I have been happy 2 years in a row with my order from this company. They send good quality bulbs of large size that bloom well. It is also nice to receive a bonus gift. It appears to me that they are more than willing to promptly and fairly resolve any issue that arises with an order.

Found this company accidentally while 'surfing the web' and was quite happy I did! Their website is easy to navigate and they have quite a nice selection, including a large assortment of the Tecolote strain of ranunculus (which are hard to find). Ordered Anemones and Double Freesias and the corms of both are HUGE!! Had a question about the bulbs and got quick help from Jon in Customer Service. Their quality is excellent and the Customer Service unbeatable. If you email this company, you can be assured that you will receive a prompt reply. I couldn't be more pleased with them and will order from them again!

I was very happy to receive such large healthy bulbs. They even sent me a bonus plant as a thank you gift. Great service, I highly recommend them.

I'm a beginner at planting bulbs so I called Easy to Grow Bulbs to make sure I was ordering the right plants for my location. They took the time to go over all the plants on my list and also gave me great recommendations on other plants that would thrive in my area.
I receive great looking bulbs about 2 weeks ago and most of the plants are already sprouting up!
Still need to wait for spring for the other plants, but I'm confident they will bloom nicely.
I was a bit sceptical of this website since it's not as flashy as Van Bourgondien or white flower farms website, but they've got great cutomer service and a better product.
I'm looking forward to buying more plants with Easy to Grow Bulbs.

I've ordered bulbs from this company twice. Both orders were processed in a quick and orderly fashion. The communications were good and the plants were shipped when promised. The bulbs were large and very healthy. Everything has bloomed very nicely. This is definitely a good source for quality bulbs and the prices are very reasonable.

But the one I bought and got started for her (Apple Blossom) FLOURISHED! She got two spikes of flowers off the darn thing. I figured it was the perfect houseplant for her because she could take care of it for a few months while it was pretty and then just give it to someone who knows something about reblooming them when it finished blooming. The one I bought for myself (White Christmas) had one spike of HUGE sparkling white flowers. I didn't know how to rebloom it, so I just gave it to someone who knew how when the flowers were spent. They were much higher quality than the amaryllis I've bought before. You're supposed to put them in pots two inches larger than the diameter of the bulb, but I put them in 8" pots because they were about 5" across, and I couldn't find 7" pots.
Anyway, a great company! Great prices too, under $10 a bulb! Last time I bought amaryllis, I paid about $15 a bulb for lower quality plants. I've only seen them cheaper at one other place, and you have to buy them in sets of eight to get them at that price. So if I were to buy them from the other place, I'd be up to my eyeballs in amaryllis.

Due to landscaping issues (they are 2 weeks behind on completing the job), I contacted the company and requested that my orders be shipped on a specific date. I received a prompt reply and Kathleen has been most accommodating. She is awesome....

I have also received 2 of my 5 orders and the quality of the bulbs is far better than any other... Due to the awesome customer service provided by Kathleen and the plump bulbs I have already received, I requested to add some additional items to one of my orders.

I am thrilled at the prospect of spring and will definitely be a loyal customer of for many years to come. Thank you Kathleen, "you rock".

This was my first experience with Easy to Grow Bulbs. I ordered 5 pkgs of reblooming irises and one pkg of Oxalis adenophylla and received a bonus pkg of Allium Drumstick. I am very pleased with the size and condition of the bulbs. The irises are especially nice - all were qty 3 but if a rhizome was on the small side, two small ones were counted as one. Very nice surprise to see the grading of the rhizomes; makes the purchase a very good value.

I will absolutely order from them again.

So far, two irses have produced big beautiful flowers. The other one is growing so tall, but no flower. All 3 irises are so healthy comparing with my other irises ordered from Direct Gardening, Breck's and Michigan Bulb.

Only 1 begonia is still not growing yet. Hopefully, it will grow soon. No replacement is allowed. The other 5 are growing well.

Kathleen is always in good manner.

