I had ordered 30 trap door snails for my pond on May 30, 08, paying $48.75. When they arrived the following week 7 of them floated. Not knowing anything about the snails I called the Pond Mega Store and was told they were dead and to send an email explaining what happened and that the snails would be replaced. An email was sent the next day. This was the first week in June. Im still waiting for the snails to arrive!
I have not heard a word on the replacement snails. I have called multiple times, leaving multiple voice messages, and have sent several emails with not one response. I happened to call again a few weeks ago and sounded like I caught the owner walking out the door. He said he would have the snails mailed out monday. Hmmm......I wonder which monday he meant? Still have not seen them!!!! It's been over 7 weeks. This is extremely POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I absolutely hate it when companies take your money for products and services and then have nothing to do with you when you have a problem or complaint. I will not be recommending this store/web site to anyone.

My mom turned me onto this company in the spring of 2006. She placed our first order and the plants were great, great tubers and leaves on my hardy water lily. The tropical lily was a really nice size, I replanted it immediately and the rootball was huge. This spring I called and got a nice woman on the phone who helped me with an algae problem. Its nice to communicate with real people. I emailed them twice this summer and they responded to my pond questions within hours even though I didnt order anything that time. Most impressive customer service. Kudos to my mother for sharing this company with me. - Fairly decent shipping time from order, they only ship live plants at the beginning of the week so they dont sit over the weekend. Common for plant companies now and I like getting healthy plants so its a good practice.

I called and talked to a lady named Barb on two occassions before placing an order. She is a delight and very helpful for advice. A few days after placing my order I got two boxes of very nice plants. The hyacinths are very nice and have been blooming for weeks. My lotus is doing well and is begining to send up buds. The tropical water lilies have big leaves and many blooms and they have only been in the ponds about three and a half weeks. Everything was well packed. I am very happy with this company and will be ordering from again as will my sister for her pond. A+ Service A+ Plants, Quick delivery.

About two weeks ago I called a rep about the fish they sell and Julia helped me with all my questions. They overnight the fish and all are healthy & pretty. I placed a large order with this company May 8th 06'. Order was allegedly shipped several days later, although conflicting info was given to me about the carrier USPO or Fedex.

Its now 2 weeks later and I hav'nt rec'd order nor will Pondmegastore answer either the phone or my numerous e-mails..........caveat emptor.

One thing they are prompt with is charging your credit card acct. that was done the same day as the order.

Ordered Lilies and lotus. Both arrived within about a week of ordering. They were well packed. The lilies were huge compared to other mail order. Big tuber and very established root system. They looked like I just pulled them out of my pond and hosed them down. The lotus tubers look healthy and dormant.

This year I tested out about a dozen or so mail order, this one made the final cut as a permanent one.

This was my first year ordering from this company. My Hyacinths arrived looking just stellar. My lilies ranged from average about 6 leaves to very nice full grown with blooms & buds. I guess it depends on the variety but hey some companies send just the tuber, they all are nice healthy plants. My frogbit seemed small but I later discovered they stay that way. The customer service person Julia was quick and timely at answering my response. Pretty good I will order from again.
