Monday- Ordered product- $150+
Tuesday - Money cleared from my bank- Email with tracking info- tracking info invalid
Wed- Called- Voicemail
Thurs- (Lots of meetings, too busy to check)
Friday- called numerous amount of times, emailed- they have until 3:00 today to call, email or whatever they can do to let me know about my order!
Their office hours are 10am-7pm mon-fri (they havent answered /or called back from my message that I left.)
Will change my experience (Positive-Negative) depending on customer service, if theres any. Will be contacting BBB if matter turns for the worse. JUST GIVE YOUR CUSTOMERS SOME TYPE OF INFORMATION!

|Horrible company! Total lack of business ethics as well as knowledge about their own products! Ordered from them and never got it so I called to cancel they said they would refund my money and then a month later I still am fighting to get my money back! Buyer beware!

|I've ordered from this company for two years. In that time, I've had problems with 75% of the orders. The problems range from severe back orders (5 months) with no updates from customer service, delayed shipment, missing items, damaged items etc. It's hard to imagine a retailer doing a poorer job than Futuregarden. Customer service's computers are frequently down, so when you call to inquire about your items they can't help you. If they tell you "we'll ship it today" don't believe them; they forget and it will be up to you to call them to remind them. The company never sends out UPS tracking numbers so you have no idea if your order has been processed etc. etc.
I no longer order from them. Any company can make mistakes, but Futuregarden is poorly managed and can't get it's act together.

I placed an order with Future Garden on May 25. Order was never shipped. Called again 10 days later, they told me they didn't know why order wasn't shipped. Said it would ship that day. Contacted them through their web page 4 days later to check status of order, No response. Called again, order was never shipped, they said because my address didn't match credit card. Supposedly fixed, and shipped.Who Knows?!?!? Asked to speak to manager. They said they would have her call me this afternoon. No call back. Today is June 17, still no product, looking at additional 7-10 days to receive. A month or more to deliver products?
This company SUCKS!! I've filed complaint with Better Business Bureau.
Don't order from these jerks unless you want to get ripped off.
On June 25th, 2010, scurtish1 changed the rating from negative to neutral and added the following:
After 3 phone calls, a complaint to the BBB and a letter to the President of Future Garden, I finally received a call from the President. He apologized for the problems, and shipped what I ordered. I received my order exactly 1 month to the day from when I ordered it. 6/25/2010.

|Decent products, terrible company.
I placed an order two weeks ago and it just shipped today. Supposedly the product in question was on backorder, but they didn't even let me know. They don't respond to emails or phone calls.
I would spend significantly more shopping elsewhere to avoid buying from them again. This has been among the worst online buying experiences I have ever had.

|I placed many orders with futuregarden one with briteideas that came from futuregarden although thier in new york and i'm in pa my shipping has always arrived the next day
i had one order screwed up order consisted of hydroton and they sent me peralite twice and they got it right the third time and sent me thier three pack of nutrient with the correct order never had to send the perlite back either time
order a quad autopot kit from brite ideas it came from futuregarden the resivor was totally wrong , although i didn't complain because i didn't need it but, but maybe that could have ended as a bad experience

|I had to laugh when I read the comment below... Not because it was funny, but because I went through the same thing, but worse with Futuregarden. I placed a relatively substantial order with their site around the same timeframe as the person who left the comment below. Long story short, it was the absolute WORST experience I have had with any company EVER. I am not exaggerating at all. This company treated me so poorly throughout the entire process. I even spoke to the company founder at one point about the status of my order and it quickly became evident why I was going through what I was going through. The point is, this company does not value their customers and does not treat them with the respect that they deserve. Please do business elsewhere. - JF

|I placed an order about a week ago. Two days after placing the order I received a shipping confirmation e-mail but no tracking number. I have had to call four days in a row for a tracking number and when they finally gave me one yesterday...low and behold it comes up as invalid on the shipping company's website. Plus they have every single excuse in the book on why they can't help me:
1.) I have to call my warehouse
2.) Our system is down.
3.) I am on the phone with tech support.
4.) The person who handles this dept is away.
I WILL NEVER USE FUTUREGARDEN AGAIN!!!

|I suppose I should be upset, but I will wait to see what happens. I placed an order a week before valentines day and was told that it would arrive before the holiday. I was told all the parts are in and that it would be going out that afternoon and that I would receive an order tracking number. I called three days after vantines day and was told that it would be going out today and that they would call me back to give me a order and tracking number. Still two days later and I have yet to receive a call or package. If not received by the end of this week. This nuetral response will be negative, however for the time I will remain on the fence and give them the benifit of the doubt.

|I placed a large order and recieved all in a timely fashion. Was curious about one items use and called them. Got right thru to an exec. who answered my question without having to transfer me. I'm very pleased with them and am placing another order today. There prices are in line with most places I have researched. I recommend them highly and will definately be a return customer when necessary.

|I received my ultra-peat very quickly after calling the company and getting an apology from the person who answered the phone. Apparently some orders paid with Paypal were not showing up for them. Neal looked for my order and called back a few minutes later saying he found the order and was processing it immediately. Also answered some questions for me about the product. That was a Monday and I had it on Friday. He was more upset about the misplaced order than I was. I'd sure give them another try.

|Placed a large order with them >$250. Order took well over a week to get to me (NY to VA!). One item was missing, it took another week to get to me after I called to complain. No emails regarding shipping details and tracking number, I had to call then. I will not be using them again.
