Web site, shipping , all communications very professional. Ferns were in wonderful condition when they arrived and in the ground in three hours. Very much appreciated all the email contact. Highly recommend. Will be back next year for more southern shield ferns

just placed a second order of three plants last week. they arrived safely on my doorstep within a few days. up to the minute emails arrive as the ordering/delivering process progresses.
they only had four of these plants in inventory so they shipped the fourth one to me (at no extra charge of course) and also included some healthy rooted cuttings of two cultivars i didn't have in my garden.
am i a happy gardener? you better believe it and you better put this company on your list to buy from! let's keep these small nurseries who really care about us and our plants busy and prosperous.

Very good experience buying from them, my fig plant arrived in very good condition. They kept in touch on when the order would be delivered and if something was wrong they would sent me another plant.

I ordered a Winter Jasmine (Jasminum nudiflorum) a bit late in the season, and was a bit nervous about shipping in the heat, but I'm just a few states north of Gardens OyVey and the plant arrived in two days time, looking very fresh, full, and healthy. It did arrive while my boyfriend was at home, so I had him tuck it in the cool garage while I was at work.
This is not a variety of jasmine that is easy to find.I tried growing this jasmine (a single-stem rooted cutting)a few years ago in an indoor hanging pot that one of the cats knocked down one too many times. I paid something around twenty bucks (incl. shipping) for that single stem...I decided to start out with a more vigorous and established plant this time. The extra growth is completely worth the extra cost. This plant is show-off ready out of the box!
The plant was secured in a box nearly as tall as me, with a thick section of bamboo securing the 3-gallon container to the bottom and ensuring the box would not collapse during shipping, the soil was carefully secured with crumpled rolls of damp newspaper, and the longest shoots were carefully curled around the top of the box--I would estimate the height at at least 3 feet. This plant was very carefully packed and it looks like they make every effort not to top off plants for shipping purposes. Diane and Wolfgang sent a nice e-mail letting me know that they would hold my plant until the Monday following my order (as is explained in their seller info) and give it a 24-hour drink before shipping, and I was provided with a tracking number when it shipped...it arrived in perfect condition.
I replanted in a jumbo 24" planter and it is just gorgeous!! We are having some very windy weather, so I sprayed it down with anti-transpirant to ease the transplant shock, although I'm not sure it needed it. I think this plant has had extra TLC from day one :)
I am just thrilled with this jasmine and I'll look at Gardens OyVey first the next time I'm hunting down some great specimen!!

This experience has been the best I've ever had with any company at any time.
They communicate quickly and clearly while still being friendly. The hydrangea I received is quite large, appears exceptionally robust, and was so carefully packed it could have been porcelain.
Receiving the most hale and hearty mail-order plant I’ve ever seen would have been more than enough for me to sing their praises, but that’s not all …
They don't just include an invoice with the order like so many others. I received several professional and attractive pages of detailed instructions (which are delightfully easy to follow) along with some very interesting and helpful information about planting in general. I’ve been a Master Gardener for about ten years and yet this basic, common-sense information was new to me. They have given me ideas that will improve my day-to-day gardening for the rest of my days. I can’t thank them enough for this.
The next time I’m in Tennessee I will make a point to visit A Nursery Inside A Garden.

Can't say enough nice things about this company! The shipping was fast, and the packaging was so good, you couldn't even tell the plants had been through the mail!! As others have stated, communication was first rate as well. I ordered 2 Little Lime hydrangeas and they were gorgeous--I couldn't believe their size! Very nicely shaped, multi branched, plants with well developed root systems, etc. They made the transition from pot, to ground with no trouble at all. It's nice to do business with people who care so much about what they do and enjoy what they do!
I bought 2 Rohdea Japonica (Sacred Lily). They arrived in fantastic shape. Lively green and ready to plant. I only ordered 2, but because the plants were a good size I was able to separate them and got 6. Thank you so much. I will be ordering from you again and again and again.
I ordered a Japanese Maple tree, the delivery was quick lots of updates through emails and specific instructions in how to plant it.
The tree arrived in good condition and it looks beautiful.

I was more than pleased with my first order from this company. Based on the great reviews I placed a bigger order than I normally would with a company I had not ordered from before, and I can only say I wished I had ordered more! The order shipped very quickly, I recieved E-mail updates at every step of the process, and the plants arrived in wonderful condition. Everything I ordered was much bigger than I expected for the price, and the root systems were HUGE. The packaging was flawless - not a leaf out of place. To top it all off, I received a bonus hydrangea. I will definitely be ordering again.

