spoonlegs Cottage Grove, OR (Zone 8a) (1 review) February 21, 2014
Received some good, hard to find seeds. Most of the varieties I got had good germination, but some had zero or very low, weak germination (Szabadszalasi Millet, Halblange Parsnip, Watanabe burdock, Rampion, Capucijner Pea, and Cumin). Wondering if ships seed that is too old, without germ-testing first. Live plant shipped separately was strangely packaged and took 4 months to traverse the postal system (postmarked April, arrived August), dead on arrival. Conclusion: has some interesting, valuable, and hard-to-find varieties, but hit-and-miss on viability. Would buy from again only if it's something I really want and I can't get it from a more reliable source.
