I placed an order on the net, and also had a couple of questions for Ed which I emailed. Very soon I got a call from Ed, who answered my questions and even helped me add to my order!
The hostas came via Priority Mail. They were very big and healthy. The packing was excellent and the plants were undamaged, despite their size.
If you have any special hostas you are looking for, I suggest calling or emailing Ed. His inventory seems very varied.
I am looking forward to seeing his new business, which is selling wholesale liners. The pictures on his ebay shop hold the promise of very good sized plants in the liners. Something you don't always see! By the way, if you see a hosta on ebay, but not in his on-line store, give him a call, he's very flexible and helpful!
I will be buying from Ed again, that's for sure!

I really wish there were a higher rating than just positive! Ed is great. He is honest, and will tell you exactly what you need to do to care for your plants. I have been to his nursery several times, and am always impressed. If you have a chance to visit his nursery, you will be amazed at how many more varieties he actually has there. It is hard to make a decision on what to get.
The plants are all beautiful and very healthy. The prices are fantastic. He has been so helpful to me and I have always gotten beautiful plants and the best advise I could possibly hope for. He always takes that extra step, and puts up with all my novice questions.
I can't wait to make my first visit to his new location soon. I'm really looking forward to seeing what he has this year! Thanks Ed!!

Wow!! What a WONDERFUL company this is to deal with. Not only was Ed fast on replying back to my numerous questions, but I couldn't believe how fast my plants arrived. They are huge, extremely healthy and had the type of root system you'd expect on a plant that had been growing in your own yard for years! I discovered Bentley Gardens by accident while shopping for plants on the internet. The plants that I bought arrived in fantastic condition ... healthy and happy. I later had the opportunity to visit the nursery and to meet Ed while on a trip to Atlanta and was absolutely awed! It's a gardener's wonderland! I highly recommend Bentley Gardens. Thanks Ed!!

I won an auction from them on eBay, WOW what a contrast to what I had been receiving from other vendors. Mature plants with excellent root systems. Very knowledgeable and helpful with prices that won’t “break the bank”. One big negative is Ed makes it too easy to become a hosta addict! Lord help me, I still have room in my yard for more…

I ordered several hostas and other plants from this company through ebay. They arrived yeaterday and were in super condition and beautifully packed. The arrived with 4 days of the close of the auction also. I could not be more pleased...the plants are large and healthy. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. I have bought a lot of mail order plants over the years, and this is definitely one of the best!
I just received 5 hostas from an Ebay transaction with this seller. I don't think I've ever bought healthier looking plants. The nice thing is the photos depicted the exact plants I was bidding on & the exact plants shipped.
I will definitely be doing business with Bentley Gardens again....
I purchased about 3 dozen hostas through this company on ebay. I'd purchased about a dozen the first time and when I received the plants I was so happy with them that I went back to ebay and added them as a favorite seller and made more purchases. I'll be buying more once I figure out a new spot in my yard to put them!!! They're friendly and communicative in their emails and just a pleasure to deal with. I'm SO happy with the hostas... they're healthy and good sized and have nice root systems. No transplant shock at all. I've purchased from a number of other mail order plant sources and Bentley Gardens is at the top of my list!!

This is a wonderful nursery to deal with. I won a hydrangea from them off of Ebay. They arranged a time for me to pick up my plant. I was happy with the quality of plant I recieved. I was allowed to look at all the plants which were in wonderful shape for the time of year.

I purchased nine daylilies from Bentley Gardens. The plants were very healthy with a great root system and were neatly trimmed. Each plant was individually wrapped and labeled and arrived moist with new root growth. I was able to delay shipment and it arrived at the exact time I asked. Auctions on Ebay can be combined with the website and the ordering process is very easy, with great descriptions and pictures. The owner answered all emails promptly. I will definately buy from again and highy recommend this seller. First rate service and products. All nine daylilies have been planted and are growing well. A+++++
I ordered several plants from Bentley, Elephant Ear and Hydrangeas. Received great, well packaged, plants. I had a question and emailed them and within minutes they responded with the information I needed with offer of any additional information or help needed. Would certainly order from them again.
