I am very disappointed with my dealings with Cooper Seed. Just try calling their toll free number. I've called for three days and all I get is a referral to contact them via e-mail. I was given an option to leave a message and I did. I have yet to received a reply. Nor have I received a reply to my e-mails regarding the extra charges I did not approve.
This is not to mention they charged me extra freight on my order of which I did not give approval to do so.
I ordered products from Coopers Seeds / AntsBGone on 6/26/2009 and paid for priority (2-3 day) shipping. At no point did the company tell me they were not going to ship my items out on time.
Today (7/6/2009), I called to ask why the product had not arrived and was told it was shipping out today. They stated they had vacation all last week--a fact that would have kept me from ordering from them--and therefore were not shipping.
It's my opinion that you should save your money and buy from a company that communicates with it's customers in a proactive manner and gets products to your door within a reasonable amount of time.
Buy with complete confidence. Old style, family-owned business with old style customer service. My order shipped quickly with more than adequate (or usual) communication. Lowest price, highest service.

I ordered a "Dustin Mizer" for applying garden dusts like diatomaceous earth, BT powder, etc. The delivery was fast, the product was what I expected, and the price and shipping costs were reasonable. I'll try them for my fall-crop seeds this year. The order included an auto-response showing the form processed correctly, a response from a person showing they were working the order, and a shipping message with tracking status.

I have not placed an order yet this year at Cooper Seeds. Last year I planted California blackeye pea Seeds from another company and about 1/3 of the seeds germinated. My brother purchased California Blackeye seeds from Cooper seeds in bulk last year. He gave some of his extra seeds to fill in where mine did not come in. WOW ! Everyone of the seeds came up and filled in where the the others did not. I talked to Cooper Seeds and they said the reason they all came up was they were "Fresh Seeds" from that year NOT last years seeds. I can't wait until the seeds are available for purchase this spring. I check everyday to see if they are ready yet. I plan on planting more than twice the area previous with California Black-eye peas this year.
I am very impressed with the seeds and I have not even purchased any yet.
I've ordered several items from Cooper Seeds and I've always had a good experience. Good prices, fast shipping and no hassle. With so many bad vendors out there, the good ones like these guys need to be recognized and appreciated.
Ordered some egyptian wheat to use as a road screen on our hunting property. I was SHOCKED at how quickly the order arrived. I have not compared prices, but based upon order speed and quality I would order from Cooper Seed again, and plan to do so for some food plot seed later this Spring.
Sorry, my experience is negative. Called after 10 days to see what the status of my order is and got told that it is not their fault that the shipment went out 8 days after the order because they thought that the item was in stock and that the manufacturer didn’t let them not know of a manufacturing problem. After the initial e-mail "Thank you for the order" I did NOT received any information. Would have not rated them negative if they had send me an e-mail to notify me about a possible delivery delay. If you order from Cooper Seeds please make sure to follow up to avoid a situation like this. The good think what came out of this is that I found this wonderful “The Garden Watchdog” web page.

We found a wonderful birdhouse at Cooperseeds.com and their prices are the lowest I could find online! Very fast delivery. Highly recommend.
My husband and I were fortunate enough to locate the Yankee Flipper Birdfeeder at Cooperseeds.com. The gentleman I spoke to was extremely helpful and friendly; he delivered the birdfeeder promptly and even included a card with the item! We had checked around for this feeder so we were surprised by the more than reasonable price that Cooperseeds was asking. Even with shipping costs, this was a much better deal than what was available locally. We highly recommend Cooperseeds.com to anyone wanting a great shopping experience.
I thought I had placed an order by e-mail but had forgotten to click on send. I called to see why no delivery. I was informed that they had not received it. I then placed the order again and accidently sent it twice. I received a phone call to check not only how many orders I intended but there was also a question about my zip code. Even then another call to double check my address. Not many companies would go to that much effort to satisfy a cusomers needs as Cooper did.
Two years ago I ordered clover seed from Coopers seeds. Some where in the postal service my shippment was lost,I called Coopers and told them what happened, they sent me another order, they didn't know me but trusted what I told them.
The other day I called asking about Honey Suckle sprigs, I receivied an answer in just a few minutes.
Coopers Seeds will get my businees from now on.

This is an answer to Stonebird's negative comment about our Company. We order in advance so we will not run out of merchandise. We were told our flea pads would be shipped the following day. A week later the person over shipping said they had not arrived. We called the manufacture and they said they had a equipment failure and were doing the best they could. That was good enough for us. We did not talk to the young lady on the other end of the phone in the manor Stonebird talk to our employee. The empolyee then turned the phone over to me. I got on the phone and told her (Stonebird) we were very sorry and were doing the best we could; we were only human. She talked in an angry manor and said she would shop else where and that was it. Her order was on its way to her as she and I spoke.
Our parents raised us to be nice and we are very sorry she didn't have the same experience.
