So far I have placed 2 lily bulb orders with Buggy Crazy this fall and both have been wonderful. I echo many of the comments from previous members on her fast service and large, freshly dug bulbs. Because of the limited selection of my local nurseries I have tried many online bulb companies to get "hard to find" bulbs and Buggy Crazy is by far the best to date. I challenge anybody to find a better quality lily bulb on the market. The prices are very affordable too. This is my 2nd season with Buggy Crazy and I am 100% converted and satisfied . Received my first order of lily bulbs from Lisa. They are fabulous. You can tell they were freshly dug. The roots are very plump & white. They are by far largest bulbs I have ever received. I am so glad I read the reviews here and went ahead and placed my order for lily bulbs from Buggy Crazy. I only wish I had ordered from them before this because the service was fast, the bulbs are wonderfully sized and very reasonably priced. It was a delight to open up the box and pull out those fat, healthy bulbs (with their plastic markers included which is another plus!). These are BIG, mature bulbs which I can tell were freshly dug, with their roots intact and ready to be planted right back in the ground. The packaging was wonderful as well. I will most definitely be ordering from Buggy Crazy again next year....this is my new favorite company! They offer a huge selection of lilies of every kind. Fantastic customer service and even more fantastic product. The bulbs I received are larger and better in appearance than anything I have ever bought before and I have bought bulbs from a lot of places, local and online as well as companies that say they are representing Holland growers. Really great looking plant material. I've never grown a foxtail lily before so this is going to be exciting. If the plant doesn't thrive it won't be because the plant wasn't good.
I purchased several dracunculus bulbs last year. Buggy Crazy "upgraded" the size at no additional cost to me. When they came up this year, the plants were robust and healthy. Although this was my only experience with the nursery, I was won over immediately. Thank you Buggy Crazy for your great bulbs and fantastic customer service!
I received my first order of bulbs yesterday from Buggy Crazy (due to the number of "positive" ratings here). All of the bulbs were neatly bagged and clearly labeled. They look terrific! The colchicum water lily bulb is monstrous, and Lisa threw in a few extra speckled lavender colchicum bulbs because they were smaller than she liked. Lisa was very responsive and obviously loves her bulbs. She decided to delay shipment (no big deal for me) due to weather conditions in order for the bulbs to be at their peak for planting. Thanks much, Lisa; the wait was definitely worth it.

I would like to say that my purchasing experience was truly flawless. I made a sizable purchase consisting of Lily bulbs, Lily of the Valley and a wonderful plant native to my County..the later being something I could not even find in our local nurseries.
The order will filled quickly & correctly. I was kept aware of the status of my order from begining through the shipping. The plants were healthy. The bulbs were unbelievably large,robust & healthy. Each and every plant or bulb was carefully protected and secured (with ID). The packing was meticulious with attention to placement of plant/bulbs in the shipping box so as to ensure safe arrival in a expediant manner. Buggy Crazy and Lisa are truely in a class by themselves as said by many people before me. I just want to add my name to that list. My order arrived yesterday and my wife brought it in to me. I picked it up and said I think you are wrong this must be something you ordered off of e-bay. It weighted a ton. Then when I opened it I found out why, Those bulbs were HUGE and I told my wife we better get the post hole digger out to put them in. Lisa was just great in responding to e-mails, kept me posted on my order and the end result was a great experience. I can't wait till next spring to see these monsters put on a show.

The supers are absolutely gargantuan. One of the normal sized orientals I ordered weighs a pound and is enormous. Far bigger than I ever got from other companies.
Bulbs are big, firm and very clean. She also tries to answer every e-mail.
After mail ordering plants for 20 + years I have, out of necessity developed a negative "lets see what I get attitude". You get the wrong plants. They were shipped incorrectly and are dying or stressed out. The jumbo tubers are the size of a pea. Your order gets taken when half the plants are out of stock. The beat goes on and on. It never does any good to complain so I've tried to weed out the crooks, freaks and the nurseries that can't grow dandelions and have developed a short list of companies that I trust. Today I received my first order from Buggy Crazy. They made the short list. What can I say? How about "WOW"! You don't need a degree in horticulture to recognize healthy, properly grown stock. I am also impressed that Lisa took the time to make sure our computers were communicating properly so I would be notified when my order shipped.

I ordered three different kinds of bulbs from Buggy Crazy -- Peacock Orchids (Acidanthera murielae), Harlequin Flowers (Sparaxis tricolor), and Calla Lilies (Zantedeschia aethiopica). I also ordered various Lily seeds. The Lily seeds germinated very well and are doing great (some seedlings have three true leaves after only 6-7 weeks). The Harlequin Flower bulbs did less well; a few bulbs were dry and hollow on arrival, and the bulbs that grew yielded pale, weak plants that haven't shown me much yet. But I can forgive the Harlequin Flowers because of the Peacock Orchids (which are ravishing -- strong, full, beautiful) and the Calla Lilies. I ordered five small species Calla Lily bulbs for $1 each -- an amazing price. When they arrived, there weren't just five bulbs; there were eight. I was delighted. And every bulb grew and thrived (although the two smallest will be a while before they bloom). I had really wanted the Calla Lilies, Peacock Orchids, and Lilies. I had only ordered the Harlequin Flowers on a whim (because they only cost $1 for 5 bulbs), so I wasn't terribly disappointed and never even bothered to approach Buggy Crazy about them.
Lisa Hunt sells absolutely the best bulbs available in the US. Hands down. They are the largest, cleanest, freshest bulbs I have ever ordered. Her idea idea of small bulbs still beats to competition. Lisa is extremely prompt with inquiries and handles everything professionally. She is a magnificent resource and an asset to the internet and a huge favorite of mine and others here at Dave's Garden.
