I recently placed my second order with this company. I have been very pleased both times. I received large, healthy plants, expertly packed, and I love that they grow many of their plants. By phone, they are courteous and helpful. Online, their website is attractive and easy to navigate. Great company!

I ordered from GC this spring but was disappointed in the heucheras I received. They're sold in 5.5" pots, but the roots were obviously liner length. What they sell as a larger plant turns out to be mostly potting soil with very few roots. I emailed a complaint but have not heard back from them. I won't be ordering from GC again. Stopped ordering in 2009 due to prices, ordered again this year expecting good value, but got poor value instead.

Heidi at GC contacted me. She didn't replace the plant, but I was satisfied that she responded. The plant I complained about is growing, though slower than the matching plant and they're in the same pot. I ordered some echinaceas sometime later and because I had entered two different shipping addresses, she emailed to check, and emailed to double and triple check. Then she called when my card was declined. I appreciated that too. I definitely wanted those coneflowers! I had bought one earlier. My neighbor saw it in bloom and wanted one exactly like it. Since it was doing so well in a large pot I ordered a smaller one for a smaller pot. Great plants, and finally, responsive service.

I got my 6 Bobo hydrangeas today. I had been worried that because they were the "last 6" that they had they wouldn't be as nice as the rest of the supply. I have to admit they are beautiful!!!! Packaged very well and big robust plants. They are stunning....my neighbors almost didn't believe me when I said they were mail order.
Also, the hold on my accounts expired yesterday so my funds were returned to my account this morning.
I will order from them again if I see something I need. I just think in the future I will place my orders by phone to avoid any mistakes (on my end or theirs).

When I contacted them a representative told me that the Million Kisses Devotion begonias would soon recover with home care and in fact they did completely recover two weeks later after I repotted them and put them on my indoor plant regimen (rotating Miracle-Gro + humic acid & vinegar + hydrogen peroxide every two days). The representative also gave me a refund for the begonias.

I am writing one year later after having returned to Garden Crossings for a second go-around. There were no great surprises. Once again, I am so tremendously impressed with the high quality of the bedding plants and the Proven winner plants. All appear to be "fresher" and more viable than plants I can obtain locally. The packaging is impeccable. Again, the pricing is very fair. The customer service (Heidi) is the best. My only regret is I am running out of space to add more plants right now... I haven't given up though... there must be a corner that needs a little color...

The Plant Palette plants arrived last out of the three. They were fairly large and healthy compared to the other companies.

After posting the rating I received a email from GC owner. They expressed that they would like to understand the problems I experienced and if they could make it right.
I have placed a order and they agreed to send replacement plants and I have ordered additional plants with my gift certificate.
That is very good customer service when people notice when a customer is not happy and reach out to make it right even from a 2010 order. That is a long way back to offer replacement plants that did not survive.
For my area the best time for planting is May so I will return when I get the new order and report the size and health of the new order.
