(Zone 7b) wrote:I recently ordered some waterlily plants and tablet fertilizer from Lilypons online. I quickly rec'd an email order confirmation shortly after placing my order that all was in stock and I rec'd the tablets w/i a week. After several weeks of waiting for my plants, I gave the company a call to get an update about the shipping status. I was told, by a rep, who whispered in an embarrassed tone, that "we no longer sell/ship water plants to CA." I was totally shocked! I've ordered from them in the past because of their reputation, size, product selection and beautiful catalog regularly sent to me in CA. I asked why I didn't receive some notification about this policy given my order. The rep rambled and offered little explanation. I am very disappointed in this company's policy and handling of it in my case. |
