|Never deal with this owner of this company. I ordered a magazine subscription from him. They charged my chargecard, but no magazine ever arrived. I finally contacted them. There is no more magazine, they failed to tell me that or refund my money. Now he is ignoring me. But he has 71.oo dollars of my money. I find most garden people in the industry to be honest, but I've run across one that isn't. From what I hear, I am not the only one who cannot get their money back!

Well, here it is Feb 2007. Nothing has changed. So, I have come to the conclusion that this man never intends to return what is owed me. What he doesn't realize is that I am on the lecture circuit in the USA, so I have a large forum of garden enthusiest that want to hear what I have to say.. sorry for him. Again, we need to band together as a group and hurt these crooks where it hurts the most,.. in the pocketbook. So again I advise noone to go to this man website or download his magazine.

Hi ..... I am the owner of PLANTS magazine / AQUILEGIA PUBLISHING and have been for more than 12 years.
In this time I have had more than 40,000 satisfied customers .. very satisfied customers, on three or four occassions when service has not been the utmost, I have always gone out of my way to rectify it .. often at my own expense.
In the past year I have had the most horendous experiences at the hands of so-called web developers, and, just when I thought I was managing to get a grip with my business again after dropping turnover by more than 90% in less than 6 months, my web developer went bust .. he has disappeared along with his staff, my website, my customer details, all my orders and my backup too believe it or not .. read all about it on the homepage of my new site which has just 14 pages at the moment compared to more than 700 just 7 weeks ago.
There have been problems because of these awful expereinces but AT ALL TIMES I have been available on my original e-mail address and published phone number, but I stress that there are some original orders that were NOT fulfilled because I have no access or reference to them, and a few others that were caught up in the original debacle that were never resolved one way or the other.
I am ALWAYS happy to hear from 'disgruntled' customers so that I can try and rectify their own problems, and if I still owe some former customers than I WILL re-imburse them eventually when all this mess is cleared up.
I am not a corporation, only an individual whose passion for new garden plants from around the world propelled him into a world of publishing - which I did for 12 years in my 'spare' time.
PLANTS magazine became THE worldwide reference publication and website for new garden plant introductions and has a wonderful legacy ... and I'm determined over the coming months to re-instate the website to it's original state.
I have had WONDERFUL support from many hundreds of supporters who have asked that remaining subscriptions be put into getting the PLANTS website back on its feet.
If I have failed a few customers, I am eternally sorry but maintain that all will be refunded if you give me time ... I did not go bust and I did not do a 'runner' ....I am an honourable person.

... so sorry you still feel that way after my comments here and on my website. I have nothing at all to be ashamed of and much to be proud of ..... and it has been a very, very difficult time in my life, and none of it has been of my making I'm afraid.
If you revealed yourself to me .. I have no Queenbee2 in any e-mail sent to me .... I would be more than happy to speak with you directly rather than having you slag me off in public.
I return from France on 26th August (I leave in 3 hours) please send me an e-mail directly and I will contact you on my return - and will be more than happy to refund your monies with interest and a full collection of all available print issues of my magazine.
I'm so sorry you believe that I speak only hogwash......
