Don't order from this company. Sent several emails asking for refund for overpriced seeds that did not germinate.
I have a VERY green thumb, and never have issues with seeds not germinating. I started over 600 plants this year ( I sell started plants as a side business), and these were the only seeds that did not come up.
Overpriced Broccoflower seeds, $13.00 for 3 teeny tiny packs of seeds, about 10 per package.
Asked for a refund or replacement several times by email. No response. Will try calling today.
What a rip off. Wish I would had seen this topic before I purchased.
Do not buy from Seedrack.com. I wish I had seen this in Dave's Garden before ordering.
I purchased 4 packs of 5 seeds of hot peppers. Seedrack charged more than $9 for the moruga and over $5 for the others. They charged $6 shipping. Total $38 for 20 seeds. Because they had a nice Web Site, I paid this high premium over the other offerings on ebay. First order never arrived after 20 days. They did replace my order, took another 20 days. Seeds arrived in a unprotected envelope with 95 cents postmark. In the envelope were little zip lock packages containing 5 or 6 seeds, no date. NONE of the seeds have germinated.
In my frustration on waiting for seedrack, I ordered from a couple of people on ebay. The seeds were $3-$5 dollars for 10 seeds and free shipping. The seeds from the other sellers arrived in padded envelopes in 5 days. The packs contained 20 seeds. Total of $13 for 100 seeds. ALL are doing great.

Only two out of 8 different seeds have germinated and I suspect the rest are out of date.
I have sent 8 emails to their Contact which is their sales email address. They have not bothered to even respond to me.
I think this is one of the worst corporations I have dealt with as they sell old seeds and don't date their packages.
Obviously I will never order from them again but I would like them to replace the old seeds they sent me.

Order banana plant seeds followed the directions that came with the seeds out of $40.00 worth of seeds got one very sad looking plant...
Have e-mailed and snail-mailed them no response to either....for the $40.00 could have purchase 5 one gallon plants...so much for customer service.

Bhut turned out to be Caribbean Reds, no answer from my email back in August after learning I was not growing the coveted Ghost. Price was fair but only if you were to actually get what you ordered. Jalapenos had NO heat whatsoever. White Habs were actually good but very, very small in size.
My suggestion, order from the New Mexico University, they will only send you one order in a lifetime of Ghost, but at least you know what you are getting.

after NOT receiving my chili seeds I e-mailed whatcom seeds and was sent a "duplicate" ( dont think the 1st was ever sent ) and as directed planted my seeds. NOT 1 SEED GERMINATED !!!
I then sent an e-mail asking for help with the remaining seeds and got no response in 5 days !!!
Now I read many reviews that are the same as mine.

ordrer placed 9/5/07, 2 weeks ago. Invoice received. No product yet, no info on anticipated shipping date. No info that order is backordered. THE SITE DOES NOT HAVE A PHONE NUMBER FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE -- only email. I consider this a poor prognostic sign. I have emailed. I have called directory assistance and been given the same number as the Better Business Number shows as well as a back up number. In both cases the answering machine does not identify as a business nor sound in any way sound professional. It provides instructions to leave a message which has not returned so far today.
About a year ago I did have an order from them arrive. I do not remember the timeliness but it does not stand out as having been a problem.
However, the process this year does not correspond with how any reliable business, including a home business, should run. I have always had very strong doubts about any US based mail order business which does not bother to have a customer service phone line. Now I know why.

I ordered some palm seeds which were completely crispy feeling and some were moldy. Of course, they never germinated. The only thing that did germinate was supposedly split-leaf philodendron or 'monstera deliciosa' which I ordered as such and was labeled as such but was in fact heartleaf philodendron, a VERY common plant of which I already have a few! I still even have the bag that was labeled 'monstera deliciosa' -- and like an idiot began to stake the heartleaf when it grew and was limp!
ummmmm.....nothing has germinated.......and palm seeds old and moldy......but they are sending replacements for the palm seeds....so......Ill remain neutral until I see the state the NEXT seeds are in.....I truly hope things are better :0)

I got my replacement seeds and, while not being moldy......they were...awful....as bad as the last batch.....I feel bad making this a negative but....nothing I ordered from them germinated......and with 9 kids between my husband and I we cannot afford to waste our money on items from compaies who obviously put more value on pretty plastic baggies and photo cards for their seeds than in the seeds themselves...or their customers PLEASE learn from my mistake.....think twice before giving away your money. :0(

I was taken in by the low prices and bought about 20 packets of seeds from Seedrack on eBay and then from Whatcom's website. The only seeds that germinated were the Purple Bells and the Abutilon, and the germination rate wasn't very good on those. I just chalked it up to cheap seeds and wrote it off. I don't know if they buy leftover seed or what, but I wouldn't recommend them. They do ship quickly though and don't rip you off on shipping, but that's pretty much worthless when they send old seeds. I always have good luck with Park Seed and J.L. Hudson Seed. Can't go wrong with these two companies.
I bought several seeds last fall, including some coffee (Coffea arabica), purple dragon carrot seed, pawpaw seeds, among others.
I was mainly excited about the coffee seeds. I researched like crazy to find all the info I would need to get those babies to grow. By the way, their instructions were incomplete for growing coffee, good thing I looked it up (well not really, didn't matter as the seeds were crap). I knew they lost their germination quickly, so I got them planted immediately. Anyway, I waited and waited, keeping them at just the right temp., and just the right moisture. However, I finally had to give up after 5 months or so. I sadly tossed them in the trash. I have not yet had a chance to plant the others, spring is around the corner. I have had the pawpaw seeds outside stratifying all winter (I also researched them a bit). I pulled on of the seeds out and it looks crummy, so I am thinking they are going to follow suit with the coffee seeds. I am giving them every chance in the world though, buying pawpaw plants is a bit pricey.
So far a big fat negative, if I have a better experience with the other seeds, I might change it. :(
All those with negative experiences should contact the bbb (www.bbb.com), so they can get a report generated on this company. Some people check there before ordering from a company.

However, I too, experienced an exceptionally low germination rate. They are very specific with their seed count. When they say 8 seeds you get 8 seeds. I paid over $5.00 each for several packets of 8 seeds plus S&H, I also bought a packet of 35 hollyhock seeds from which 5 have emerged and I'm quite certain that will be the final count on the hollyhocks. It just seems to me that since they surely must know the poor germination rate of the seed, they could at the very least toss in a few extra seeds "just in case".
I have not, nor do I intend to contact the company about this. I'm sure they have heard it all before. Even though they might possibly replace the seeds, I have no desire to keep planting seeds and being disappointed at the result...or lack of a result. I will just add it to my experience list and let it go at that.
we bought alot of seeds and none of them came up, followed directions very carefully. when that did'nt work we tried again and still nothing not even one plant out of all of the seeds that were purchased, very disapointed, a waste of money and time, and patience.
My friend and I bought $40.00 of perennial seeds from this company in February from Ebay. 2 1/2 months later none of the seeds have germinated. We split each packet, 1/2 to her & I kept 1/2. Both had different seed starting items.
I dont recommend them.
