I have ordered several coleus from Rosy Dawn Gardens for 3 springs now and I have always been happy with my order. The plants have always arrived healthy and very well packaged. They always include a great bonus plant too. Their customer service is always friendly and helpful. They have an outstanding variety of plants that would be impossible to locate locally. The prices are very reasonable also. I will continue to be a repeat customer.
Received my first order, and am delighted with the quality of the plants! Each plant was labelled and carefully wrapped in a corrugated sleeve, and the soil plug was plastic-wrapped so shipment trauma was minimized! Great selection, easy -to-navigate website, clear communication at ever step of the ordering and shipping process --I will definitely order from this company again!

I am so pleased with my experience! Placed an large coleus order, had a prompt confirmation by e-mail, then very helpful communication with customer service, and today (exactly at the date requested) my plants arrived! They are in perfect condition, large, healthy, very cleverly packed so nothing got damaged, and nicely labeled. I am very happy, and will definitely order again and recommend this company as a great source for coleus. My only regret is that I haven't found this nice company years ago!

ok...so i'm thinking when i placed the order, by the way this company is describing their plants, that they were going to be "cuttings". i order 50... that's RIGHT! 50 "cuttings, and requested that they send them in april since that will give me 4 to 5 weeks to make a few more "cuttings'..... so yesterday i get home and there is this very large box from them......
I COULD NOT BELEIVE ME EYES! ( i KNOW some must be over 18" high) OMG! what do i do with these huge, gorgeous, the BEST i have even seen coleus??? i haven't even seen this nice of plants at any local nursery, no less a "internet" order company! they package the plants perfectly. NOT one broken plant in all the 50!
well, i just got finished putting them in nice 4 inch pots, which some had to squeeze into. i put them in my little greenhouse and they are so happy........and so am i!!
i would not hesitate one ny minute to order again and again. you can purchase with absolute confidence. you WILL NOT be disappointed.
ps....i also got an "extra" plant also...and in my case...what was the company worried that one wasn't over a foot tall???

Received my first order yesterday. All were healthy, large, well packed. The info sheet included stated their policy of sending a "bonus" plant when they feel one of the ordered plants they ship is undersized. I guess my bonus plant was to compensate for the one they shipped that was only 5" tall! I'm used to starting plants from a leaf cutting, so 5" is well established to me. They have another happy customer.

I've just received my first order from Rosy Dawn Gardens, and this nursery gets an A++ for plant quality, plant condition and packaging - what superb packaging! Great protection for the plants yet easy to unpack *and* easy to clean up - unbeatable. They seem to have chosen the bonus plants to match my order, and I could not be more pleased with the plants themselves. Prices were great, too. I'm delighted!

My husband and I ordered 6 coleus plants from Rosy Dawn. They arrived yesterday. They were well packaged, healthy and much larger than I expected. We even received a bonus coleus with our order. This is a great source for coleus!!

It taught me a couple of things about boxing up my own plants to mail to friends. The plants were nice sized and of course, they were completely different from anything I could buy locally. I ordered coleus from them in 2004 and was very pleased with the extensive variety, good images/descriptions and pricing. The packaging was excellent, and the plants arrived in good condition, very healthy and stocky. The best source for coleus I have ever found. Wish they sold heucheras...
I ordered several coleus last summer from Rosy Dawn Gardens and received nice plants in a very short time. This is a great place to get these plants for those of us who don't have the time and/or the sunny space for starting seeds. They have an exceptional variety of these plants......... I'll definitely order from them again.

Rosy Dawn Gardens specializes in Coleus, and they have a vast selection that will amaze you as well as geraniums and other companion plants. I found them by doing a search for coleus on the internet. I love to use coleus in various places around my gardens and our selection here is usually limited to the same varieties year after year (wizard mix and that's about all). This company gives you detailed information on each type as to height, habit and a picture to guide you in your choices.
I chose and ordered 6 varieties from Rosy Dawn Gardens this April (04). She shipped exactly on time (when I had requested) and the coleus were double the size (compared to what you get in spring here), robust and packaged wonderfully in it's own pot and shipping sleeve. She also gives good instructions on how to unpack and get them ready to go into the garden and even included a "bonus" coleus in my order. All the coleus grew extremely well and lived up to my expectations.
Although a little pricier than buying in market packs from an annual nursery, the coleus you get from Rosy Dawn will delight you all summer long and are well worth the extra spent. I heartily recommend this company if you are looking for unique or a wide variety to choose from! You'll find the owner very nice, accomodating and easy to deal with.

I just received this year's coleus order from Rosy Dawn Gardens - 18 plants. I'm astonished at and extremely happy with the size and health of these after shipping - they all arrived in perfect condition. Again Rosy Dawn gets an A++++ in my book! She even sent me a bonus plant. With the selection and care this company has, I don't know that I'd order my coleus from anyone else!
