Mr. Howard was extremely helpful and I received the most beautiful, healthy plants ever!!!! I planted my plants and in less than 10 days I have new healthy growth and they are already starting to sprout new sprouts/growth. I am fairly new to collecting, but in 6 years I have never seen anything like these before!!! Thanks Mr. Howard!!!

I found CT Daylilies by reading feedback from Dave's Garden. Rich Howard is a true pleasure to deal with. Communication is excellent. The fans are good size and were healthy when they arrived. Will highly recommend this seller and have done so with my daylily friends.

I am lucky enough to be in driving distance to this nursery. All the other remarks are true,,,this is a fun place to visit and a bit overwhelming. If you don't find something you want, then you are simply too picky! Those plants in the ground are dug on site, and Rich is extremely generous. For example, the price of one of my selections was 2 fans for $15.00, and Rich dug me up a clump of 5 fans! Prices range from $8.00 or so to $200.00. Of particular interest to me were the large island beds of Rich's own seedlings. These are sometimes sold on a case by case basis.

I have not had to do mail order, but I saw neatly staked plants that were ready to go. My guess is this phase of the operation is handled in an extremely professional manner, like everything else.

So, if you live in Connecticut, Massachusetts or Eastern New York, I STRONGLY recommend that you visit "Daylily Heaven" in the next couple of weeks, while the plants are still in bloom. That way you know exactly what you are getting.

Overall, I would give CTDAYLILY an 11 out of 10!

I've ordered daylilies from other sites, but never knew what really excellent product was until I ordered from Rich Howards CTDaylily. Not only was I impressed with his personal service and depth of knowledge, but during the
busiest time of year, he took time to answer my questions and followed up to be sure I was satisfied with every order. As for the bonus plants....? Just one
word - WOW! No run of the mill, back lot discards - but
superior selection and quality all the way.

I have just recently purchased from Rich on the Lily Auction and can say that he is true to his word, both in quality and quantity of the plants and seeds that I have purchased from him. He must have a great soil and feeding program because his plants are extremely healthy. He always sends more than expected. I will definately continue to do busines with RIch.

I had the opportunity of dropping by in person to see Richard Howard. He was very courteous and knowledgeable with all the questions I had.
I took home 7 new plants that were blooming. I bought an un- named spider seedling that was fresh dug from his yard.
I would not hesitate to order by mail . They were very busy and took the time to make me feel welcome!

If you haven't had the opportunity of dealing with Richard Howard and CT Daylily then you are missing out on the best deal going! The plants are mature and healthy and his seed crosses are to die for. Bonus plants are the best selections. His selection is right down my alley! Rich goes ABOVE and BEYOND to make his customers happy! Not only is he knowledgeable about daylilies, his recommendations for cold hardy plants are excellent along with advice on growing them. He is TRULY one of the best out there HANDS DOWN! Rich will ALWAYS have my repeat business!

We highly recommend this seller. The absolutely brilliant daylillies were far and away the best we have received from any seller, large and healthy plants with generous bonus fans and plants. We have also bought seeds that were rapidly sent to us in the UK and were in prime condition. This is a seller that goes the extra mile to find and supply what you request with really excellent communication. The free phytosanitary certificate and excellent complete documentation made importing into the UK through plant inspection and customs easy and so we particularly recommend ctdaylilies to international buyers. We received the parcel in four days making the extra shipping cost very worthwhile.
