December 31, 2009 | Some friends of mine spent quite a bit of money on supplies at 5th Season -- and got burned! There is good news and bad news about this store. The good news: excellent location, attractive building, nice gift items, excellent indoor growing supplies & organic and natural fertilizers and additives. Employees are generally friendly. The bad news is that the employees lack product and gardening knowledge. This can be disastrous to your gardening plans. Caution: do your homework before you get there or you may end up making some very costly and disappointing purchases. There are some plants for sale also, but prices are exorbitant. Caveat emptor! |
