I ordered two pairs of minis as my first ever mail order roses. The Twisters were fine. The pair of Red Cascades both had a moderate case of powdery mildew, though they were well packed and separate from each other. I sent email to the company asking what treatment they recommended, and never got a reply. I found an organic treatment on the web and used it and removed the worst afflicted parts of the plants. They seem to be rebounding, hence neutral feedback. However, I would really have appreciated a reply to my email. As a sidenote, they had answered a previous email about the plant spacing recommended for minis (and I did appreciate the reply on that).
I just received my order from this company and I have to say I wasn't very pleased. Some of the roses I bought were crushed and a few had their stems snapped in half. Two of them are extremely small. I usually order through another company and their roses are tall and healthy looking, they either have blooms or lots of buds on them. I don't expect the ones I have received from the Uncommon Rose to have any buds on it until next year or later. That's how small they are. I don't think I will order from them again. I was very disappointed.

The actual ordering experience went well, but I must say I was disappointed in my purchase. For the price I paid, I found the roses to be a bit small in comparison to another company I have bought from. Unless they have something I just cannot find some place else, I doubt I would buy from them again.

Last year I ordered Cafe Ole and Green Ice. Maybe I got the last of the ones they had, because neither of them was worth writing home about. They were really crushed and took a long time to perk up. They did not do well all year and I had very few blooms. They do have a wonderful selection, but I won't be ordering from them anymore.
i bought several roses from this company and found only two that did well several were extrememly small and runty looking. after a whole growing season two were still small and stunted looking. i was very very disappointed in my purchase and would never do business with them again. this year those two roses are only an inch and a half high and i gave them all very good care. the roses i bought from another mini roses company flourished and did very well. so i do not know what the problem is but i am not happy.
