We are first time chicken owners. The thought of buying 25 chickens ONLINE was extremely weird for us. However, we had a few extra dollars in the bank and we really liked efowl.com's website, so we decided to give it a go.

The website itself was EXTREMELY easy to navigate. My only negative critique about the website is that I wish it would have actual pictures of some of these birds. However, it is a minor complaint.

The ordering process is fairly straight-forward. You get a running total and there are little highlighted areas that you can run your mouse over for extra information. Bonus.

We had never ordered ANY birds from anywhere before so we were really disappointed to learn it would be three weeks before we got our birds but it did give us some extra time to get things the way we wanted them.

A few days before our scheduled ship date, I sent a quick e-mail over to the company to check if everything looked good for our delivery date still. I got an e-mail back almost immediately saying everything looked as planned.

Our chickens arrived the very next day after we got our shipping confirmation. We ordered 25 birds and we got 27. :-) They IMMEDIATELY started drinking their water and eating their food. We had NO issues and did not have to show not one of them what to do. They are genius chickens, I think. ;-) I sent a quick e-mail to the company again to let them know the chickens got here, we love them, they are awesome, and we will DEFINITELY buy from them in the future. Again, an almost immediate response thanking us for our patronage and encouraging us. What a nice touch!

We are now at a week and no casualties thus far. They are growing like gang busters and I have chicken fever something fierce! We will DEFINITELY use this hatchery over and over again. What a wonderful experience.

I ordered a heated chicken waterer, that was guaranteed to not freeze to -10 degrees. I live in Mississippi. The temperature did get down to 26 degrees one night and the water froze!
I placed the order in November and used it for the first time in December. I didn't try it before I needed it, cause I really thought it would work!
I went out the morning after the 26 degrees, from the night before and the water was frozen.
I have contacted the company...TWICE and they have not responded.
I WILL NOT order from efowl.com again.
On January 20th, 2014, babawawa changed the rating from negative to positive and added the following:

I was contacted, finally, by this company on 1-20- 2014.
The company who manufacturers this product is Farm Innovators. I called their phone # and was told that I needed to preform an "air" test. I had never heard of this, but did as I was told. I was told to put the base in my freezer for 45 minutes, then take it out and plug it into an outlet in my house. After 30 seconds, the unit is supposed to start heating up, mine didn't. I was instructed to send it back to them, Postage Paid by me. Then and only then, after they had done their own tests, would I be sent a replacement.
It is not efowl, that is responsible for the faulty equipment, they only sold it. Farm Innovators manufacturers the defective units. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm on Social Security, the chickens are a hobby and I cannot afford to send this back at my own expense. I guess I will have to just 'eat' the $51.26!

I'm so happy with this company. We had a small snag of all 22 of my chicks dying in route to me. But I sent a picture to Alan of customer service & they had a new shipment in route to me within days of me reporting it. They were nice about it the whole situation and very helpful. I will be a returning customer for life with bigger & bigger orders each time. Way to go guys.

This was the only place I was able to find that sold Call Duck ducklings and after reading all of the great reviews on this place I decided to order 6 call ducks, 3 white and 3 gray. Ordering process was painless, recieved confirmation on my order shortly after I sent it out.

Yesterday I recieved my babies in the time period given and must stay, that they are by far the most adorable little ducklings I have ever seen!!!! No problems with them at all! I can't get over how sweet they are! I've only had them for two days and they already have a little pattern. Eat a little feed, then scurry over the waterer, then back to the feed, then investigate something, then back to the waterer, repeat, all while in a semi straight line. Monkey see, monkey do, you know.

I'm extreamly pleased with my order, and will make any additional waterfowl purchases from here.

I ordered 25 chicks, but they ended up shipping 26 chicks total. One died on the first day, I assume from the stress of shipping, but the others have all survived and are doing well. I didn't report the dead chick since my original order was for 25 anyway. Would order with them again.

20 assorted hatching eggs -received 2 extra. 19 hatched beautiful healthy chicks. I had at least one chick of every kind they offered in the assortment. They're now 3 months old and the most beautiful birds I've seen from a hatchery. The Barred Rock Rooster is exceptionally good quality, good natured and sweet. I gave away the other roos, and the people who now own them are very impressed.

