The scoop on 'Iris Sisters Farm'

This was my first order of beareded iris. After researching which varieties might stand up to Louisiana heat and humidity, I researched who had what I wanted and placed good-size orders with five different companies who were highly rated here. I have received all the orders now, and I can say without hesitation that Iris Sisters has a great selection of beautiful, healthy rhizomes at very reasonable prices. Robin communicated with me every step of the way, offered wonderful advice on which varieties would perform well in my climate, provided planting and culture info, and has encouraged me to participate in the Reblooming Iris Society, for which she is a record-keeper. You won't find a better informed vendor... or one who gives more generously of her help and encouragement. I received healthy, clean, well labeled, well packaged rhizomes with plenty of lovely bonus iris that I'm certain were selected with care to perform well here. Overall, I can say my purchase from Iris Sisters (and specifically Robin) was extremely pleasant and positive. I will definitely be a repeat customer. A+++

I ordered my own iris way back in April, and somehow the order got lost. I didn't notice myself until September. I wrote to Robin, and asked her for a refund, because I figured it was too late to plant iris at this point, but I also told her that I did plan to order from her again next spring.

Robin immediately sent me a very kind and apologtic email, promising a refund. Today the refund check arrived--along with the iris order! I don't know if they will establish themselves before winter or not, but it's costing me nothing to find out.

This is old-fashioned service, the way business was intended to be. I can't recommend her highly enough. Honesty like this should be richly rewarded.

Ordered nine irises. very good communication, e-mailed me the day it shipped, and told me as soon as i placed my order the approx. shipping time. I recieved a lot of great bonuses that were similar to what i had ordered (frag, reblooming, Zone 4). Very nice lady, good size healthy plants. Great prices. I couldn't be more thrilled than I am with this nursery. Robin is friendly and helpful. The fans I ordered arrived in beautiful condition, large and healthy. I also had a very generous and varied amount of bonuses to try -- truly Christmas in July! I will be back for more next year.

Wow! I ordered late on Friday, and had my iris in my mailbox on Monday. I live close, but that was still faster than I could have hoped! She also included lots of extras. Very generous seller, and will definitely order from this company again since they offer such healthy rhizomes and good customer service.

I ordered quite a few irises from this company's website. It was at the very end of their season before the deadline, so I was concerned about quality as this sometimes means you get undersized leftovers. However, all of the irises were good sized and the owner put in many extras, marked with their name and 'xtra'. I found room for all of them and they are doing very well, sprouting rapidly and looking great. I'm really looking forward to seeing them in the spring! Nice company, I would highly recommend them to anyone.
