Free shipping on heirloom seeds is a great deal! Nice selection of unique flowers and vegetables. Placed the order on a Sunday night, and received the seeds on the following Wednesday. Everything is sprouting, except for one thing, but it's my fault. The petunia seeds are fine like sand, and I accidentally spilled them on the clay and not in the bed. Maybe a few of them will make it anyway.

I read the post about worms below and wanted to give my thoughts. I have been ordering ladybugs and fly parasites from Planet Natural for the last 15 years. They have always shipped in a timely manner and they guarantee live delivery. When I had trouble with a ladybug shipment last year (it was extremely hot here), I called them and they sent me another package the next week.

They only ship their bugs on Mondays, so I guess if you ordered at the beginning of the week it could take 10 days or so for an order to arrive.

I placed an online order for 500 red wiggler worms. The bill was charged to my credit card immediately, but the worms were not shipped until 11 days later. Their customer service page was constantly down. When the FedEx box arrived, I opened it and noticed a very bad smell that indicated decaying worms, which I found when I emptied them into the worm bed. I will not order from Planet Natural again.

At Planet Natural we guarantee live, timely delivery of our beneficial insects/worms. Beneficial Insect orders received through Wednesday AM will be shipped the following Monday or Tuesday.

Beneficial Insects are shipped free of charge via either Fed EX or Priority Mail, depending on the insect ordered. Shipping methods are posted on individual product pages.

I ordered two items from Planet Natural and had no problems with fufillment and shipping. They sent three emails (order, receipt, shipping) and everything arrived promptly and in order.

I ordered 48% copper fungicide from Planet Natural. They sent me 10% copper fungicide. I even checked my "order history" at their web site, which confirmed that I ordered 48% copper fungicide. I wrote to them, and they wrote back saying "You were sent the correct product that you ordered." and then said that the supplier no longer makes the 48% solution, and they will update it on their site. Fine, so the 48% formulation is no longer available, but don't tell me I got what I ordered!

Excellent selection of fertilizers, soil amemdments, and hard to find plant care items, They even sell helpful bugs!. A "must have bookmark" for those in the know... Fast service.

I am a 3rd grade teacher in Wyoming and our class is beginning to learn about the benefits insects have when being used for gardening. I recently called Planet Natural and spoke with an employee who was very helpful in getting us started. They gave me all the information I needed on praying mantis, lady bugs, and worms and got my order in as soon as possible. Knowing how the bugs should be kept, released and fed helped me to make this learning experience for my class worthwhile and fun! Thanks Planet Natural. I recently purchased a compost tumbler online from Planet Natural. I was having a hard time deciding on which composter to get and sent several e-mails off to the company before purchasing. They answered all of my questions promptly and were always very helpful. My composter arrived quickly and in good shape. I will definitely be ordering again from Planet Natural.

I will also say, that before purchasing from them I shopped around. Not only did Planet Natural have a large selection of composters, they had some of the best pricing.

I have been purchasing home gardening supplies from Planet Natural for about 10 years now. Many of the products I have purchased I didn't even know existed until visiting their website. Mostly I have purchsed online and have had no problems with delivery time or product cost/shipping, but on occasion have oredered directly over the phone and found the staff to be knowledgable and very friendly. I have without reservation recommended this company to many of my friends and neighbors who are much more avid organic gardeners than myself and have had nothing but positive feedback from them as well.

Planet Natural is one of the best organic gardening companies I've dealt with. The website is so informative and easy to navigate. I was able to figure out exactly what pest infestation I had and how to treat it without using chemicals. But, the best part of my experience with this company was that I could actually call and talk to someone. The person I spoke with was polite and knowledgeable and seemed to genuinely care about my needs as a customer and organic gardener. Its so nice in this day and age to know that you can find a company that isn't corporate and is willing to care about you as a person, not just your dollar amount. As I leave fairly close (by Montana driving standards) I have not mailordered from them, but they are one of my top favorite suppliers. Great selection, and their Semaspore has reduced my grasshopper problem from utterly horrendous to simply bad, a huge improvement! Staff has always been helpful and the owner has personally loaded purchases into my van for me.

So far I love this company. Everything comes in on time and they have so much great organic stuff. They also have the best in bugs. You may be surprised by how many companies not only don't sell the Nematodes they don't even know what they are for. I over watered a plant. Yeah bad me. That was before I bought a water meter (from them). I tried and tried everything known to man and then I got my catalog in the mail from plantnatural.com. My solution. It was like an angel speaking to me.

After ordering and paying an exorbitant amount for 2 day shipping, they waited 5 days to ship out the merchandise. When I called them and politely protested, they were so extremely cavalier that I asked to speak to the manager. The owner of the company came on the line and it was very clear why they have such a poor customer service attitude, despite their advertisements claiming otherwise. They obviously take their cues from the attitude of the owner. The man was loud, rude and an absolute bully. This is by the way the first negative web posting I've ever done on any company, but since this was the "owner of the company" as he loudly proclaimed, I felt it deserved to be communicated to others. Although it took a week before they shipped my nematodes, I did receive them perfectly packaged. And it was free shipping. I do plan on ordering from them again in the future.

I have ordered from Planet Natural twice now. Both times the order arrived in a timely fashion without any problems. They carry an extensive line of organic supplies, especially fertilizer, including some hard-to-find stuff like rock dust. In addition to gardening stuff, they also carry some natural home and bath products. I recomend checking them out.

I placed a order with this company on 3/29/05. I received the order on 3/31/05. They shipped the very same day I ordered. I am very impressed with the speed of shipping, especially when they said it would take 1 week to 10 days.

I also ordered ScanMask and it was delivered promptly and in a ventilated box clearly marked perishable. As noted previously, gnats disappeared in 24 hours and I am a happy camper!

Through no fault of Planet Natural's, FedEx screwed up my delivery. The missing packages were eventually found (thank goodness) and the items I ordered are fine. The people I talked to at Planet Natural were vey courteous, which is always appreciated.
I was drawn to them because of the wide range of soil amendments they offer as well as composters and their prices are competitive. I would order from them again.

Planet Natural's Fish and Kelp Fertilizer is the best NON-STINKY organic fertilizer I've found!

I have purchased from them in the past. In 2003 I had placed an order, which was paid in full Spring 2003. Got another billing in late Fall 2003 regarding same invoice. I paid in protest and informed them it had been paid. They eventually apologized, acknowledge error and sent refund. Be sure to keep accurate accounting records if dealing with them.

Planet Natural is prompt, polite, and professional. They have a good variety of organic fertilizers not available elsewhere in Montana.

I ordered lady bird beetles a few days ago and was concerned about shipping and survival. They arrived quick and in great shape!! For 100+ temps in July that was amazing. Oh, about the price . . . it was great also. Thank you!!