I am willing to pay a little more money for good healthy plants.
I have just placed another order of calla lilies, daylily and gladious with big discount. I look forward to receiving them soon.

I've placed two orders with this company, beginning in Oct 2008. Their bulbs have been a good size, well-packed and shipped in a timely manner. The spring bulbs have bloomed beautifully this year.

I also ordered 2 hardy geraniums in October. When one of those bloomed, it turned out to have been mislabeled. I e-mailed the vendor, and received a response within 48 hours promising to replace the plant. Within another 48 hours, I had received not one, but three nice healthy bare roots. Although I didn't expect the additional plants, this is the way I treat my customers if I make a mistake, and it's definitely the way I like to be treated!

I will add to the shining reviews -- last month I ordered Gloriosa tubers, Callas, Cardiocrinum Giganteum (which came packed with special care, as it is a large bulb and had quite a bit of growth showing already), Flowering Ginger, Lily of the Valley, Freesias, Peacock Orchids, Conco D' Or Lily, Tuberose and all of them looked very healthy, large and were packed very nicely. I received a few blood lilies in my 'adventure pack' that I've never grown. So, I'm excited about that too!

The website planting guides are very helpful as well. The only interaction that I had with customer service (outside of order confirmation, of course) was asking if they could send the bulbs earlier than the suggested date for my area. They did so and the products showed up very promptly. Although, I feel like I'm missing out since I haven't gotten to speak to Kathleen, lol...sounds like the star of the company to me. ;-)

I went to the link from Dave's and I'm glad I did. I will be ordering more in the future and have already told a couple of friends about my experience. Thank you!

She helps me pick things that will compliment each other. She offers suggestions, and asks questions of what I am trying to accomplish. I have ordered now several times in the past year, and had only one order that arrived a little off. The daffodil bulbs that I ordered were a little black inside and mushy when they arrived. One call to the company and I had replacement bulbs two days later. No problems at all. I have alot of green popping up in my cold NJ ground, I can't wait to see the beautiful colors that will soon be exploding in my yard. I was lucky to have found this company, and you will be too!

This was my first experience with Easy To Grow and from start to finish it was fabulous. Before ordering, I emailed a few questions and Kathleen returned my email within the hour. We exchanged several emails, and she helped me avoid making a few mistakes on where I had planned on planting the bulbs that I had picked out. Quick to respond, friendly and knowledgeable, Kathleen was great! My order was packed with great care and everything looks wonderful. The bulbs were huge compared to what I have seen in the big box stores or my local nurseries. The adventure packs they give out are an awesome idea and it was great to get a little surprise added to my order.

About the only bad thing that I could say about this place, is that it could potentially be really hard on your wallet. I know that I will be shopping there again and again!

Found this company on Daves Garden. The bulbs were a good size, not dry or damaged. It's still winter here, but foilage from all the bulbs has crowned and blooms on the crocus are about to pop! So far so good.

I forgot to include a note when ordering that I wanted my bulbs shipped ahead of the regular schedule so I could start them indoors (it's cold in Zone 3!!) so I emailed customer service. I received a response the same day! From an actual person! Now that's service.
4. The biggest reason I am a return customer at Easy to Grow, though, is because of the quality of their product. I have ordered a wide variety of different plants from them, from paperwhites and amaryllis to begonias and ranunculus, and I am continually impressed with the results produced by their bulbs.
In other words, I can't recommend this company highly enough.

It was a FED EX problem, not theirs, but they happily resent an order and did not charge me. Their email and phone communications were extremely pleasant and prompt. My tiny, insignificant order was treated as though it were the largest order they's ever received. Kathleen is an angel!
The quality of the bulbs is exceptional and the lovely tradition of Christmas paperwhites for our family now has even more meaning thanks to this wonderfully compassionate company.

The daylily mix I bought was accidentally shipped with one missing daylily. Customer service immediately replied to my email and told me to choose any daylily from their site to send as a replacement (despite the fact that I had purchased an inexpensive random mix). I will definitely be placing many orders with Easy to Grow Bulbs in the future!
