I was pleased with, and ordered 15 of the Fargesia robusta described here: http://www.bamboogarden.com/Fargesia robusta.html
They responded: "We can fulfill your order but there are a few things I need to clarify about the plants we are currently supplying. We have Fargesia robusta 'Green Screen' http://www.bamboogarden.com/Fargesia robusta Green Screen.ht..."
They get points for being honest, but the attempt to fulfill a big sale with a substitute product is disturbing. If I wanted Green Screen, I would have ordered that in the first place.

We have high standards of quality and make sure that plants we ship out are hardened off and ready to travel. If a customer has made a selection that is not ready to ship out, we contact them and provide an estimated time as to when the plant will be ready, or offer a similar plant as a substitution. "
