Let me just say immediately that I highly recommend Parkland Perennials. Bob Yaremko is a delight. I originally contacted him because I was seeking a peony that is not available in the United State - Cornelia Shaylor. Bob very graciously agreed to ship one to me, warning me about the $15 phytosanitary certificate. As I looked through his offerings, and told a friend about them, our order expanded to 10 peony roots and 6 lily bulbs. The peonies came yesterday, and they are outstanding. Large and fresh, with lots of eyes. They are also very easy to plant, unlike peonies with very vertical structure (eyes way at the top and a large root at the bottom). Bob's peonies are quite horizontal, so that you do not have to dig deep holes to get them in. I have found that the vertical structure leads to root rot and plant loss, so I was very pleased.
My friend ordered six martagons, and not only were they very reasonably priced, but they were very large. I have never seen martagons that size.
So despite the extra fees, I will be back. Bob's offerings are just too good to pass up.On March 25th, 2014, DonnaMack added the following:
Here I am in late March, the season after planting Bob's peonies, as well as others from other companies, and I am very impressed that Bob's appear to be the earliest pips emerging, even before my more mature ones. An excellent sign.On June 7th, 2014, DonnaMack added the following:
And now, in early June, Bob's peonies are beginning to bloom. First year peonies, and they all have huge buds and I can see that they are true to name. I received the wrong peony from another company - indeed, over time I have received the wrong peony from three different ones.
He is now at the top of my peony list. His plants are just superb.

When the 3 peony roots I had ordered , Laura Dessert, Festiva Maxima, and Athelstane arrived, all I could say was "Wow!" Huge, firm, many-eyed roots--perfect. I enthusiastically recommend this company, and will dig up more lawn to accommodate more peonies next year.
Last fall and this spring I ordered lilies from Parkland Perennials. I was very pleased with my order because all bulbs came in big and healthy and even some bulbs came as two joined together. I highly recommend Parkland Perennials for lily purchases. Thank you very much Mr. Yaremko for your excellent service and product.
The order that I recieved from Parkland Perennials this fall was my most pleasing order of the year. The peony roots that I ordered were amazingly huge.. The lilies were a nice size as well. I will be placing another order with them next year. Thanks Bob.

I went out to Bob's location this summer and Bob took the time to show me around his nursery pointing out his favorites and the qualities of each peony. I ordered a dozen peonies from Bob and received very large roots in excellent condition this fall. I'm looking forward to seeing the plants next spring.
Great lily Bulbs. I ordered this fall, 2005, and asked to have the bulbs shipped early to Alaska. MR. YAREMKO was kind enough to do just that. He emailed me on the date he shipped. If the bulbs weren't large (most were and some even splitting so I got two) he sent two. He has a great selection and some not available anywhere else. I would certainly order again.
I ORDERED 2 DIVISIONS OF CLAIRE DE LUNE FROM MR. YAREMKO THIS PAST FALL .
NOT ONLY WERE THEY A GENEROUS SIZE WITH MANY EYES , THE 2 OF THEM TOGETHER WERE THE SAME PRICE AS I PAID FOR A SCRAWNY DIVISION FROM ANOTHER NURSERY THE YEAR BEFORE!!!!
AND I GATHERED FROM MANY COMMENTS AT THE PEONY SHOW IN OTTAWA IN JUNE THAT OTHER PEONY LOVERS FELT THE SAME. THAT'S WHY I SOUGHT HIM OUT LAST FALL.

I've been at Parkland Perennials several times now, and must say I am pleased with the products and am impressed with Bob Yaremko's professionalism.
BTW, his website is under construction: http://www.parkland-perennials.com
I have ordered plants and bulbs from Parkland Perennials for a few years and I am always thrilled with my purchases. They have an impressive selection at outstanding prices. I have always recieved large roots and bulbs, often including a bonus plant or bulb. If I have a question or concern, they have promptly returned my call and encouraged me to call any time with any further questions. For quality, price, service and selection, I give Parkland Perennials a 10/10!!
Have always ordered my lilies from Parkland. Almost 200 of the largest lily bulbs you could find. Have even sold me some while they were still undergoing trials. Highly recommended.

I have ordered many peonies from this company for the last 10 years and every time the plants are very large ( the minimum 3 eyes)healthy and grow well. I also have ordered lilies and they too arrived in excellent condition.
