|I placed an order late last year for a spring delivery. When I didn't hear anything, I emailed them (twice) but got no answer. I called the number on my credit card bill but got only a recorded message with their store hours. It appears they have gone out of business and taken my money with them!
On June 23rd, 2006, mholmgren changed the rating from negative to neutral and added the following:
I'm changing my rating to neutral because I finally got my money back. After I left the negative rating here they emailed me that they were canceling my order! And again my email went unanswered. So I can't evaluate the plants but their customer service could be improved.

|I ordered a little late in the season, because I just found out about this company. Very excellent plants! I was also very impressed with their customer service. Some of what I ordered was out of stock and they e-mailed me to let me know they updated their list. I picked out the rest of my plants,got quick delivery and I just got them in the ground this weekend. I will definitly order from them again.

|I hadn't heard from this company since I placed my order back in July. I e-mailed twice, they said they only got my last one, and they responded rapidly to it. I felt the plants should have been here by now, or I should have received some sort of notice as to their arrival. They apologized to me, offered me a full refund and a box of free plants anyway. If they keep up their end of the bargin with the refund, I will be happy. If they send me the plants, I'll be ecstatic, and sure to order from them next time.Only wish they were better about their e-mails. As for the plants, I will let you know when they arrive.
On October 19th, 2005, TuddyE changed the rating from neutral to positive and added the following:
Well they gave me a refund for my plants minus the shipping charges, but they sent me a flat of plants anyway! Great customer relations on their part, I will be a new customer for them next year, since the plants were large and healthy. I would expect to pay at least 3 times the amount they charge for these, yet I got them just because they didn't send my order as expected. It is getting late to plant, and I wish they had been sent sooner, or the origninal e-mail answered...but for postage of $11, I have a flat of plants to put in and take a chance on them making it. Not bad. They are a little slow on responding, but when they do, they really try to make things right. That's better than a whole lot of companies.

|I just got my first plants from Dollar Plants. I am VERY pleased and you can't beat the price!!! The plants are in great shape. I will be shopping here often.

|I received live, good sized plants, but they were somewhat root bound. Of the thirty-two plants I ordered, three died after planting, but they were alive when I received them. Customer service is difficult to connect with. I will probably order again from them.

|I bought $75 worth of plants from Dollar Plants and everyone of them is growing beautifully. The plants were well packed, heathy and a little larger than I expected. I will be buying from them again. JWLaw1
