Placed an order with bonsai-tools.com (internet arm of Penjing Iron Works), used PayPal and received an order confirmation almost instantly. A week passed, no indication that the order had shipped, on back order, etc. Notified 2checkout.com (their financial collector) and asked if everything was in order, was there a problem, could they advise of the order status. I was told by a young gentleman that they would email bonsai-tools (and cc me) and I should have a response in 24-48 hours. Two days later, I called 2checkout.com again, they supplied a phone number for the Florida operation of bonsia-tools.com (Penjing Iron Works) and stated that they would again email the company and cc me. When I called the phone number given, it went directly to a voice mail box with no option to talk to anyone. I left a message that I wanted a return phone call today.
I will leave this as a Neutral pending that phone call. On December 25th, 2011, alheline changed the rating from neutral to negative and added the following:
Never received a return phone call. 2checkout.com (the good guys) took action on their own, to kill the order and return my money (without further prompting). Penjing Iron Works / Bonsai-Tools.com will NOT see any business from me.

I ordered 2 rolls of aluminum bonsai wire because 1 was discounted at $14.95. Later the discounted item was canceled and the shipping price remained unchanged at $18.60. I sent an email asking to have my order canceled until all requested items were in stock and received no reply. Total shipped price for 1kg roll of aluminum bonsai wire $44.55. I will never do business with this company again.On July 4th, 2011, bonsaist changed the rating from negative to positive and added the following:
John Schaefer the president of Penjing Ironworks contacted me about a month and a half later, refunded the entire shipping cost of the order $18.60, mentioned that the discounted item was still out of stock, and apologized for this error. I think John was sincere and I would do business with his company again.

i ordered two bonsai growing kits of them.when i recieved them i found one was missing the seeds.i e-mailed them and never even got a reply.to me thats bad play on thier part.plus in future ill be taken my business else where as i was going to us them for all my supplies.BUT NOT ANYMORE.

More importantly they feature the everyday as well as higher quality, ergonomic tools which are actually used in China, thereby producing the most authentic results. Arrival of my order was within 8 days.
