However I received an email there was a minimum purchase of $100 to do business with this nursery. I refused and asked that my order be canceled and my money refunded. I would like to update my initial comments. After speaking with the representative I ordered 4 trees. I can say without reservation that everything communicated to me was fulfilled. The quality of the trees far exceed any trees I have ever bought from an on-line nursery. They was well packed. The roots were moist. However I was most impressed by the size. All the trees far exceeded the size I expected. This is one nursery that if you have not done business with I strongly suggest you try.

Our ordering information is available from every page in our website, near the bottom of each page there is a link labeled "Ordering Info" that includes the information pertaining to the $100 minimum order. Two other quick notes, the item ordered was a 1/14" caliper tree bare root tree for $20.50, this is about 9 feet tall and is about 2-3 years older than a competitor's 3/8" caliper tree that sells for $22.95. We could easily sell this tree on the same margins as our competition for $125; however it is not the way that we do business.
The other note is that we do not charge credit cards until the order has been accepted by our company or shipped, depending on the nature of the order. Since this order was not accepted, there was only an authorization on the card to verify the amount of $29.76. All authorizations are regulated by the cardholder's financial institution as a 3 to 6 day hold on the funds to make sure that they are available when charged. The card in this transaction has not been charged, nor can it since we have not accepted the order. It is not possible to refund an amount that has not been charged. The order was placed 04/17/2007 04:12 pm, the terms and conditions were accepted at 04/17/2007 04:12 pm, the email that was sent regarding the minimum purchase was sent 04/17/2007 07:38 pm, the refusal email was received 04/18/2007 04:37 pm. The order is canceled. The authorization in the amount of $29.76 will be released per the contract of the cardholder's financial institution.
We do not normally discuss details of the order in a public forum, however we feel that there has been no breach of privacy nor identification. We would like to serve all customers in the future, however there are certain terms and conditions to our business that must be agreed upon to keep our quality high and out prices low.
