I ordered several varieties of Caladium bulbs from Easy to Grow Bulbs. I have never seen such huge bulbs! They are obviously very healthy with no soft spots anywhere. I also love their customer service -- they always respond quickly and are helpful. Bottom line: Don't hesitate to order from this company!

After several failed experiences with rooting plumeria cuttings I decided to order from Easy to Grow Bulbs based on their good ratings and the price of the plant including shipping. I received a well packaged and well rooted cutting. I was a bit nervous about the lack of leaves but after a three weeks it finaly sprouted some leaves. I am thrilled to finaly get a growing plumeria. I would definately order from this company again.

The bulbs came up beautifully, but the Pheasant's Eye daffodil (planted in two places) is infected with nematodes. Brand new, tiny garden that I likely have destroy and can never use for bulbs again. I contacted the company by email yesterday and have received no response.
Can someone tell me if I can fight the infection? Do I need to trash the hyacinth I planted there too? Out of 5 varieties of daff I ordered, so far only the one variety is showing signs of infection.

I ordered several types of bulbs and plants from Easy To Grow Bulbs, and all of them exceeded my expectations! Their pricing was awesome too :) The gladiolus and ranunculus were the biggest that I have ever bought; I was amazed! The packaging was very nice as well.
Also, this company and I had a minor hiccup with some payment issues, but it was all resolved in a very timely manner; Kathleen and the other lady (I can't remember at the moment) provided great customer service :)
All in all, they've got a returning customer here!

After a coworker put the idea in my head that I simply MUST have lilies in my garden, I logged on to DG to find a bulb company in their top companies that wasn't going to bust my budget. Easy to Grow Bulbs is fantastic! I browsed their website and picked out my bulbs. I love the design, it is very easy to use and is filled with great information about the plants you are purchasing. All of their bulbs are very reasonably priced, and I love the different assortments. I placed my order on Thursday March 7, and they arrived in the mail today! Less than a week later! I ordered the oriental lily assortment and some rialto lilies that were on sale. The bulbs look wonderful. Seeing as I just got them I can't comment on how they bloom, so I will post again when they do. So pleased with my entire experiance! I will do business with them again soon!

As the Spring season is upon us I cannot encourage people enough to check out Easy to Grow's website for your spring bulbs and plants. I ordered from them 3 times last year, and almost everything did great! My kniphofia is huge - 4 spires in the first year - couldn't believe how gorgeous it was. My glads are already coming back. I had 100% of my lilies produce beautiful fragrant blooms. I just love this company and I love the quality of their bulbs. Until now I've only had positive experiences with Easy To Grow Bulbs. But this year my order didn't arrive - it was shipped on October 4th, the Post Office says it was delivered on October 7th, but we never received it. I sent an email to Easy To Grow bulbs, got a response back almost immediately asking me to check with our postal carrier. I did - the carrier couldn't recall the delivery - so I emailed back (three times over the course of a week) and have had no response. I also left a phone message this morning (Friday), and have received no response by phone or email. So I'm out $112, and have no bulbs, and I'm not getting a response from the company. I'm hoping this posting will result in hearing back from them.

I see so many positive comments here, especially of their good customer service. I wonder how you guys are able to contact this customer service at all. I just can't. I tried to call, nobody answered, I left a message but nobody got interested in it. Their email address doesn't work - I send an email and I get it back over and over again. I tried to contact them through this site davesgarden.com, I sent an email, it didn't come back but still no answer. I also tried to contact this nursery last spring, a had a question to ask and the result was the same - NO ANSWER. I think perhaps I am not as big and important as you guys are that nobody in this great company seems to notice me and my problem. In one comment here I read that after a negative comment here, somebody in their customer service contacted its author and offered to settle all his problems. So I am writing this negative comment with the same purpose - please, contact me (firstname.lastname@example.org) and offer me to settle my problem because I AM ALREADY TIRED OF ALL MY ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT AND BE HEARD BY THIS GREAT COMPANY. Thank you.

