I ordered, received and put together their two-foot triangular-framed grow light, and although it will probably be okay, it is a rather rickety affair made from cheap, knock-apart steel tubing, bent rods and swing chain held together with plastic clips. I honestly think I could come up with something better using masking tape and coat hangers. I got what I paid for, but I think I'll pay for a little bit higher quality next time.
Purchased 2 Shade Sails from Yardlover. When they arrived they were a horrifying flouresent yellow & orange! Their website did not state this!! Needless to say, I didn't want my newly renovated patio to look like a circus and contacted them to return the unopened items. They offered only to refund me $56 of my $80 spent! I was not receiving my S&H (understandable) and they charge a 15% restocking fee!! THE ITEMS ARE UNOPENED!!! I will NEVER order from them again!!!
I needed a lawn care product that I could not find in 3 stores I'd checked. After going on line I discovered Yardlovers.com and placed my order. The very next day I found the product at a Home Depot store for $8 a bottle less than they charged me. Since I'd bought 3 bottles, not to mention the astronomical shipping fee they charged I'd spent about $50 more than if I'd bought the products at Home Depot.
I called that same day to cancel the order and Brittney told me it was too late, nor would they give me any price break after telling them how much extra money they raped me for. You may think that's a harsh word, but it's not when you spend more than 1 minute talking to them. She had no customer service skills and was very defensive, not to mention a total smart alec.
When I got the product one bottle was faulty and would not spray, so I called back and Lindsey said she'd call me back with an answer. She never did, so 3 days later I (relunctantly) called them. Once again Lindsey answered and refused to refund any money for the product, nor would they replace it. She said "they "said to send back the bottle and they'd give me $5 for it. They even refused to send a shipping label. So they wanted me to spend $5 to send something back for a $5 refund.
If only I'd read the reviews I could have saved myself this expensive mistake. On top of that I had been treated like I was dirt. Too Bad seems to be their customer service motto. Once they get your money you are history. I understand the aggrivation the other bad review went through and after dealing with their disrespect I also vowed to alert the public. I, also, have alerted my credit card company.
SHOPPERS BEWARE. SPEND THE EXTRA LEG WORK AND FIND WHAT YOU WANT ELSEWHERE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT YARDLOVERS.

This was my first order with this company, and I could not be more pleased. I received my order confirmation promptly, followed shortly by my shipment notification. The two items I ordered were well priced, and shipped so quickly I was amazed. I would definitely order fromt this merchant again.
This is my first year starting out seeds using an artificial light source. Like many others, the idea of starting out by buying a big rack of lights for several hundred dollars was a bit intimidating so I went searching the internet for something for a first timer.
I found the Jump Start system, which is a nice metal rack with a single long light great for placing 2 of the 72 cell trays underneath. Perfect!
Except that everywhere I looked it ranged in price from 90 to 119 bucks! Then on yardlover.com, I found the exact same thing for 69 buckaroos. I bought one, got it a week later and it was exactly as described and not a cheap knock-off either. It was the correct one.
I liked it so much I bought another one a few weeks later. Again, I got it super fast....as in 3 days later.
Highly recommend them for fast and efficient service with very competitive prices on garden accessories!
I have ordered from them and found their customer service some of the most hopeful people around. I was able to coordinate a gift for my mother on the day of her birthday and got it mailed exactly on that day. The product was great and service was excellent.
I have also had great quality products delivered timely from thewinerackdepot.com, one of their many other sites.
I purchased several items from YardLover.com in April 2008. About a week later, I was surfing the internet and found that there was another site that offered the EXACT same thing for $40.00 less. I asked for a refund. Linsey, my contact person there refused to give me one. Their policy (according to her) said that I should have called BEFORE I placed my order and they MAY have given me the same price.
I thought that was strange. Why would I call them before I placed my order...I would have just ordered from the other company.
I have filed a complaint with American Express. I have written the US Postal Inspectors to see if there was any mail fraud, and I have filed a complaint with the Tampa area Chamber of Commerce.
These items were for my father's grave site and I think that it is despicable that they are treating me like this.
Their own website says that THEY are not happy until I am. SO...they have not bothered to respond to my certified letter asking for a refund...lets see who else I can write to...
Excellent service. I placed my order on Friday and got it the following Tuesday, ground shipping. Strongly recommended.

I ordered a "Pagoda" Arctic Products cast iron chimenea in the bronze finish from Gardenocity (a.k.a. yardlover.com, patiolover.com, and seedlover.com) shortly before Christmas as a gift for my spouse. I received an email confirmation of my order and another subsequent email with its tracking number once it shipped. My order shipped the following business day and arrived in two days via UPS Ground Shipping ~ just in time for the holiday! Unfortunately, it arrived with a manufacturer defect ~ one corner of its lid is chipped with the missing piece nowhere to be found within its box.
I called and spoke with Ann, who kindly and professionally addressed this matter immediately by having a replacement shipped the same day. Much to my disappointment, I discovered that evening that this replacement shipped via UPS 3-Day Ground Select rather than regular shipping (i.e., a mere two days to my zip) ~ which meant it would arrive after Christmas rather than before.
Naturally, I contacted Ann again to inquire as to why it shipped 3-Day Select rather than regular UPS Ground. Ann checked into this matter and called me back within 10 minutes to inform me that they would ship another replacement via UPS overnight ~ to ensure its arrival in time for Christmas. It arrived the following day, as did the original replacement ~ which was scheduled to arrive after Christmas.
My spouse and I love this Pagoda Chiminea so much that we decided to keep them both, and I must say that the absolutely outstanding personalized service Ann provided contributed heavily to our mutual decision.
Today is New Year's Day 2007, and I plan on contacting Arctic Products tomorrow when they reopen for business. I will request a replacement lid for the defected lid and if they provide it, we will keep this Pagoda chiminea as well. Again, our decision to purchase two additional chimineas (when I had originally planned to purchase only one) is weighted upon Ann's superb handling of the unanticipated trials with my order.
Something worth mentioning ~ aside from the excellent customer care Ann provided, is their highly competitive price for this particular product. Their pricing for this cast iron chiminea includes free UPS Ground Shipping, while other online vendors are charging substantially more ~ some exclusive of free or even low shipping cost. In fact, one may simply conduct a Google Search (e.g., pagoda cast iron chiminea) to quickly see for oneself that this product is offered for more than twice its Gardenocity price from a number of other online merchants.
Gardenocity offers consumers a nice selection of top quality products for outdoor living and the best personalized customer care I've found outside of very long established mail order/internet merchants (LL Bean immediately comes to mind) at eye-popping competitive pricing. To reiterate, Ann's gracious handling of our somewhat bumpy order contributed heavily in our decision to purchase not one, not two, but three Arctic Products Pagoda Chimeneas (all in beautiful bronze) ~ they're gorgeous!!!

On the morning of Mon. June 12, '06, I ordered a three-pack of 14 gallon Tree Gators to water my low-branched conifers. I received shipping notification within a couple hours. And the box arrived the next afternoon--from Florida to Wisconsin! Yardlover.com had the best price for the Tree Gators and shipping was free. I will always consider Yardlover.com for future garden tool purchases.
