Bruce and Suzi Ironmonger run this company out of their back yard and they have a lot of land to work with. They were relatively new to cycads until about 10 years ago but have made huge progress in such a short time it's amazing. Not only do they have a huge selection of plants, they have many species not found anywhere else. Their specialty is in Australian cycads and some of those species are not only rare, but spectacular. They have been experimenting with field grown cycads and with some tremendous results... some plants have gone from small seedlings to landscape specimens in a matter of a few years, needing a tractor or large truck to help get them out of the nursery.. They have traveled extensively around the globe, not only to Australia many times, but also to China and have a lot of rare Chinese cycads that are simply stunning. THey have also been to South Africa and are very active in the cycad societies. You will great friendly, great service from these folks. And if you live in California, you really need to visit their nursery- quite impressive!
