August 18, 2005 | Bulldog Cactus Ranch has to be the best place to get beautiful cactuses and succulents, hands down. I've made multiple purchases from Jeff and his plants are consistently and obviously well-tended. Getting a package from BCR is always like Christmas. Although based in California he still gets plants safely sent all the way to the east coast in 3 business days via USPS priority mail. Plants are always shipped in pot for less stress.
Wonderful selection of rare and unsual plants including pachypodium menabeum and other fascinating species from Madagascar. He also has a great potting mix for succulents available. I'm a succulent newbie and he's been very helpful and informative with care and cultivation. Get your light setup ready for these green beauties. Once you get one of his plants you'll probably want more. :)
