I ordered six dwarf citrus from this company in April and they all arrived well packed in their own pots and in good shape. I had been warned that citrus trees might loose some or all of their leaves after receipt, but these haven't lost any and look great after almost a month.
I ordered a Bay Leaf plant in the spring and it is thriving outside. I have emailed the website a couple of times and he has always replied within 30 minutes and is very helpful. He offers products that he sells, but also gives me alternatives that are easily found in most stores. I appreciate that - even though I have only ordered once. We are planning to buy a few more trees next spring for our new yard.
I purchased a banana tree, a lemon tree, and an orange tree. I rec'd all three very quickly. I've had them about a month now and all three have had new growth and are doing good. I've not had much experience with these types of plants, so the instructions they included with the product was very helpful in making my experience productive.
We ordered an orange tree and a meyer lemon tree which we received today and I am really impressed with this company. Our trees are healthy and beautiful. They shipped quickly through FedEx, so the leaves aren't browned from being boxed too long, like so many other plants we've ordered through the mail. I have to give this company a big "thumbs up"--we will definitely order from them again!!
Excellent experience. Quick response to my emails and excellent product. Service was beyond expectations. Highly recommend.

I found that this place is close to where i live recently. I drove out and met the owner Ty.He took me to his greenhouse and showed me the trees he had in stock. I was mainly after a Satsuma tree, but decided to get a Valencia orange also. He was very helpful with info on growing and picking best items he could find. From what I saw the trees were very healthy and he said these were not even his best stock as he is getting in a new shipment. He knows his citrus and I would recommend anyone looking for citrus to order from him. I hope to do further business in future. Highly Recommended.

Wonderful experience!!!
My folks were here visiting on their way back through to Illinois and we drove out to look at the trees to purchase a Marrs Orange and Rio grapefruit.
The owner personally walked us out and through the green house and picked out the best ones for me. we came home with the orange, grapefruit plus a Meyers lemon and a bay tree.
Very friendly and willing to help if you have any questions that you can't find answers for on their website.
The plants are great I can't wait for them to start producing the fruit!!!!
We stopped by the tree farm today and had a wonderful experience. The owner personally took us through his entire collection and picked out the most attractive trees he could find. He explained how to care for all of them and was just as polite as could be. I am looking forward to some meyer lemons!!!! Our kumquat tree already has a ton of fruit that I look forward to ripening!
Ordered a Moro orange, Meyer lemon and a Cavendish banana back early on in the summer (cant remember exact date, probably late May/Early June). All plants arrived looking great which was a little surprising after their trek from Texas to Baltimore, MD in the hot weather. The poor Moro got separated from the rest at the Baltimore FedEx depot and ended in VA so I received it a day later then the others but it was still looking great. The Meyer even had a small gum ball size lemon growing on it though it vanished a few weeks after we moved the trees outside.
That was a few months ago. The Moro still looks good, not noticing any new growth on it though.
The Cavendish banana is taking off, it has almost doubled in height since and its growing a new BIG leaf every 3-4 days and each one is larger then the last!
The Meyer lemon has new growth comming in, we have also had to pluck suckers off from under the graft line a few times also. Over the past week or 2 about 20 flower buds have started to grow on it so we should be getting some lemons!
Over all I am very pleased with the plants and I will definitely be ordering a satsuma or a kumquat from them in the near future.

This company has treated me very well. A few months ago I ordered 3 citrus trees and all three arrived in beautiful condition. Lots of healthy leaves, well shaped, etc. Not long after they arrived we hit 116 degrees (Phoenix, AZ) and stayed close to that for many days. All three trees were traumatized and I was busy and didn't rescue them from the blistering heat fast enough. (All three eventually died a sad, slow death.) I immediately called the company and asked his advice, and he not only gave me several suggestions to attempt to save the trees, but Ty, the owner, asked that I call him back after a few weeks to let him know how they did. Unfortunately the news was bad - very dead sticks in dirt. Instead of saying, "oh, that's too bad" he asked that I call him back when the weather leveled out and he would see what he could do for me. And true to his word, when I called back again last week he remembered me and has shipped 3 replacement trees at a very significant discount that will arrive this week. Top notch customer service and sooo easy to deal with. Very helpful, polite, and "WOW".
I called to order 2 improved meyer trees on Aug. 16th and was notified abouth the change of ownership. They were polite and very professional over the phone. I recieved my order in 2 days and my trees were beautiful. I will definately order from them again.

I am a repeat customer of Acorn Springs, having purchased a Meyer lemon and a Nagami kumquat from them. Both plants were larger than I expected, very well packed, and in excellent condition. I would definitely order from this company again.

