| Negative | suzyq53714 Madison, WI (4 reviews) February 12, 2009 | Took over 2 months to send out my order because it was to cold to send out 2 pitcher plants and a vft which it is not! Then I find out they collect these plants from the wild! OMG NO!!! Sorry I wouldn't recommend anyone ordering from this company nor will I order from them again! |
| Negative | Tigernach Charlottesville, VA (Zone 7a) (13 reviews) February 22, 2008 | This nursery knowingly buys wild-collected carnivorous plants, including the Venus Flytrap which is a critically threatened species. This was troubling to me, especially since I asked them specifically about the issue at a flower show and they told me that they propagated their plants; however, in the article below they admit to buying wild-corms from collectors:

There is absolutely no reason to wild collect these plants as they can be easily grown from seed or tissue culture.
