Purchased seeds both mail order and will call as their facility is very close. Doubled my seed order on 1 item as they considered the germination rate substandard. The seed pkg listed the term also. My seeds were fine. Great source for all kinds of melons.

I ordered a large group of seeds in December and received everything in just about 4 days. Fast Service.

I ordered seeds through their website and received an email stating they would notify me shortly about my order. After waiting 9 days without a word, I sent an email asking for order status. After 3 days of no reply, I called them. The customer service rep stated my order did not contain an address and was the reason the order was not shipped. They had an email address as well as a phone number, however, so the least they could have done is notify me of status. This company had no apologies, and immediately hung up when I canceled my order. Will never order from them again.

Seeds are too old,few new seed .
Old seeds usually contain diseases.
It will be disease vagetables in your field.

My order was a little slow--but this was during probably their busiest time of the year. Good seeds, and a freebie thrown in. The place to go for melon seeds, and a good selection of other vegetables that do well in Texas and similar climates.

I have ordered from Willhite Seed for several years and have found them to be very economical seed , yet at the same time a very high quality seed. I especially like their yellow straight neck squash(Goldbar), zucchini(Seneca) and purple hull pea(Quickpick and Mississippi Purple) varieties. Orders are sent promptly and accurately.

I have ordered from Willhite Seeds for close to 15 years. We have been very pleased with the seeds and service. Only one time did they "lose" our order and were very helpful at correcting the problem. We take vegetables to a farmers market so we want good results the first time we plant. We can buy many more seed for the same price a few would cost us elsewhere.

This was my first time to order from Willhite Seed Co. and I was very pleased with my order. The price was good, seeds were packaged well and shipped quickly. The germination rate was excellent and the plants seedlings are very strong and healthy. Their website also contains a lot of helpful information.

This is my first time ordering from them. My order was correct and sent quickly.
My only complaint: I was sent a pkg of seeds labeled 'substandard'. I called cust serv and was told they will send me another pk of seeds.
When I get those seeds- and if they are good seed- then I will upgrade my rating.

Great variety of seeds! My order was shipped promptly. Contents were clearly labelled. Seeds look good. The information they have available on their site has also come in very handy.

My only gripe is that one item wasn't shipped. I wasn't billed for it, but I wasn't notified or given the opportunity to pick something else either.

I am a market farmer who has been doing business with Willhite for going on 3 years now, & can only say good things about them. They are tops in customer service & product quality. I do not live far from them, & most days, I can place an order in the morning, & pick it up that same afternoon. And their prices can't be beat. In most cases, you can buy enough OP seed to plant an acre for the same price as a couple packets from the local garden center. I always look for seed from them before I check anywhere else.

I have purchased watermelon and Muskmelon seed from Willhite since the late 60's when it was the Willhite Melon Seed Company. They still have the best selection of melon varieties in one place of anyone. They are gradually dropping the older varieties and replacing them with hybrids but still have a great selection. In recent years they have extended thier offering of vegetable seeds. Service has always been prompt and courteous.

Wilhite is a great seed supplier, especially for Texas climates. Seeds perform very well & the staff is great to deal with. I have ordered from them the past 2 years and am well pleased.

I ordered onion plants from them back in February and received confirmation of my order (and a charge was made to my credit card). Around the 3rd week in March, I called and asked that my onions be sent right away. They agreed to fax my request to the shipper. On April 8, I sent an email telling them that I had received no onions and that I was concerned because the last recommended planting date for onions in my area is April 10. I never got a response. I called again on April 15 (2nd long distant call) and again they said they would contact the shipper. I asked them to call me and let me know when the onions would ship and that I wanted them ASAP. They never called. After a 3rd long distance call today, I was finally told that the onions had shipped back on March 19. They said they reshipped on 4/16. I think in the future, I'll pay extra to have my plants shipped in a manner that is trackable (these were shipped parcel post).

This company is tops for watermelon selections, they even develop their own hybrids.

Nice ethnic/internation selections & lots of veggies for southern gardens too.

Excellent germination, great prices for pkt.s or bulk orders. No inflated costs you pay actual usps rates.