I contacted customer service because less than half of the 72 Casa Blanca lilies I ordered and planted this spring came up and those that did have weak stems, small flowers and some deformed blooms.. Since I experimented with several different lily varieties last year and had excellent success with the Casa Blancas from Easy to Grow Bulbs , I was terribly disappointed in the poor show this year. I have received no response from the company, and of course, will not order from them again.
My past experience from this company is mixed: I planted 100 leucojum which did FABULOUS, but none of the gladiolus came up---so the lilies tip the scale to the negative.

A representative from Easy to grow Bulbs contacted me soon after I posted on Dave's Garden to offer me full replacement of my Casa Blanca Lilies even though some did bloom. I am very satisfied and feel they went above what was necessary to retain a customer. I will be shopping with them again!!

Having ordered from Easy to Grow Bulbs/Willow Creek Gardens in the past, and always having a great experience, I was so disappointed this time, that I don't think I will order from this company again.
I ordered 18 Cleopatra Canna Rhizomes (6 bags of 3), and while they shipped quickly, the bulbs were completely inferior, and certainly not "large" tubers as described on the website.
There were 3 rhizomes that were about as big as my pointer finger. The rest were between 1/2 inch to 1.5" long.
I planted them anyway with a little irritation thinking they were just going to be small, but nearly two months later, only 4 bulbs have sprouted growth. I emailed the company twice and I never got a response.
Extremely disappointing for a supposedly highly rated company on the Dave's Garden Watchdog Community.

Haven't ordered anything other than seeds from a mail order company for at least 8 years (bad experience). After reading GWD reviews, decided to give it a try again. Ordered dahlias, tuberous begonias and peonies. Really surprised at the size and quality of the tubers. All have sprouted and are growing well. Will be ordering from this company again.

The bareroot nearly Lady Baltimore hibiscus I ordered had new growth within just three days. They had an excellent price on purple d'oro lilies and I got tons of them and all are a good 12+ inches high and 6-8 inches wide and budding already---I planted them a month ago. I reordered a lot of things I'd ordered from another company more than 10 weeks before and they are in the ground and growing while I still am waiting for the other bulbs from a different company to arrive. They also sent some free bulbs and I look forward to seeing what they'll do. Overall an excellent buying experience. Ignore the Watchdog ratings at your peril and thank you Dave's for sending this vendor my way. Will definitely keep them on my list of preferred vendors!

Everything I have ordered has come packed appropriately and has flourished with the exception of three red carpet rose bushes. I was worried I may not get a response, but I have been overly impressed with the numerous communications I have received from Kathleen at Easy to Grow Bulbs! She has put me at ease and has assured me the red rose bushes will take off and if not, they will be replaced. She is wonderful!!! I couldn't ask for anything more!! I live in Zone 9A and ordered from Easy to Grow Bulbs based on reviews from Dave's website. My bulbs/plants arrived arrived in good condition, except for one of the bleeding hearts, which did not have a great root system. I emailed the company about this one plant-they did respond quickly- and they told me to water the "iffy" plant differently from the others ordered. It has been 3 weeks, and still no sign of life, above or below the ground. The astilbies look great, the rose bushes have sprouting leafs, and the other bleeding heart is coming up just fine. I wish both bleeding hearts were working, but sadly not so. That being said, I will rate them positive, and probably have to order more bleeding hearts to replace the one that just died.

I ordered 21 Salvia "May Night" from this company on 4/17/2013. Plants were delivered 4/23/2013. These were live plants which were very healthy and large. Packaging was great and I was very happy with my order. There was even a suprise package of bulbs included.
There was one tiny issue. Two of the 21 plants were the wrong variety. I Emailed Kathleen as soon as I discovered the error and asked her if she could help as my design called for 21 plants. She responded almost immediately, apologized for the error and said she would make sure the 2 correct plants shipped the next day. I only bring this up because I want everyone to be aware of their excellent Customer Service in addition to the wonderful quality of plants they offer for sale. I will be buying lots of plants from them in the future. One of the best on line nurseries I do business with.