I ordered a containerized improved Meyer lemon tree. It is in
extremely good health and already has put out new leaf growth on several
branches. It has had no leaf drop despite four nights in its box. It
arrived well-packed and one day earlier than expected.
I also received excellent customer service from Adam (when I had a question) and from the customer service rep. who answered the phone when I initially placed my order.
The information packaged with the plan was helpful. This was my first order from the company, and I definitely plan to order from them again.

Soke to Adam Holland about citus trees, he was friendly and helpful with information and took pains to answer all my questions. I orded two citrus trees which were shipped on 7/5 from Texas and received them on 7/7in Long Island, NY. Both trees were in excellent condition, nothing was broken because of their careful packaging. Recommend them highly to anyone looking for citrus trees.
I ordered an Improved Meyer's Lemon and was quite happy with the plant upon arrival.
Foliage was lush, green, and no pests, which I find important when ordering a plant.
Packaging was done with upmost care, therefore stems and leaves weren't damaged via transit.
My order arrived quickly, much faster than expected.
I had a question regarding the plant, and Acorn responded the same day, answering my inquiry. Toni

THESE GUYS MUST WEAR WHITE HATS 'CAUSE THEY TREATED ME AS AN OLD FRIEND. I ORDERED THREE ITEMS AND THE FIRST CAME TODAY IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. ONE ITEM WAS OUT OF STOCK AND I CALLED TO SEE IF THEY WOULD HAVE MORE LATER AND WE TALKED FOR 30 MIN. THE GUY WAS VERY HELPFUL, EVEN SUGGESTED A BETTER TREE (FOR MY PURPOSE) AND SOME COMPETITORS WHO MIGHT HAVE IT! HE EVEN SAID HE'D UPGRADE THE OTHER ITEM I'D ORDERED (WASN'T DUE TO SHIP FOR A FEW WEEKS) AT NO COST AND IF I COULDN'T FIND THE ITEM, NOT IN THEIR STOCK, ELSWHERE, TO CALL HIM BACK AND HE'D FIND ONE FOR ME! I ARE A HAPPY CAMPER!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*****
I also found ASF through a search for Kaffir lime trees. In addition, just before a recent trip we discovered that we would pass right by the nursery, so I made arrangements to stop. (ASF is only a few minutes off I-20 in northeast TX.) What luck! Not only did we get a good sized, healthy tree for a very fair price, we also received a great tour of the nursery and loads of useful growing tips from Adam (whose enthusiasm for citrus is contagious). It's hard to see how anyone could go wrong ordering from these folks.

I recently purchased the Improved Meyer Lemon as well as the Key Lime from Acorn Springs Farms and was very satisfied with the product that arrived. What was even more pleasing about Acorn Springs Farms was their customer service department. They were able to give me helpfull advice about the trees they offered as well as some they didn't. I was very pleased with the experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to purchase a citrus tree.

What a wonderful experience dealing with these people. They are friendly, informative and rid a person of fear of growing citrus.
I ordered the "Improved" Meyer Lemon and Satsuma Mandarin. The trees arrived very well packed and like they had never been in transit although they were shipped from Texas to Montana. I will not only order again from them but I intend to inform friends where to get them when they see mine.

