I've ordered a few times for about a dozen or so varieties of veggies. Almost all heirloom varieties (maybe all of them). I had very few seeds that did not germinate.
Even the difficult to germinate beets did very well. I think maybe 2 or 3 "seeds" didn't germinate out of a whole pack. It's pretty amazing.
People there are very friendly and very helpful. I'm whittling down the number of companies where I get my seeds and Victory Seeds will be on my shorter lists.
Love the fact they are very active with helping keep heirloom varieties going strong.
I am extremely pleased with the seeds I received from Victory seeds. I ordered Cardoon and Borage and the seeds became seedlings in less than a week. I picked Victory because they appeared to be a smaller, friendly company with heirloom seeds. When in need, I will definately order from Victory again. They shipped my order fast and the seeds were packaged properly. Cardoon is not something you can buy seeds for in any stores that I have seen so I was happy to find it at Victory Seeds.

Victory Seed Company sure is a winner, recommended by friends here at Dave's Garden and Tomatoville.
Victory Seed Company has extensive collection of heirloom seeds not offered elsewhere.
Ordering Online - A BREEZE!
Shipping - USPS TRACKING!
Seed Arrival - SUPER FAST!
Packaging - PROTECTED!
Customer Service - SUPERB! (I had to add another variety to my order, and received a response confirming order was updated).
I will be a returning customer for sure. Thank you, Victory Seed Company.
I am 100% happy with this company! The seeds arrived super fast and very well packed! I'm trying to get my husband to plow up a bigger area for next years garden and all of the seeds will be bought from Victory! They are terrific!
Terrific experience with this company. Quick customer response and great germination rate on everything I ordered. Despite the possible three-week backlog in orders (which they posted on their website), everything arrived much faster than that. Will definitely buy from them again next year.
I placed my first order with Victory in December for a large amount of my seed needs this year. Very reasonable prices for seed. Shipping was pretty fast and reasonably priced. I like how the seeds are in a small ziplock bag inside the seed packet. Number of seeds in the packet is higher than expected as well. For example, expected about 20 seeds in a packet of Roma tomatoes, there are around 40. So far, my germination rate has been near 100% for 2 types of Lettuce and 4 types of tomatoes. I'm very impressed with Victory and will plan to order the bulk of my seeds from them in the future as well.

I've ordered from Victory Seed Co. for a few years now and based on recent experience, will continue to do so. I placed my order on a Saturday night, Jan. 24th. I received an email confirmation that night and another confirmation when my order shippped. All told, my order arrived within two weeks.
Since many suppliers are being inundated with new customers and increased demand, I expected a shipping delay on my orders this year. I think it's perfectly reasonable that my order arrived within two weeks.
The shipment was packed well and arrived in full. It looks like the seed packet counts are as advertised. I haven't sown these seeds yet but in the past, I've always had great germination with their seeds.
I love this company. They are all about preservation and heritage and history, and they obviously put great effort into all of the above. Some of the seeds they have, one can't get anywhere else, and I think this is because they get some of them directly from Carolyn Male and Craig LeHoullier, who are well known experts in the heirloom tomato field.
My seeds took a little longer to get to me than usual this year - BUT, and this is an important but, they noted prominently on their website that they were running behind due to this year's volume of orders. And then I got follow up emails about my order, again explaining and apologizing for the delay. So I knew exactly what was happening with my order at all times, which to me is a critical part of customer service.
Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this company. They practice what they preach in every respect, and they have a wonderful selection of seeds of top quality. And they treat their customers right! I'll definitely continue ordering from them in the future.
Originally I chose Victory Seeds because it was one of the companies operating in Oregon where I live. After growing their seeds for a couple of years, I find myself leaning in their direction when I'm looking for dependability--excellent germination rates, vigorous growth, and uniformity of product true to the original description. Last Fall, In a moment of panic about our economy, I considered how to be best prepared. I decided to order all my basics from Victory so I could at least be assured of having a good garden. They arrived almost immediately and I tucked them away like the little treasures that they are.
I ordered a pound of redworms on a Tuesday afternoon. Keeping note that they only ship worm orders on Mondays & Tuesdays, my worms were here on a Friday a week and a half later. I also want to note that they had messages on their homepage that they were anywhere from 3-5 or 10 days behind (2 different messages that changed about a week apart). I wasn't expecting them until a week or so later, so even though I was hoping, I wasn't expecting!
Worms are alive & appear healthy. Very happy with my order.