After seeing this company's rating here on Dave's Garden, I checked out their website. I've only ordered plant material from online companies since last year and have had mixed results. What a pleasant surprise to speak with Kathleen at Easy to Grow Bulbs! I called them to get some advice on particular plants and she was patient, kind and enthusiastic. I ordered two different types of gladiolus, dinner plate dahlias, alstromeria, and tuberose and received some lycoris as a bonus. Everything is planted but it's too early to tell how they will do. But I had to jump on here and say what a nice experience I've had so far.
Last year, I ordered several varieties of trumpet lilies from EasyToGrowBulbs.com, and those bulbs arrived in excellent shape and far beyond the size I was expecting. I planted them and they bloomed like 3-year-old established bulbs...huge amounts of gorgeous flowers. I just ordered again, and again the bulbs are far larger than I had expected...hopefully they'll perform like the ones I bought last year.
I love to grow edible plants in my garden mixed with my flowers. I ordered three new plants for my garden and they were so much larger than I expected to receive as full plants. I ordered the stevia, which I will use for a natural sweetener, and lemon grass for Asian cooking and tea, and the bay laurel for savory cooking. I am so excited about my new plants and how they are already growing in my garden. I will be ordering more from Easy to Grow Bulbs.

The dormant bearded iris rhizomes are at least three times larger than the ones I bought at my local nursery. Since I am in zone 7b, I like their selection of warm climate bulbs. Shipping was also fast, and the order shipped within a week of being placed.
I also ordered a red amaryllis which has just bloomed, and has four HUGE beautiful red flowers with a second flower stalk forming. For any frugal gardeners like me wondering if the price is worth it to pay ~$10 for an amaryllis bulb when you can buy one for $5 at Walmart, I can most definitely say yes. I bought one to grow just for comparison, and they do not even look like the same plant. I wish I could upload a picture into the review, but the cheap bulb grew about one foot tall, and put out four small flowers about four inches wide. The Easy to Grow amaryllis is over 2 1/2 feet tall with flowers over eight inches across with a beautiful open shape, just like their pictures.

Most of these I haven't grown before. However, I did order a lot of dahlias and glads from specialty breeders last year, so I have an idea of what to expect, size-wise, and I'm happy to report that the ones I got this year from Easy to Grow Bulbs are extremely large.
If you order at least $50 worth of things, they send you something free. They sent me a "Francee" hosta with at least 5 eyes, which is much larger than you usually get when ordering hostas by mail.
So, to summarize: fast service, good packaging, and large plants and bulbs. Their website is a pleasure to use, too. I will order from them again.

I would highly recommend purchasing bulbs and plants from EasytoGrowBulbs.com. Their website is easy to navigate, it's informative, prices are good and the quality of the plants I have ordered has been outstanding!
My initial order consisted of several types of bare root hardy geraniums, double tuberose bulbs, rain lily bulbs, and crocosmia bulbs. All of the bulbs were in excellent condition and were larger than what I could hope to purchase at any of the big box stores (ie Lowes, Walmart, HDepot, etc.). The tuberoses were HUGE! The hardy geraniums were fresh, strong, good sized, and nearly all were very healthy.
The one problem I did have was with one pack of the hardy geraniums. It had compacted during shipping and I think as a result the bare root plants didn't get enough air and therefore started to rot. I thought I could salvage the plants and I tried to, but after almost a week I didn't see any signs of growth and the rot appeared to have continued so I emailed EasytoGrowBulbs and had the very pleasant experience of working with Kathleen to resolve the situation.
I was so impressed with the overall quality and value of the plants and bulbs in my first order, I had put together in the mean time a second order. That order arrived yesterday and included the replacement pack of hardy geraniums. Once again, all of the bulbs were in excellent condition and all of the bare root plants were in tip top shape. I am very satisfied with all of the plants I've purchased, and I am truly impressed with the friendly, prompt, and professional customer service. I will definitely order from EasytoGrowBulbs again.

