I learned of the clump sale this year on dg, and I thought the prices were unbelievable. I ordered 7 varieties and they sent such huge fans that my sister ended up with a third of them, because I really had enough to share with no pain. They are all doing great, and one has already bloomed. I used to pass the place all the time going from Maryville Tn., to Chattanooga. I plan to visit in person, soon. I won't look any farther than here when I want new lilies, which will be next clump sale.

I received my order today. The box was nice & heavy and all of the plants looked great and the clumps are very good sizes. I look forward to ordering from them again!

The daylilies I received in spring '06 were beautiful and healthy. They started off better than two other shipments from highly rated companys' plants. This spring I have divided some of last year's shipment. Pricing was great. Would order from them again.

I have purchased from them at their garden (potted plants). Though a friend at work and at home (clump sale last year 2006) My purchases from them have been better than great. Very satisified with their service they took very good care of me even when I was buying though a friend at work. I called them to tell them that I didn't recieve something that was ordered and they sent it right out to me {even thought it had been ordered in someone else's name and address}. I can not believe that anyone could have received the type of service that the one neg. person said they got, that's why I deceided to write this. They are great people to work with -really great plants both regular sale and clump. they really made a good mark in my wife's book and she plans on buying more daylilies for me from them. you can not lose by buying from them because everything positive said about them is true and more so. AAA+++ company.
I have visited Sunshine Hollow's gardens before during their regular season and purchased their potted plants which I absolutely love, but this was my first experience with their clump sale. The plants I received were awesome. I received multiple, healthy fans of every variety I ordered...and I ordered quite a few. I'm looking forward to heading back there once the garden opens to spend the day(s) and buy more daylilies. The fruitcake (whether you like fruitcake or not) is also very good. You should try it! Happy Gardening!

Simply the best! If you're looking for huge daylilies at great prices, this is the place. We've purchased daylilies from several sources this spring and no one comes close to Sunshine Hollow. They will definitely WOW you!

I loved my first order so much, I quadrupled it the day after I received the first! HUGE fans, lots of fans in the clump sale, now I am going back for some special ones that are more pricey.....but the quantity you get is unbelievable!

Well, I made the mistake of going to the Sunshine Hollow website after reading all the reviews--boy, are they ever right!
When I say mistake, I mean that because I have very little will power when it comes to great assortments of plants that I can't find locally, or thru the usual catalogs. They indeed have more daylillies than I can afford to buy, not because of the prices, which are wonderful for the sizes you receive, but because of the huge selection available. I too was taken back when I went to pick up my box. First it was bigger than I had anticipated, but second it was so heavy! At first, I thought it must be soil around the roots, moss or some sort of packing. The plants were packed well, but the weight was mainly the size and number of plants--all shipped free! By number of plants, I am referring to the additional fans that were packed with almost every variety. I could have easily bought more from them with free shipping and rust free, and divided them and resold the individual pieces locally for what I paid for the whole, as well as doubling my money. Truely a bargin, and the best size and prices I have found in years for daylillies. Thanks to all who recommended them [although my husband won't be so sure when he sees that I've ordered even more]--just can't pass up such a bargin.

Once again I found myself placing--not one but 2 more orders from Sunshine Hollow. I can't say enough about the size and health of the plants, and the customer service is great. They'll stay on my list of favorites for daylilies, now I have to keep myself from going back to look at what else they have to offer. Very highly recommended!!

Wow! I second all the positives, I ordered some of there clump specials but i also ordered some regular plants and they were also four and five fan clumps. i was so impressed i placed another order today.
and wow can't beat free shipping to me.
Adding to all the other positive responses already posted.....
I was also extemely pleased with not only the quantity but also the quality of the fans I received from sunshinehollow. I received a great # of fans not only from those daylilies I ordered that were designated as clump (sale) daylily varieties, but also those varieties that I ordered regularly priced. I will definitely order from them again!!

I recently placed an order for 15 plants from Sunshine Hollow, most were in the clump sale. When I found the box on my porch I was amazed at the weight of it. Very generous clumps and very healthy plants. Why would I look elsewhere for daylilies after this experience?

I just received my order from their "clump" sale. The first thing I noticed was that the box was really heavy! I thought, goodness, what the heck do they pack these things with (I only ordered 7)? Then I opened the box and WOW! They are huge clumps! Many fans, I could not have found plants of this size and quality at this price anywhere -mail order or otherwise - and when I say "fans" - I don't mean skinny, grassy spikes either - I mean really thick (1 inch plus), substantial, green, pruned fans. I could very easily divide these guys and get 2 or 3 times the amount of plants out of them that I thought I was buying.
Definately will recommend this company to others and provided they all bloom true - this will be my ONLY source for daylilies from now on. They were also packed very well, delivered at the correct time, and I was sent a tracking e-mail when they were sent.

This is the first of many years I will be ordering from this company. I was blown away by the amount of fans I received when I ordered from their clump sale. The plants are healthy and so reasonably priced, I still cannot believe my luck. The customer service also cannot be be beat. They kept me abreast of my order all the way. Thank you again for a wonderful experience. If there was a way to send a double Positive post I would do it.

Placed another order and again so very happy with the fans received in the Clump Sale. I will be making this an annual order.
I got my order from their clump sale and I was very pleased, they had everything I ordered and sent very nice healthy looking plants, I will definetly order from them again.
Have bought from this location over the last 4-5 years. Mostly by visits. Very nice display gardens. They have very good service and cooperation as well as good quality plants and very fair prices. Products are at least as good as and usually better than represented in their flyers.
I ordered from Sunshine Hollow during their end of the summer sale. Plants were shipped in late August (not the best time, but sale list indicated that they will not hold plants for the sale). The plants were large (some of them included 5 fans) and in good health. The nametags were sturdy and held up until this spring when I got new labels made (labels are always a challenge for this gardener). I will order from them this spring. They have excellent prices. Also, they have the best price for the few hostas which do well in central Texas.