I just received my shipment of six ducklings this morning. The ducks arrived promptly on the shipping date requested. The ducks are beautiful, very active, and very healthy. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!!

This was my first order from EFowl and I am totally pleased with the service and chicks that I received. I ordered 12 Ameraucana Pullets, 12 Black Australorp Pullets, 2 Black Australorp Roosters, 6 Buff Orpington Pullets and 1 Buff Orpington Rooster. My order was shipped on the estimated date that I was given. Upon arrival I was extremely impressed with the quality of the chicks that I received and the detail and quality of the shipping materials and method and the obvious care that they used to insure safe shipment. All my chicks (including 2 extra chicks) were alive and very healthy. Upon putting them in the brooder they immediately started drinking water and eating starter feed. They are still all live and well. I will definately order from EFowl again and I will gladly recommend them to all my friends.

I ordered 15 barred rock chicks. Ordering was easy and clear on the website. The chicks arrived in two days, securely shipped and all in excellent condition. There was an extra chick included in case one didn't make it through. All chicks are thriving in their brooder. I was needing several female ducks. I checked out several sites and eventually ended up at eFowl.com. Originally the free shipping was the draw but as I went through the order process, they also had the best small order premiums. After the order was sent I needed to make a change and was very impressed with their quick action and pleasant responses. The birds arrived on time and in good condition. I would highly recommend purchasing from eFowl and will do so again as needed.

I ordered 16 baby guineas from efowl.com, and I could not be more pleased with my experience. The chicks arrived even before I was expecting them, and they were so healthy and lively! They started eating and drinking right out of the box. They are beautiful and I can't wait to raise them. Not to mention the efowl staff was extremely courteous and helpful with all my needs. I had 2 orders a month or 2 apart I got 6 ducks all arrived very active and one was even a little crazy wanting to run everywhere...

I ordered again and got 25 Americaunas and all arrived next day healthy and doing awesome and a few weeks later still all good to go and looking forward to getting out in the coop

My children ordered 10 black crested ducklings from efowl as a birthday surprise. I was very concerned about shipping to Alabama with a mini heat wave in progress. The post office called early in the morning the day after they were shipped & I picked up 10 healthy, alert black crested ducklings that were literally jumping out of their box when it was opened. BEAUTIFUL ducklings with huge crests. I could not be more pleased! Can't wait to order some more breeds next year! Thank you!

I ordered 26 mottled houdans and 6 amercauna hens and 6 black polish all arrived alive and healthy there were no chicks that had any malformations of the legs and toes .all were very healthy and active they were packed wonderfully. they said the birds would ship next day and the next morning the post office called me with my box of chirpers . was not expecting them so soon which was wonderful. The purchase experience with them was A+ i will be purchasing all of my fowl from them. customer experience was wonderful and i am the proud mother of 38 healthy chicks .on another note there prices are exceptional for what you get . i have bought many a chicks at feed stores for 3.50 a piece claiming to be ameracauna pullets and were all roosters and the price i paid was high compared to efowl thank you for such a great experience.6/1/12

I ordered a week ago 15 assorted heavy breed chickens, 14 female and 1 rooster!! I got the email telling me they would be shipping on 5/21/12 and it should take 2 days and in some cases maybe 3 days. I got them in 2 days, I went to the post office and picked up 16 chirping, healthy baby chicks!!! I brought them home and put them their new temporary home and under a heat lamp and they are drinking, eating and playing!!! Efowl executed a first class transaction. The order was placed 2 weeks ago for 20 Guinea Keets. Efowl responded with a promised ship date of 4/9/12 and a delivery of no more than 2 days later.
The keets did ship on 4/9/12. Today is 4/11/12 and I just picked up 21 healthy keets. All was as promised and Efowl's communication prowess is 2nd to none.

I was stunned to find this company listed as a "Top 5" for anything. Maybe they've cleaned up their act, but they are responsible for the worst online buying experience I have ever had.

