I ordered two plants on May 14, 2007 for my father's birthday at the end of May. By May 30 (his birthday), he had not received the order, although my credit card was billed two weeks ago. The phone number on my credit card statement is invalid. They have no phone number on their web site. Don't order from these people--they still suck.
I have had a terrible experience with this company. I ordered the Hibiscus of the month club 1/2006 thinking it would be a good deal by saving 10%. I received an email that my order was being processed. After a month and not receiving my order I decided to respond with an email. I received a canned message that they were under new management and that they would reply in 24 hours. A few days later I received an email that my order was shipping. I received my order and it was in fairly good shape & healthy.
Mean while February goes by and by mid March I have not received any monthly orders. So I email. Once again get the canned message. After a few day I receive an email informing me that my order was be shipped for the two months and that they had fixed the problem and I would be getting regular shipments after that. The order arrived - plants were ok.
Then the month of April goes by and by mid May I have not received any orders. Thinking they would ship bi-monthly. So once again I send email and once again I get the canned reply under new management. This time I wait days and never receive a response. So I send another email and after a few days get a response my order was shipping. This time when I got my order one plant was normal but the other was much smaller like a starter plant. By this time I was getting frustrated and decided I would let it slide since I have a pretty green thumb and in a matter of weeks it would be large and healthy.
Well now it's mid July and I have not received my June or July orders. I have sent several emails and only get the canned response. So I guess I am out the other 7 plants I have already paid for.
I would advise anyone considering buying a hibiscus plant to check around at any local green house first and if you buy online make sure they are reputable with a good phone number to call. Also if you have never purchased from them before buy only one plant at a time at first so if you are taken to the cleaners you are not out as much, also stay away from Strictly Hibiscus I get the impression they are not a very well managed company and may soon be going out of business.
I ordered 4 hibiscus from these guys and they are wonderful. The plants arrived in perfect shape and 2 have flowered already since they got here 4 days ago. I dealt with Jason as well, he is the new owner, and he was very quick to respond and kept me informedon my order. Which arrived in less then a week! All around a great experience, I would recommend Stictly Hibiscus to anyone out there that is looking for great plants. They guarantee all their plants from shipping issues as well, which is great.
This company is under new ownership and are actually filling their orders! Over a year ago, I had a bad experience where part of my order arrived late with one plant looking OK, one plant was diseased and the last plant which was supposed to be sent to another address never arrived. All my emails and calls were ignored until a few days ago when I thought I would send one last email. Jason (who I think is the new owner) is sending me a replacement plant even though he did not own the company at the time because as he said " I'm trying to do whatever I can to bring people back and show them we do not do business like that anymore. I hope you enjoy the new plant and I apologize for your past experience." He is sending me a Petra Hibiscus. Also he responds to emails within one day (quite a contrast as compared to the previous owner). Thanks Jason.

I have not ordered from this company, but from reading the other feedback, I see that they do order from themselves and have gotten great service, what a hoot!
I ordered 4 live hibiscus plants approximately 3 weeks ago from strictlyhibiscus.com. I was kind of sketched out by the online ordering proceedure, which did not indicate it was a safe transaction, and the rinky dink receipt i received as an email, as well as the strange flat rate shipping for all orders. I should have called the phone number first, but didn't because it was long distance. The number is disconnected, and I have received no response to the many emails I sent. No plants still, and now the weather is starting to freeze most nights, so I guess I'm out of luck. hope my credit card # didn't fall into the wrong hands. I still hope this company will contact me and send my plants but I would warn others to be wary of this website.
On June 8th 2004 I placed an order for 16 plants. Not only have I not received the plants but the company does not respond to my phone calls or emails inquiring as to why the order has not been shipped. Looks like I have been ripped off. Now I will need to go through the hassle of petitioning my credit card company for a reversal!
I ordered a single plant for a friend in Texas for his sister's funeral. After several weeks with the plant not showing up, I called the company. They were most helpful. They tracked down the problem and did everything they could to resolve the situation. In the mean time, the plant was deliverd, in great shape and just as pretty as could be. I was most impressed with the helpfulness of the employees and the time they took with me. If I ever have the need to order again, I will definitely use this company. Cheryl Meola, Project Manager, definitely knows the improtance of customer relations and practices it at all times!

Order 10 Hibiscus. They were all in outstanding shape. They had been package very well. They were very timely in the shipping. I'm very pleased.
I can say without a doubt that based on my dealings with Strictly Hibiscus you cannot go wrong by doing business with them!
In fact two of the hibiscus I order came in larger pots than I paid for. They sent to me bigger plants rather than back order these two! Now that is service.

I ordered 10 different hibiscus on Sunday and by Wednesday my plants had arrived. They were packaged well and in good condition. They also have free shipping. As their name states, they only sell hibiscus and hibiscus products. I would order from this company again without hesitation.
