I can't say that I'm very pleased with customer service either. I received (10) Allium Gladiator bulbs with soil-borne White Rot disease and they have had me jump through hoops to get them to support the sale. Since they already have my money, they offered some reduced credit or to refund half the price I paid, and now they don't respond at all. They've taken my money, provided sub-standard, diseased product, and have not acted very responsible to stand behind the product or their error. Based on the other post below, it sounds like they've ruined the reputation under one company name and have started anew under another name. Not a good way to start. I'm to the point that I'm going to call my credit card company and just issue a chargeback. I'm done with trying to contact them and being held hostage for their mistake. This is very poor customer support.

I found Andy and the staff at Sunshine Bulbs to be extremely responsive to emails and phone calls. I first found this company as an Ebay seller. I placed a very large bulb order that was shipped in three large cartons. The bulbs were all fresh and of top quality.
The prices were exceptionally good, deeply discounted from normal retail prices. The selection of bulbs was incredible. The bulbs arrived in a very timely fashion just as promised. All were well packaged and very clearly labeled.
Two seasons have passed since my last order from Sunshine Bulbs. Each spring my garden has come alive with the beautiful flowers produced by the top quality bulbs offered by this company.

After reading all the positive comments here I thought I would give this place a try. I needed assistance in placing my order so I called them about 10 times & never once did I get anyone, it was always an answering machine. I emailed them & thought they would help but never did. They answered my first email & then completely ignored & would not help complete the order. I could not understand why especially with all the good feedback. I am wondering if they were bought by someone else. This is their email on sunshineflowerbulbs website email@example.com. I googled that email & found http://www.gardenvalueoutlet.com that uses the same email & phone number. gardenvalueoutlet has a couple of negative rating of daves watchdog & is affiliated with Sellsonic.com (according to daves) & sellsonic is affiliated with (according to daves)10 other companies. Any way I look at it the customer service is terrible. I cant imagine how the service would be if I had problems with an order, when they wont even help placing an order.

Received wonderful bulbs from Andy independently and through a co-op. Couldn't be more pleased. The ones I got in March are shooting up like crazy. Beautiful healthy plants. Packed very well, and bulb size and condition was great. Shipping fast and very, very good communication.
Andy went above and beyond in getting me the bulbs that were not in the co-op. I will definitely return, either through another co-op or for my own garden next summer. Thanks Andy!On October 31st, 2010, clpgirl added the following:
Just wanted to add that, since I kind over 'over-ordered" in the fall co-ops, my gardening partner and I started a number of bulbs for our Lions Club Mother's Day plant sale. We made over 408$ which helped support our village back packs for kids project as well as our huge 4th of July Parade, and funds for local families who have hit sad times. I am thrilled with the growth and bloom of these bulbs and I can see Andy's bulbs throughout the Village. FUN!! 5 stars and I'm looking forward to this year's co-op adventure w/ him.

I ordered from this company for the first time. My aim was to force a bunch of hyacinth bulbs in the fridge for winter/early spring flowers. I bought over a hundred bulbs, while most of them were 18-19 cm, the ones that were smaller ended up being clearly bigger, which was a happy surprise. The bulbs were well packed and labeled well and were in brown lunch type bags with holes poked in them. I've read a couple places that brown lunch bags is a great way to store these bulbs. I will order from them again next year.

I did a co-op with this company, and honestly could not be happier with the product. The freshness and size of the bulbs is amazing to me. I will definitely order from this company again co-op or not.
I am very happy with the bulbs I got from Andy through a DG co-op. I would not hesitate to order again as they are packed well and fast shipping. I can not get over the size of the bulbs. They are outstanding.
I received lily bulbs from Andy thru a DG co-op. They were excellent! Andy was gracious about changing my ship date. The lily bulbs were packed perfectly, shipping was extremely fast. Andy is a great seller!

Received great healthy bulbs. Well packed and labeled. Through a coop on Daves'
I called Andy and asked that he change my order date which he did without hesitation and I am thankful for that. My bulbs were well packed and labled and healthy. I look forward to ordering from him again next year.
Also must say I hope his bussiness grows leaps and bounds in the years to come and with the way he treats his customers I am sure it will.

I can't begin to explain just how satisfied I am with the lily bulbs that I bought from Andy and Sunshine Bulbs through 1violethearts coop this spring. The communications were very prompt throughout the coop, so we as the participants always were aware quickly of any changes. Andy even separated the bulbs for us, something he doesn't do with his other customers. Amazing in itself! The packaging was the best I have ever seen, the prices phenomenal, and the bulbs the highest of quality! A+++++!!!
I have had a most excellant experience with Andy at Sunshine Flower Bulb. I recieved over 500 various bulbs from him and all of the varities have been large, healthy, and just "top notch" quality. Shipping and packaging are always well done and fairly priced. Andy is very professional and always takes great care with customer satisfaction. He has a "Do the right thing" additude without letting people unfairly manipulate him. I will be ordering all kinds of different bulbs from Andy for as long as he runs his company.
