I ordered 3 bags of Ranunculus Rainbow Mix (order number 3513) on July, 2005. Compared to those sold at Lowes, HD, or other online stores, Easytogrowbulbs' Ranunculus bulbs were big, but in all fairness, they were not 7+ cm (or 2.7+ inches) as advertised. The customer service was impeccable. I received my order within 3 days. It was very hot in Texas during the summer. So Easytogrowbulbs advised me storing the bulbs in a cool place. I followed their advice. I planted the bulbs in the second week of Jan, 2006. It is now the end of April, 2006. Of the 30 bulbs I planted, only 9 of them grew and are now blooming. So, I am kind of disappointed. That is the only reason that keeps me from returning to Easytogrowbulbs. I am very impressed with their services, but not with their products.

I was looking for begonia tubers, and they were one of the many that carried them. Their selection included Amerihybrids, which were nicer than other versions I have seen on the net. Their promise of large tubers could not be argued. I've never purchased tubers of such size.
I placed the order in Feb, but because of my zone, they would not ship til mid March, so the wait was a killer, but understandable.
Upon receiving my items, I noticed that one of the tubers was lighter than the rest. After noticing part of the skin peeled back, I decided to peek. Turns out the tuber had completely rotted. So I sent an e-mail with the issue.
I got a courteous response the following night, apologizing, and was told it would be replaced. I received the replacement in a couple of days, along with a letter from customer service. They didn't just replace the single tuber, they replaced the full package, which comes in packages of 3. So I received 2 extra!
Kudos to them understanding customer satisfaction and care!

I've always been given prompt, polite replies to any questions I've had, they've rectified billing errors (error on my part, not theirs).

2005 I ordered 3 varieties of Amaryllis.
1. received a different variety than ordered.
2. received two bulbs of the ordered variety but they performed poorly (grew only 5" tall, flowers only partially opened before dying) and the third bulb was of a variety I did not order.
3. received the variety ordered and they performed well.

I have purchased several times from Easy To Grow Bulbs !! They are incredibly helpful, ship quickly and always send excellent bulbs. I always check their site before looking elsewhere for my bulbs. I will always be a loyal fan. There's a lot of truth to the old saying "you get what youy pay for" ! Their prices are competitve and I have found their quality superior.
I placed two orders with this company, one in October and one in November. Combining the shipments, I ordered anemones, ranunculus, reblooming beareded iris, spanish bluebells, fritillaria, amaryllis, and daffodils. Over all, I am very pleased with this company - almost everything met or exceeded my expectations - and will definitely order from them again. The items were shipped immediately and I received prompt costumer service. A couple of warning comments - First, if you live in an area that has good garden resources, you might not always be impressed by the size of the bulbs (for example, Amaryllis). Second, my experience with their reblooming bearded iris has not been good. Maybe it's a lesson that one shouldn't buy rhizomes on clearance, but the rhizomes I bought have been less than impressive, and that's a kind statement. I hope I can ammend this comment after the blooming season. Third, regarding the Adventure Packs, I wonder if the Adventure Packs are always mixed ranunculus?
I have placed two orders with Easy to Grow Blubs.com this fall. Am very impressed with the quality and prices. Especially the Amaryllis bulbs. They are huge, much better than the ones in my local nurseries, and for a better price. The customer service is excellent, from quick response to an email, to the thank you added to my invoice. I know others that have purchased from them, and also are very positive.

Very pleased -- couldn't ask for better! First off, it's nice to find a place that selects bulbs specifically for warm-weather gardeners. I ordered freesias and ranunculus, because they had great color selection and had the tecolote ranunculus. The bulbs/corms are nice sized -- the freesias are the biggest I've ever seen, and the ranunculus are literally 4x as big as some I ordered last year elsewhere. I ordered over $25 or $50 (can't remember the amount) so they sent a bonus pack of extra ranunculus. Shipping was extremely prompt, and included a nice note on the packing slip. On my list to order from every year!

I ordered some decollate snails from this place 4 months ago, when I never recieved them I emailed them numerous times as well as called and left messages, with no emails back regarding my order, so after 3 months went by the last email I sent to them is that they were very unprofessional and to cancel my order, they never billed my credit card thank god, and never got a response about that either.

