June 22, 2009 | When I received my order of violets I felt like crying--they promised 2.5" pots, I received 2" pots with very, very tiny violets. I am hoping they survive they're so small. Some were decent sized. I emailed them and they asked what they could do.
I asked they reimburse me $25 because half the order was not what was advertised on their web site--2 l/2" pots. To-date they have not sent the money or larger violets. I will never order from Violet Gallery again--too many other really great places to order. This was
my first order and last order from them. |

August 03, 2008 | This is the second time I ordered from VG since June 2008. They ship good-sized, healthy, pest-free violets, many with buds and blooms.
And what gorgeous varieties!
I placed my order via the phone. The woman I spoke with was pleasant, helpful and patient.

October 04, 2006 | I really like the quality of their plants. While you can get violets elsewhere cheaper, these are big blooming size plants. I almost always pot mine up to 4" pots right away. I have an Aly's Key Lime from them that was already fabulous - blooming and BIG.
The plants are healthy.
They are also just nice people to deal with!
I got one fantasy violet that sported and went solid, and they very nicely offered to replace it (I debudded it and am waiting to see if it blooms solid again on the second blooming).
Their catalog is extensive and they stock some more unusual violets.
I highly recommend them! |
