not bothered by the beetles.

I will continue to order from this company.

I sent an order to this company late in the season; received the hostas a little more than two weeks later in spite of miserable weather there and a shared hopelessly slow postal system. All the plants were in topnotch condition, and a very nice size for the money. A great selection to keep me coming back for more, I've already placed a spring order and am only agonizing overhow many more I can add.

Terrific corrrespondents too -- I really can't recommend this company enough.

I have purchased daylilies, asiatic lilies, hostas and various perennials from Betty at Floral and Hardy. The plants are all so eager to grow that some daylilies, stored in earth in cardboard boxes until I could get them planted, grew right threw the box! All the plants have set well and started showing new growth quickly.

Betty is a great source of information for a "budding" gardener like myself.

Great place to do business and learn.

I have not purchased from this company - I just receive their montly e-newletter which is very informative.

This company has a new owner and has moved. The e-newsletter is just as good as before and the new owner knows the previous owner well; so it is hopeful that their good service will continue.

Have been a customer for several years, and pleased each time. Their prices are very reasonable and offer a discount if you order a certain amount. On one occassion a plant was mislabeled and they were very quick and pleasant to correct the situation. They reply quickly to emails and very customer oriented.

Purchased daylilies from them last year. All the scapes were large and bloomed this year. I'll have to divide them for sure next year! Really pleased!
