| Positive | zjhackett Glendale, AZ (3 reviews) February 29, 2012 | Terrific experience. Ordered Plumeria, Yellow Dragon Fruit, Dwarf Namwah Banana, and Blueberry (Sunshine Blue Southern Highbush) back in November (2011) from their botanicalgrowers.com site. Plants were bigger than expected for price. All received in great condition, and all plants were carefully packaged. They did ship it a week later than expected which resulted in package sitting in transit over a holiday weekend, but it was packaged so well that the mild Phoenix weather didn't cause any damage. All plants have already broken hibernation, and banana and dragon fruit have already doubled in size. Will definitely order again. |
| Positive | pzgb888 Hampton, FL (1 review) May 24, 2011 | I purchased some plants from these guys this year (2011) and all I can say is WOW! Plants all came in larger than what I expected and packed in the coolest peanuts I've ever gotten (they were totally bidegradable and melted in water...after a little reaserch on the web I found out they were EDIBLE! so no worries about my puppy chasing them around the floor) I will totally buy from this company again. Their site was very well thought out and the plants were very nice, plus the packing was considerate. |

Agave Attenuata
"Spineless Octopus"
VERY RARE, COLD TOLERANT AND UNUSUAL! Agave Attenuata Octopus- Also known as the "Dragon-Tree" or "Spineless" Agave, this strikingly beautiful succulent forms a trunk as it ages, reaching as much as 3 feet tall. Attenuatas flower spike is a thing of wonder, growing as much as 22 feet high and will either produce greenish yellow flowers or small plantlets, on its' entire length. This beautiful species produces leaves as it matures up to 5 feet long that are a grey / green, spineless on the margins and rather narrow at the base, wide in the center, and tapering to a soft point. Attenuata appreciates a richer, more moist soil than most agaves and flourishes in partial shade as well as full sun. An amazing plant for both indoors and out, adding a distinctive touch to any room or garden.
This agave is approximately 18" in diameter when shipped from the grower.
Hurry these feature plants sell out fast!
