October 28, 2009 | Floralia is loacted in Brazil, and although you can place an order with them and have it sent directly to you, they also offer another option. They often attend orchid shows in the US and other countries, and can take pre-ordered orchids with them to the shows. They will mail them to you from the show, resulting in faster and less expensive shipping, and greatly reduced CITES and phytosanitary documentation expense. I placed an advance order this way for 6 hard to find rupicolus laelias two months ago, and received them by US Priority Mail about 3 weeks ago shortly after they attended the San Diego Orchid Fair. All the plants were in good condition and of a nice size. Their prices are very reasonable, and they have an excellent selection of native Brazilian species and hybrids. |
