I was VERY impressed with Naconiche Gardens and their spectacular selection of great, healthy plants - including RARES and EXOTICS. Nathan was extremely helpful answering my questions. I highly recommend visiting this nursery. You will not be disappointed. EmmaGrace.

Short and sweet : A completely positive experience this season. Matt and Jo Anne will take time to talk to you about the plants, answer questions, and are just generally friendly folks. I phoned over and asked Matt about a couple of plants that I should have picked up on my first visit and he held them for me for a week and a half until I could get back over there w/o requiring a credit card or any other security. I urge anyone in the Lufkin/Nacogodoches/Tyler area to drop by there and check out the selection and help keep this place open so I can continue get those hard to find plants at very reasonable prices (2 gal Bannana shrub, Michelia fuscata/figo, for $7.00 ain't bad). Visit their website for more info.

10/25/2007 Just an update: If you have not been by to see this place in full bloom, you have missed a great experience. Made it by the afternoon of the SFA Arboretum Fall sale and it was breath taking how goergeous this place is. Their selection gets better and better (and it was already great). This is a no miss place even if you just want to get ideas for your own beds, phenomenal! They are knowledgeable on any question I have ever posed and are willingly to spend time with you, not just answer a question and run off. Truly an under appreciated treasure in our East Texas back yard. Keep up the good job guys!