I purchased the Volturno Lilies . They arrived in excellant condition. After being a floral manager for 14 years, I thought I had seen all. Well, until you grow the Volturno Lily you have not seen anything but Pretty flowers. These Lilies out shine anything I have ever sold or have ever grown!!
I am now working on my master gardener's certificate and this lily is so Beautiful there are not words to discribe it. This lily is a MUST for your garden to grow for yourself or to cut for a gift !!!!
I'm so glad I "stumbled" on this company while searching for Zeyheranthis (The Fairy Lily) I found out they come in 3 colors - not just pink -- lots of learnings in the "how to" pages. Easy to navigate web pages - easy to place an order, better yet - Both times I ordered - the order was recceived in 2-3 days -- and this is West Coast to EAST COAST ! That' s really fast. Packaging, labels, quality of the bulbs - SUPER. I too got the tuber-roses after seeing the unbelievable photo - Sure, I figured they would be big, but that big -- YES -- They were HUGE, and and extra one thrown in where one was a little smaller than the others. The Adverture Pack was great -- not leftover junk -- They were nice bulbs that I hadn't tried before - Easily $6.00 - $8.00 elsewhere.
I had one small problem with a live plant - e mail was answered very quickly and not only was a free replacement sent out the SAME DAY - I was given an additional "gift" as an apology for the problem, which I appreciated and felt was extremely gracious and totally unnecessary. These people are serious about customer service. I ordered oxalis, elephant ears, begonias, zephyr lillies, begonias and a couple other things -- I'm thoroughly pleased with all of them. Next year I'm getting the GLADS early enough to plant in my area. Highly recommended.

Placed an order last week and was pleasantly surprised by the quick delivery. Reasonable shipping rates as well. The best part is the size of their flowerbulbs. They advertise the largest bulbs on the net and I believe them. My gladiolus were the size of potatoes and I can't wait to see what kind of flowers they produce. I will definately order from them again.
Very impressed with this company and their website. I found the site easy to navigate, well laid out and the pricing was fair particularly considering the good value you get with the size of their product. Their Tuberose bulbs in particular are outstanding and 4-5X larger than anything I've ever seen. I contacted customer service once and got a reply very quickly. I have since referred them to a few others and all have reported back no problems. I'll certainly be back next season.
I purcahsed Tuberose. They answered my e-mail within two hours, that was a fast surprise. After I received Tuberose, GEE, they are huge, I mean HUGE. Normally I would plant 3 tube in a 10-12 inches pot, but theirs are so huge, I did not know what to do. I e-mail them again, this time, took two days to get a response - very vrey helpful. Definitely a A+ company. The shipping time took 7 days, from California to Louisiana, it should not be a problem in spring. When you buy plants in hot summer, no matter where you shop at, take shipping time into consideration.

I just received 9 begonia bulbs that I bought and I'm amazed. Haven't ever seen bulbs 3" across before. These put my local garden center's products to shame. Easy to Grow Bulbs's begonia selection was good, and while not cheap, these were worth every penny. I had two questions before I sent my order and got a nice personal email with helpful answers. I'll order from these guys again.
Isn't the website beautiful? I placed a $50 order on 2/13/05 and got an email that things would be shipping shortly. Then, nothing happened. I followed up and didn't get a timely response. When I did get a response, I was told items would be shipped by 3/7 due to "frost issues" -Today is 3/11 - no bulbs, no shipping notice and no word. Now, No order - I canceled it. I wish it had worked. This was my first try and I had high hopes. Any other suggestions out there on where I can order or buy quality bulbs? I live in Fallbrook CA. I really loved the website for Easy to Grow bulbs, sounds like my experience was out of the ordinary....too bad.

I bought some oxalis regnelli bulbs from this company, and was *super happy* with them. I couldn't believe how great the bulbs looked when I got them - very big and very healthy looking. I had some from my local nursery as well, and the difference between the two sets was glaring. Easy-to-grow's were probably 3x the size of the equivalent ones I'd gotten from the local nursery, and they weren't at all shrivelled or dried-looking like the local ones were. They also came well-packed and were very quickly delivered.
Would definitely buy from them again! Would choose them over my local nursery options any day of the week. :)
I have ordered ranunculus, daffodils, paperwhites and 6 kinds of amaryllis from this company. All the bulbs have been big and healthy. The paperwhites and amaryllis are just beginning to bloom now and they are amazing. Two of the amaryllis have 3 flowers stalks each.
Also, I had a couple of questions, so I emailed the customer service department and they were answered quickly.
I plan to order from this company again and, in fact, am going to get some more amaryllis for holiday gifts. The amaryllis baskets/kits are pretty inexpensive when you consider the big bulbs and the fact that they give you a support stake, moss and printed instructions, in addition to the bulb, basket and soil.
