Very disappointed that despite early order the $35 iris that was the main one I wanted was sold out and substituted with a pink intro. I would have preferred a credit but never received any communication until it was delivered.
I asked if I could return it, no response.
I will not order from again.
The plants are big and healthy but pricey and for the price I'd like to get what I order. I don't want to pay $35 for a grab bag.

I did receive a reply, so I can return the substitute. I still prefer a credit rather than grower's choice, saving return postage and a trip to the PO. Earlier notice of sellout would also allow more time to find the cultivar elsewhere.
Thank you for this information. This is something that most of these companies don't understand. When you go online you have a onetime shot at capturing the public's attention. I bought from Schreiners about 25 years ago. I saw that they had a web site and went there and it is not up and running. I am an online rep with a company and I can guarantee if you lose out on that first contact, some people will not return. Since I had done business with them numerous times I knew their business practice and plants to be both sound. Because nothing was popping up, I though perhaps they had gone out of business. They should be advised they need to get their online catalog up and running.