I've ordered tomato and pepper seeds from this company several times and they have never failed to provide excellent service. Their seeds are very fresh with excellent germination and true to type. They, along with Baker Creek, are my favorite sources for heirloom seed.
I had a great experience with this company. My order was fast, and I was really happy to receive a confirmation email as some seed companies don't do that. They have a lot of hard to find varieties, and the prices are very reasonable. Germination rates were excellent on the seeds I bought. I will definitely order from them again.
Very professional. Got confirmation of the order and a thank you email. Then got email to say that order was shipped (and yet another thank you). I really like the seed packets and the labeling on them. This supplier will be hearing from me again in the future.
I liked what I read about Victory Seed, both here and on their website. I ordered my seeds from their online store and received them promptly. The seeds are packaged nicely and clearly. This company has a good philosophy and business attitude. I plan order more from them in the future.

I have ordered from Victory Seeds for the last 3 years and the germination rate is near 100% on everything I've tried. They are the only place I can find JTD, one of my best-producing tomatoes. Everyone I have given seedlings to has mentioned that they liked it.
The seeds that I ordered last year did incredibly well despite our drought and deer trouble. We still had bumper crops on many items. I am ordering over a hundred dollars of seeds this year, now that we have the electric fence up! They were great getting the seeds here fast. The only problem we had was with the parsnips, but I suspect that it was insufficient water and temperature problems, not their seeds.
Great job guys!

I just had to add that I found a packet of Bush Crop Cucumber that I had purchased from Victory seeds last year. It was one that had gone through gone through the washing machine, but not through the dryer. Since I had a little potting soil left over from last year too, I did an experiment. Those seeds were packaged so well in that little inner zippy bag, that when I planted the 35 seeds that came in the packet, 34 of them sprouted and are doing VERY well. They all have their second regular leaf now. I am so-o-o impressed. Not only were they last year's seeds but they went through the WASHER!
Seeds arrived Quickly!
The seed packs were clearly marked and double packaged
Germination was over 98% in my seed starter trays with bottom heat added.
Seed count on all packs was over what was stated.
This was my favorite Company for seed purchases this year and I will order from Victory Seeds again!

This was the fastest order I have ever received! My order arrived in 3 days. Everything was securely packaged, and clearly labeled. Prices were inexpensive, and the directions on the packages are helpful. I haven't planted anything yet, but provided germination isn't horrible I will definitely be ordering from this company again!

All my seeds germinated! Even though the ones I purchased from Victory Seeds were planted at least 3 weeks later, they're all catching up. I will definitely order from here again!
The ordering process was a snap, and my order arrived much quicker than I expected. Everything was correct, well-marked, and in good condition. I've only planted one of the seeds so far (after all, it's only January!) and it's growing like crazy.
I ordered "sampler" sizes of everything, which was cheaper than a full package and definitely adequate for the small backyard gardener. Victory is a great source of inexpensive heirloom seeds!

Just wanted to note that germination rates of my Victory seeds have been very good. Will definitely order again.
I ordered several packets of vegetables and herbs that I wanted to plant soon. The order process was extremely smooth and quick. My package arrived much quicker than I anticipated and now I am impatiently awaiting spring. I will definately order from them again.

WOW! What a great experience! The seeds are double packaged, the shipping prices reasonable, the varieties they have available amazing, they shipped quickly, and the information/communication is fantastic.
Victory Seeds Dwarf Champion tomato seeds are great so far. This is my first time gardening. I have about 15 tomato plants and about 7 different varieties. I have the scrappiest looking garden due to inexperience and lack of time. All except the dwarf champion tomatos from Victory seeds. Those four plants are upright, nicely green, and beautiful. Can't wait to see if the next month will bring some fruit off of these beautiful plants.
Have not planted the seeds yet, but wanted to comment on the prompt service and informative packaging. Very helpful for this beginner. I was especially happy to find the Traveler tomatoes that I hope will grow well here in Puerto Rico.

I hold Victory Seeds in very high regard. This is a terrific company to deal with; one of the very best. Service is professional and prompt. Prices are reasonable.
Mike's dedication, passion for, and interest in historical varieties is particularly noteworthy and appreciated by many.
I was impressed with how quickly I received my order. Some of the seeds have sprouted and some have now, however I was trying something new and didn't follow the directions. Can't blame them for that. I would definitely order again from this company.
I have ordered twice from Victory Seed in the last month. Both orders were filled fully and shipped expeditiously. The seeds were packaged well and germination rate is excellant. I could not ask for a better vendor.
I would like to say in my opinion, Victory cannot be beat in their prices, have a great selection and most important excellent service and delivery. The Dunton family have a small Co. but are large in customer satisfaction and their work in heirloom preservation is very important . I give Victory 101%