In December 2010 I ordered several Khaki Campbell ducklings from them, because they said they had them available. By the end of February I still had not gotten my birds. At first when I called they were very apologetic, promised me priority service, etc. Twice they told me they had shipped, and twice I had no birds arrive. Keep in mind, you have to pick up live birds from the post office, so I spent those failed deliveries at home waiting by the phone. After giving me the runaround for two months they were increasingly rude to me, blamed their supplier, and made excuses about being the middleman. Towards the end of this ordeal I was talking to voicemail and not getting called back. I finally had to hunt down their information and file a BBB complaint against them.

Thank you for your feedback. Our records indicate the customer placed the order on 12/29/10. We originally had the order scheduled to hatch and ship on 01/24/11. This was the initial hatching date for Khaki Campbells for the season. Thus, production levels can be unpredictable, and we did have to delay the order. We rescheduled the order for 02/07/11, but again had to delay it due extremely cold weather which prevented safe shipping. At this point, we refunded the customer 20% of the total order cost, as compensation for the inconvenience. The order was successfully shipped and delivered the week of 02/14/11, and the customer reported successful delivery on 02/17/11. The repeated delays were an unfortunately, albeit atypical customer experience.

I ordered 15 Jersey Giant hens, and was pretty disappointed when two were dead the first day, another one the next. They refunded the money for two, but five of the hens (blacks), are not Jersey Giants. Two of the 10 white chickens are roosters.

It wasn't all bad. They sent an extra one, so I have 13 nice chickens, and even though the black ones are not Jersey Giants, they are cute in their own way. The only problem is the real Giants are getting much bigger, and bullying them. And of course, now I have two roosters I was not expecting.

Because I'm looking for a variety of chickens, and colorful eggs, I ordered 5 types of chickens, (totaling 27 chicks) and they all arrived alive and doing great!! They are the cutest little balls of fluff you ever saw! E-Fowl not only shipped on my original ship date, but they were waiting at the post office the next day and were all eating and drinking right away. Thanks for great quality, price and shipping!!!

I ordered 10 ducks from Efowl.com as a Christmas present for my father. I was skeptical at first as I had not heard of the company before but once I placed my order I was sent a notice on exactly when my ducks would ship, how they would come, and instructions on what to do upon their arrival. Their website is very informative and clear, it seems like they update their FAQs very often to make the customer experience better.

I received 11 ducks (1 extra) on time exactly as they described with no problems. All are doing well and I couldn't be happier with my purchase and will be a return customer.

Ordered 15 baby Americauna chicks. Post Office called just before 8:00 am to pick up the chicks. Could hear them chirping as the postman was bringing them up front. Arrived home opened the box to find 16 happy chicks ready to get out of the box to drink and eat just fine. Excellent handling with the temps in the upper 90's on thurs and fri. I would recommend efowl to anyone interested in purchasing fowl in the future. Will return for any future purchases.

My daughter and I received 16 assorted, straight run, Bantam Sulkie chicks, we had ordered 15, thank you for the extra one! They are so cute!!! They are are fluffy and get fluffier. They seem to be doing fine the first few hours of trying to get used to their new environment but by evening one of the runts weren't doing so good. We put it in a box alone to see if it would do any better but it didn't make it. Then day two another runt died but the rest all seem to be doing great. Things like that happen. I have been in contact with Efowl since the day they arrived, just to let them know that they had arrived and were doing well at the time. They responded back with a very nice email and then I had to reply telling them what had happened :( Efowl has been absolutely wonderful!!! I look forward to buying more chickens and ducks with them in the near future.

Ordered ducks and chickens several times over a two year period: spring and summer. The animals arrived healthy and as advertised. Follow on questions were handled intelligently and promptly.

Kudos to the US Postal Dept. for their handling of the day-old chicks. They called us a 5AM as soon as the USPS deliveries were in the door. They kept the chicks in a warm space. The only problem I had was getting them to give them up!

Ordering my Bantam chicks from efowl was quick and easy. The webpage is friendly. There were good descriptions and information to help me make my choices. When I inquired about the shipment of my order, I had a quick and positive response from customer service. Some of my chicks didn't hatch and my money was refunded quickly and without problems. My remaining chicks arrived healthy and active. There were some extra chicks to make up for the chicks that did not hatch. That was not necessary but a nice gesture. I have to give credit to efowl and to the USPS for handling shipping so well. The instructions for handling the chicks here at home are good. My chicks are healthy, happy and growing. Thanks, efowl.