I am totally satisfied with my purchase of a Styrax Japonicus. It appears healthy, of substantial size and fullness and with a considerable rootmass contained in a three-gallon pot of rich soil material. A print-out of the planting care was included (the same that is in their website and linked-to in their email correspondence). I had the planting site prepared and simply soaked the plant in its pot for over an hour and a half (the minimum) and then planted it. I'm in Wilmington, NC and we've had alot of rain the past 10 days so the soil was moist; the sun was already blocked by trees in the late autumn afternoon so I felt it was safe to go-ahead and plant the tree in its permanent place without concern for heat-stress. The packing was fine, the UPS guy seemed to know which side was up. I ordered the tree late on a Tuesday, was emailed shortly after and informed that due to shipping time it would be shipped at beginning of following week to prevent sitting in warehouse over the weekend--understood. The correspondence continued at every step, payment, UPS pick-up and tracking number--package arrived as stated on Wed of following week at 2:00. Kudos to Dave's Garden for this incredible site that links you from queries about a specific plant to users with their experiences, to recommended vendors, to rating vendors and their users' comments; and finally to have the best 30 vendors as rated by users--awesome! I had ordered trees just once before, blindly searching for vendors and plants in google--this process now with Dave's has answered my prayers. I will not hesitate to use GardensOyvey again if they have a plant I want and can't find locally. The price of the tree was $48 which might seem a bit high, but I value the effort, knowledge, care etc. of the company to give me my money's worth--and I really wanted this tree!
I recently ordered from Gardensoyvey for the first time and was completely satisfied with the quality plants I received.
Excellent communication was provided throughout the entire process. The plants arrived within a week and were well packed. I am happy to discover this new mail-order source for plants. I will continue to shop for plants at Gardensoyvey.

Got a chance to visit this lovely nursery just outside Memphis. Met Wolfgang who was welcoming and helpful. Found some plant varieties that were in short supply where I live(Arkansas). Thanks to Dave's Garden for bringing this treasure of a nursery to my attention.
ordered a limelight hydrangea from them, received it on time, but the post office must have let it set in the sun and it was cooked. reported this and they were happy to send a replacement quickly, which arrived again quickly , but this time in excellent condition.

I ordered a limelight hydrangea from this company earlier this Spring. My shrub arrived promptly and in wonderful condition. The packing was excellent. I'm happy to report that nearly 3 months later, my shrub is looking quite lovely.

Received my order of Pee Gee in fine condition. I order one plant but they shipped two!! Unfortunately, I managed to drown my plant with too much water. I recently purchased a chinese fringe tree (c. retusus) from Gardensoyvey. I was very pleased with the tree. It was even bigger and better than described. Also, they give outstanding service, answer all questions and they ship very quickly. The packing of the tree was outstanding. I will use them again.

There are several clones of the rare Rohdea japonica out there. However, I was immediately attracted to the Rohdea japonica at Gardensoyvey. The plant seemed to have a more upright growth habit instead of the usual squat birdsnest type growth of other Rohdea japonicas. I immeditaely asked Gardensoyvey to send me a Rohdea japonica with the most upright growth. I got an order confirmation and was continually informed about the status of my order. They said that they would send me a great plant--and indeed they did! The plant was quite tall, full, with healthy green growth and strong roots. The plant came right away and was shipped to arrive in perfect condition. On my way out to work this morning, I stopped by my potted up Rohdea just to admire its elegance, and I'm so thankful to gardensoyvey for such a real beauty! I look forward to ordering from Gardensoyvey again, and I highly recommend them.

A Google search showed me a number of mailorder nurseries who listed my plant, but most just listed it... they didn't actually carry it! Gardensoyvey had it, though, and at a very reasonable price, so, after checking Garden Watchdog, I placed the order. The communication with Gardensoyvey! was fabulous. They confirmed my order, provided tracking information for shipping, then emailed me to say when the order would arrive and exactly what I should do once it did. In every part of this transaction, they went above and beyond what I expected. And the plants are gorgeous, nice and big and healthy. I will definitely order from them again in the future, because it was such a great experience that I'd like to repeat it, and because it appears they have terrific taste in plants! ;-)

I have ordered plants from them this Spring and they will do everything in their power to make sure you get them in in the shortest period of time and in top conduction. They make sure that they are pack very will so that there is no damage to your plants.
I will continue to do business with them.
In fact they made me a offer last Fall on the plants that I got this Spring and they keep to their word to the T.
When you contact them they will get back to you the same day. This means that you do not have to worry about anything.
Like some places you will wait for a few days or even a week to hear from them.
I would rate them on a scare from ONE to TEN a TEN being the very best. Believe me I never rate anyone a TEN unless they go above and beyond the call of service.

This is my second season purchasing from Garden Soyvey and I look forward to more. The plants are always healthy when they arrive and I haven't lost one yet! Besides - they are very responsive to any sort of question you might have. I highly recommend them.

I purchased some Heuchera from GardensOyVey just before the rains hit Nashville last weekend (I planted them about 30 minutes before the rain started). After 16" of rain, one lasted about a week; one I think will survive and one has done great. I mentioned this to Wolfgang when I ordered more a few days ago, and they happily sent me a couple of replacements. I had no expectation for that to occur and I am very thankful for them!
My order, a Hearts-a-Bustin, was delivered quickly and in very good condition. Gardensoyvey courteously and effortlessly overcame an error I'd made in the shipping address. And I didn't have to get above a minimum order threshold to place an order for just this one plant. I'll order from them again.