I have known about Acorn Farm's web site for quite a while. I frequently visit their site and read-up on the various plants they offer. Finally on 14 Mar 04 I took the plunge, called their toll free number and ordered a pair of the following plants: Meiwa (sp?)Kumquat; Satsuma Mandarin; and Surinam Cherries. The next day, I received an email confirmation of my order and tracking numbers for the packages. 3 Days later, my plants arrived. All of them were beautiful healthy plants. My Satsuma had blooms, not a single bloom was lost. My cherry plants, I think got overheated, because they were very limp and lifeless. The following day, I called Acorn, the farm manager was a model of professionalism; he was courteous, and quite solicitous in how he could make it right for me. He offered refund, new plants, replacement, whatever I wanted. But most of all, I was impressed by the amount of time and information he shared with me. I certainly came away with $36 worth of information or however much my cherries cost. We agreed that he would replace my Surinams with new plants.
Since the Surinams are very sensitive to uprooting, I asked if I can visit his farm and pick them up, I live only a couple of hours from his farm. "Absolutely!" was the unhesitating answer. So this Saturday, I will visit Acorn Farms, not only to get my replacement Surinam plants but a list of other plants. Since there are a number of Filipinos in my company, I have gathered orders for Calamondin plants. Acorn Farms has definitely created a gardening monster!! For those of you researching for a good, reputable citrus grower (they also ofer other hard to find plants), I urge you to discover their plants and experience their superlative customer service - I promise you, you will come away a very informed and happy gardener.
I've ordered several times from this company through the years and I have always been pleased. The quality of their citrus trees is better than I've seen elsewhere (I've ordered from a couple of other online sources). If there is an award for BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE, Acorn Springs Farms deserves it. Call them or email them ONE time with a question or problem and you'll know exactly what I mean.
A few months ago I purchased an Improved Meyer Lemon and a Thornless Key Lime from Acorn Springs Farms. After learning all about the trees on their website, I couldn't wait until they arrived. The trees were shipped and packed very carefully, and I was astounded at the size and quality. Also, there were growing and care instructions included with each tree. It was a great experience and I look forward to doing business with Acorn Springs Farms in the near future.
These guys are definitely tops in the mail order garden business. My order arrived safe and sound last Friday. But what impresses me just as much is the service. I found their website doing a search for Kaffir Lime trees. I was hesitant about growing citrus in NJ, but after calling them, I found out what to do to be successful. When we hung up, I went back to their website to order and found all the information that we had just discussed (on the phone). Their customer service could have told me to look it up on the web. But instead, they gave me a toll-free number to the nursery (where they answered all my questions). I called them again today with some aftercare questions and the guy stopped what he was doing and helped me. Once again, when I hung up, I found the answers to my questions packed in the shipping documents. It's really nice to know that there's a company out there that prides itself on such service. And the tree is pretty good too!
I am a repeat customer from Acorn Springs, ordering once from their website and once on their toll free number. Both experiences were totally positive ones - the website is very user friendly and their order line folks are very friendly and knowledgable. My first order was for three Meyer lemon trees which were shipped bare root, arriving in good condition with both blooms and small fruit. My second order was for a calamondin orange tree and some of the avacodo oils that they offer. The tree was in good condition on arrival. I found their shipping prices to be reasonable. I appreciate very much the fact that they are real "weather watchers" and don't ship until the weather is compatible with the trees' survival - a real blessing. It did mean that I had to wait two weeks for my last shipment to be shipped out but the trees did arrive in great condition. Their order people were well informed about what was essential to my trees survival and offered a special citrus fertilizer at a very reasonable price. Included with each shipment was a care sheet and planting instructions (pot size, etc.) and they also sent their monthly newsletter (which included a coupon for my next order). They will definitely be receiving more orders from me in the future and I have recommended them to several of my friends who are soooo impressed by my citrus trees!
I ordered and received an Improved Meyer Lemon from this company just before Christmas. Although it was a gorgeous specimen out of the box, they told me not to expect active growth and blooms until spring. To my surprise, I found three wonderfully aromatic blooms this morning and it's only January 21st! Without qualification, I am extremely pleased with the tree and the overall service I received from Acorn Springs Farms. I will recommend them to all of my gardening friends.

I found this site while surfing the net and boy am I glad I did! The citrus trees that I ordered were 3' tall and industrially packed! They never dropped a leaf, which the company says is unusual. I'm not crazy about them using FedEx since we live in a rural area which FE visits only occasionally. When I mentioned this, they arranged with FE to ship on a date so that the trees would only be in transit 3-4 days. Now, THAT'S customer service! Also, their advice to a neophyte like me is superb....everything from planting help to tips on bugs. They offer very good online printable material also. I'm sold!
I ordered citrus trees from them. They are located in northeast area of Texas. Ordered 1 Calamondin Orange. 1 E. Limequat and 1 Meiwa Kumquat on the net. All were in 1-gallon containers. Took approx 2 week from order to receipt. They have a status page for your order at their website. Prices are reasonable. When I noticed on their website the plants had been shipped, I emailed them to ask for tracking numbers as I had asked for 3 day UPS shipping. They emailed be back the next day with the 2 tracking numbers. When I logged in the UPS to check on them, I discovered they had been delivered in the AM to my home. I suppose it takes them a while to update the order status page.I repotted the plants the next day. All three were in 1 gal containers and all three had fruit on them. The calomondin orange was approx 12-18" high with a good root ball and very healthy looking. The E. Limequat was approx 12" high. It too had a nice root ball. The kumquat was about 8" high, but had virtually no root ball at all. I tapped in out of the container, expecting a good root ball but what I had was loose soil and no root ball. Although it appears healthy, I potted it up in a larger container anyway. Placed all three in the greenhouse and applied some transplant B-1 mixed in with the water. Hopefully, the kumquat will survive. Overall, it was a good experience and I probably would order from them again.
