This is my first experience with Paradise and it is certainly a good one. I ordered and received my plants within 8 days and the plants are healthy and larger than I expected. The cost and freight was a little high, but in the long run, I believe it will definitely be worth the extra cost. The packing was extra good and I will certainly order from Paradise again next Spring and look forward to it.

Received my plants within a week of ordering. The viburnum came packed nicely and looks nice. I wish they would have had some planting instructions in the box though.

My second plant came and although smaller then what the local nursery was selling looks good and came packed with information. Also got a nice free ground cover as a bonus and a couple catalogs from oakes daylilies. Very nice and I am very pleased

Plants (Campalula's) arrived quickly and in excellent condition, still moist, and well packed. Plants were large and still flowering.
Excellent quality plants, very much better than some other sources I have used.

Wow! The daylily divisions exceeded my expectations. I'm truly impressed by their size and quality. They actually looked as though they were recently dug up and shipped quickly. A really nice "Bonus" plant was included, also. This was a very nice experience.

I was pleasantly surprised at the care that was taken with the packaging. I had ordered two echinacea that was part of an order that included daylilies from Oakes Daylilies. I was told the echinacea would ship in May , quite a bit after the daylilies shipped. The echinacea came just as promised and were very healthy and packed well.

Well packed and damp, but not wet.
I have always had great experiences ordering from Paradise Garden and their sister company, Oakes daylilies, and will not hesitate to order from either of them again and again.

I am a daylily fanatic. For our new yard, I ordered a total of 50 daylilies -- 30 of them from Paradise Gardens. For a spot-on comparison, three orders from three different companies arrived on the same day. The daylilies from Paradise were almost three-times the size of those from the other companies, were much healthier, were better packaged, and have done incredibly well in my garden. A number of the daylilies from the other companies died. Each time I ordered daylilies from Paradise, they included a free daylily or two. In each case, those free daylilies were of the same caliber as the others AND were clearly selected to go with those I had ordered.

Having had such a wonderful experience with Paradise daylilies, I ordered some shrubs from them as well. UPS messed up one delivery and delivered 2 of three shrubs I ordered. The 3rd was delivered 10 days later, and dead. One call to Paradise and another was shipped, and it arrived in great shape.

I will continue dealing with Paradise Gardens whenever I can. I also hope to attend their annual daylily festival next year. Pink daylilies anyone ?

Ordered two different Buddleia's (butterfly bushes) for late summer/early fall planting on August 18 and received two very healthy plants today (8/27) that were very securely packed in the box they were delivered in. In addition, to my surprise, I received a bonus daylily with the order that was also in excellent condition. I would definitely order from Paradise Gardens again!

Just an outstanding company. The quality of the plants I received was nothing short of excellent. I knew the cost of each plant was a bit higher, but when the huge box came with the plants inside it, I first thought they had shipped me a tree of some sort, not ornamental grasses!

The grasses were well over 2 feet tall and packed beautifully. They were alive as hell and I just finished planting them.

I have ordered from over 9 different mail order plant nurseries, and I never had such healthy and mature plants as these were.

I am scanning the catalog and will certainly order more. They may cost a little more, but oh the quality is worth it.

I ordered some daylilies as well as campanula 'white clips' from Paradise Garden this past September. They arrived well packaged and good sized. (They even sent a bonus daylily!) One of the daylilies (leprechauns wealth) even bloomed by October!! The items seemed to be on the pricier side (though it's worth it for the larger plants provided). My only real 'complaint' about my experience w/ Paradise Garden would be their shipping rates... different rates apply to different items ordered and end up adding up! But overall, I would definitely order from them again.

I ordered a white peony bush from them and it cost about same as a dud one I had bought from a well known catalog/online plant seller. Paradise Garden's root is 3-4 times larger + they included a nice day lily start at no extra.

Over the past two years, I have ordered a variety of hostas and daylilly's from Paradise Garden and I could not be more pleased! The plants have always been quite large with very healthy root systems and they ship promptly and package everything well! Most daylillys blooomed the very first year (profusely!) and everything 'wintered' well - which is always a plus here in Iowa. They also include "bonus plants" and that's a pleasant surprise each time. It's a great company to deal with!

I ordered six lily bulbs from Paradise Garden this spring but only received three. They gave me "seed points" to use toward another purchase to make up the difference. I would have preferred a refund, but didn't ask for one. Anyway, the three lilies are coming up and looking great. The three plants have an average of nine buds each so far, which is really impressive for a first year bulb. In fact, I've never had a first year lily with that many buds in the initial clump (even more should develop as the inflorecense develops). My only regret is that I didn't get all six of these little dynamos! My only suggestion is that Paradise Garden reduce its shipping charges by at least a couple of dollars. If shipping was less, I would purchase more.

I ordered 6 hydrangeas and they arrived within a week. I'm very happy with the size of these 2-year-old plants. I've had these about a month and planted them 2 weeks ago. Four out of the six has new buds. The other 2 are showing green in the stems so I think it's just a matter of time. I would gladly reorder from Paradise Garden.

This is the first year I have mail ordered plants, so I picked out a handful of companies and placed smaller orders with each. The order from Paradise Garden arrived in 2 parts. Their plants were the biggest and look the healthiest of all that I have received. One of the bulbs that I ordered was out of stock, so they allowed me to substitute another plant AND, on their own, credited my account with extra "SeedPoints" to spend on that plant. They also included a free day lily with the order.

WOW! I just unpacked my first order from Paradise Garden, and couldn't be happier. The plants are HEALTHY and HUGE--better than I normally get from area nurseries. The packaging is the best I've seen. It should be the industry standard for how to ship plant material! And I received a beautiful bonus daylily for a relatively small order. Thank you, Paradise Garden! I have the feeling I will be doing business with this company for a long time!