We ordered 6 mallards, 2 pekin ducklings, and 2 cayuga ducklings which came today all healthy, full of life, and beautiful. Also received 2 extra mallard ducklings to our surprize.Received them 2 weeks after ordering them and when they shipped we had them in 48 hours,amazing.Very, very satisfied and will always be doing business with Efowl and only Efowl-Thankyou sooo much!!!!

Got my first batch of Grey Calls in May. Now my second batch are almost 3 weeks old. Being from the Arkansas Delta I know what a Mallard is suppose to look like in the wild, and these little rascals are perfect. Not only conformation (normal bill) but coloration too. Wanna talk about some loud hens!!! Music to my hears!!! Thanks efowl.

We were extremely happy and pleased on how healthy the ducks were when they arrived. They arrived on Wednesday as promised. The ducks were healthy and happy! They ate and drank and are doing fine. They sleep well and are doing great! We would definitely recommend anyone to get their ducks/birds from efowl.com. We named them all and are excited to watch them grow up!

I placed an order for 24 Rouen Ducks on May 9, 2011. They were shipped on May 16, 2011 and arrived on May 18, 2011. All baby ducks were alive, well and doing just fine. To my surprise, they sent me 25 Ducks. This is the best and only place to order any kind of Fowl. I will gladly do business with them in the future. Thanks eFowl!!! You all did a wonderful job!

On April 18, 2011, we ordered 25 Road Island Reds Pullets and 2 RIR Cockerels. We recieved our order on May 18, 2011. We were very pleased that all chicks were healthy and full of life. This was our first order with E-Fowl and have since ordered another batch of chicks. We were very happy and satisfied with our new babies and will continue to order from e-fowl in the future. Our 4 Indian Runner Ducklings arrived safely this morning. The post office called at 6 am to let us know they had arrived. We could hear the ducklings chirpping even before we got inside the post office!They were happy, healthy and very entergetic. One actually hopped out of the box when I opened it! All are eating, drinking and adorable.Very pleased with Efowl, would difinitily recommend them.

Safe shipping is a HUGE concern when ordering live birds. Everything was packaged professionally for a safe and warm journey. The" extra chicks" were a nice surprise!! They arrived this morning at my local Post Office and I could hear them chirping immediately upon entering. They were all happy and eating & drinking immediately upon their arrival home. I will be a return customer for sure as the quality and health of these chicks are obvious.

My 1st order of baby chicks came in a little ruff, I called efowl and talked with Austin.. He was wonderful.. They reshipped my order and the chicks came in great.. They were so great and never made anything about the process hard.. I love them and will most definitely reorder from them, and their prices are awesome:) Thank You efowl!!!

I have had a lot of problems of ordering things online, so live baby goslings was really a big step for us.
When the post office called this morning, it had been 2 full days since our e-mail that the babies were on their way, I was very concerned for them.
But when I opened the box, six wonderfully healthy and happy goslings peeped cheerfully at me. I placed them in their warm box and they drank water, ate, and off the sleep they went. My grandchildren were so excited to see them and hear them.
Thank you so much for a great experience and healthy geese. I will recommend you every time I am asked "where did you get the geese".

I was skeptical about ordering live ducklings over the internet. I was mostly concerned with the shipping aspect. However, I ordered six ducklings from efowl.com and paid for the water/food to be shipped with them. The post office called me this morning to let me know they were in and I went to get them. When we opened the box, there were six very lively, seemingly healthy, adorable little ducklings looking up at me. My children were thrilled to say the least. In the box was a container that must have held the food, straw bedding, and a warmer to keep them warm. I was very impressed with their shipping accommodations. Through it all I received instructional e-mails from efowl.com letting me know all aspects of my order having been received, processing, and shipped. I wrote to let them know I received the ducklings in good condition and they emailed me back within 1/2 hour thanking me for my feedback. Overall, I am very happy with the ease of purchase, condition of the animals, and the quick manner of their customer service. I would definately order from efowl.com in the future.

I was pleased with the variety of Bantams that were sent to me. They are so cute and would recommend to anyone wanting to order fowl to use the e-fowl site which was easy and service was great.