There was a problem with some of the peonies when they arrived (not viable), and after contacting Kathleen in customer service the issue was resolved quickly and easily. I realize that companies selling bulbs can't be taken to task on every order that fails, due to variables beyond their control, but it seems that many negative reviews center around Customer Service taking an immediate defensive. Kathleen was not only professional, but kindly - and enthusiastically - helped me out. Thanks to her, ETGB's have yet another customer for life.
I was looking for a specific iris plant for my Mom as a present and found Easy to Grow Bulbs on the Watchdog 30 list. Not only did they have what she was looking for but their customer service given by Kathleen was the excellent, the best in all my years of mail order. Mom was thrilled, the quality and condition of the plant perfect. Many kudos to Easy Grow ( I can't say enough) and thanks to Watchdog 30 for pointing me in their direction!
I have made several - four or five - purchases from Easy to Grow Bulbs. I am hooked! Everything is growing and looks wonderful and they come packaged beautifully. I've got plumerias, passion flowers, daisies, every kind of lily I think and begonias and things I cannot pronounce. I will continue to get goodies from EtGB - everything has far outdone anything I ever got at Home Depot or Lowe's!!! Happy planting!
I placed a rather large order of daffodils and tulips in the fall. They all came up this spring and are beautiful. They look like the pictures from their website.
I also placed an even larger order this spring. I ordered many different types of Orienpet lilies, dahlia, ginger, tuberose and hostas. The order arrived quickly and in great shape. There was one small mistake, instead of gold hostas I was sent a very large package of gold oriental lily bulbs. I called the company and the problem was quickly and very professionally resolved. My hostas arrived priority mail 2 days later and I was told to keep the other bulbs as a gift. They were a rather expensive freebie.
I must stress that all the bulbs I have received are in excellent condition and very large in size. The lily bulbs are about softball size. Other companies say they have large sized bulbs but this company really does. This is my new go to bulb place. I feel very secure with their quality.
I placed orders for the Corkscrew Vine (Vigna Caracalla) through QVC (via Cottage Farms, yuck!!) and monticellostore.org. Not only did both companies send 2" tall, barely clinging to life plants, it turned out both companies also sent the wrong plant.
The plants I received from Cottage Farms arrived pretty much cooked and DOA! I paid a hefty $12.95 each. When I called to complain about the condition of the plants and request replacement plants, I asked the customer service gal if the plants I was originally sent were the fragrant variety. She said "No." I then cancelled the order for the replacement plants and requested a refund.
I then did some more searching on the internet and came upon monticellostore.org. This is part of the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, you know. Surely a high class outfit like this would do better! Nope! Thomas Jefferson would have been rolling in his grave if he saw the plants I received. They too sent plants that were wrong and dead. Even I had a good laugh and cry when I opened to box and saw them. Drats! Foiled Again!!
I googled for online nurseries selling Vigna Caracalla (Corkscrew Vine) and came across Easy to Grow Bulbs. I checked their reputation on Dave's Garden and placed an order. I must say I am thoroughly delighted and excited with my purchase. Not only did they send 2 big beautiful plants that will flower this year, but they arrived in 2 days in great condition. I can't say enough good things about "Easy to Grow" and will definitely do business with them again.
I have had no luck trying to root Plumerias and decided to try a rooted plant from Easy to grow bulbs.com. In less than a week I received a large rooted and potted plant with two leaves. It was very well packaged and arrived intact. The price and shipping was far less than I ever saw before online. If I can get this one to grow I will certainly be back for more.

I can't say enough good things about this company. I placed two sizeable orders this year, both with a little of everything, 13 different Amaryllis, 5 different Oxalis, wild tulips, some of the prepotted Amaryllis packages, and numerous other bulbs, and everything was absolutely perfect! Bulbs were huge, healthy and gorgeous. The prepacked Amaryllis would have cost me more to make with the quality baskets and pots they used. Shipped boxes are always packed as though they're shipping glass.. LOL Customer service is friendly, always keeps me informed, and shipping is prompt. The prices are great, too! This is how a company should operate. Take Note Everyone else!
